I would say this is the best hotel where anyone who wanted to have a family vacation or work retreatment. The hotel staff from guard to manager they are so friendly and very helpful. Their smiley greeting is so nice which gives you a worm welcome. I am so impressed with the service and food.
We truly enjoyed our stay at the Haile Resort in your presidential suite. My Family and I always receive presidential treatment from all staff with every visit. Your management, guests services, restaurant services, room services and spa service and over all hospitality is always loving, caring and professional. The outdoor amenities such as the swimming pool, table pool, playground, tennis, table tennis, and gym are a pleasure and very enjoyable. Also, the different stores and boutiques have a lot of variety of beautiful items. We got a massage prior to this trip and it was very relaxing and the staff were all professional. We have spent two beautiful nights in Haile Resort Hawassa during our honeymoon! With beautifully located rooms, delicious food with wide variety, super fast WiFi and most importantly friendly staff with service oriented personality we got morethan we expected. They went extra mile to surprise us with heartwarming honeymoon room decor and other surprise accompanied by"March Band" during breakfast time.We will definetly come back!
Stayed for 2 nights on leisure. Booked lake view room. The rooms is equipped however needs a bit maintenance to keep the condition such as wall to be painted, bathroom furniture… etc. the water pressure in the shower is very low. The breakfast and dinner options at the main restaurant are pretty good and the quality is also very great. The one in the pool is missing a bit of healthy option. Only pizza and sandwiches. The chef is seen from breakfast to dinner and does table checks. Well done! The staff is super friendly, attentive and ready to make you feel at home. From the security guard, to the housekeeping team and F&B service. The only disappointment was at the check out time. I forgot my credit card. Yes was my mistake and I did not realize until I had to pay the bill. I looked for different options to solve the problem but I did not have any kind of help from the FOM in charge at the reception. He was just blunt and asking me what I am going to do???? Instead of him maybe trying to provide me some alternatives? It made me feel like if I was lying or not having the funds to pay… he was just standing in front of me with extremely unfriendly attitude and “0” costumer friendly service… luckily one of my colleagues transferred the funds and I settled the bill directly with Nathaniel at the front desk. Nathaniel and the other lady were very apologetic with the situation and tried to comfort me once the issue was solved, however, the damage was already done by the attitude of the manager. It just made me leave with extremely bitter feeling thinking twice if I will come back when I need a break from the city. Just not good after having a nice two days. Things happens (like I forgot my card) but there are always solutions and in hospitality industry the staff should be there to assist the guests, especially someone sitting in the management level… If the line TM’s can be friendly, attentive and willing to assist… the management should lead by example and do the same… Just disapointing……
We visited Haile Resort in June of 2022 for a couple of days 12 of us and we loved our time there. The place is very clean and the service was Amazing !! I my self was in the hospitality management for 10 years and I recognize when I get exceptional service!! Can't wait to be back! Loved it!! Thank you for making our vacation memorable 💕 💖 💛
The first thing anyone should do in Hawassa is Relax in Haile resort. Starting from welcoming guests, the service was very good with family friendly staff. The resort has very friendly management who went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. Thank you Margarete Petros for your hospitality.
I love the food. The service. All the staff respect for their customers. We played the mini golf, horse ride and teble tennis. We enjoyed Everything. The restaurant view is perfect. The massage we had was amazing. Our kids enjoy everything here. Sure we will be here again and again.
When we arrived at the resort, the weather was so fresh that we really liked it. When we checked in to our family room, the room was organized and clean. But we thought the family room would be big enough but it was so tight.The breakfast buffet had many option's and was so nice, lunch was not so bad and dinner was so amazing specially the chicken nugget. The kids playground was amazing.And at morning we had a boat ride and we saw many hippos .But the thing that they need to make better is make the rooms more bigger.
When we arrived, the room was not ready despite it being after check in time. But Cherinet and her staff, but especially Cherinet, did an absolutely exceptional job of making our wait enjoyable, providing us with juices, original coffee, water and cookies until the room was ready. And when it was, they gave us a better one, stocked with a bottle of wine and fruit! The staff are truly engaged in the customer experience. And i comes from their hearts, nothing phony or jaded here. It has been, and always will be my go-to lakeside resort watching going to watch the hippos and amazing bird life.
The resort is so nice with Ethiopian hospitality. We stayed in the resort for more than a week and the reception, the waitresses and all the resort staffs have an excellent customer handling and I recommend it to all travellers.
