As part of a group of Travel and Tourism students from Georgian College, we got to experience first hand what eco-tourism truly means. The facilities were great, food the best ever and we got to participate in water sports, and just enjoy one of the most beautiful parks in Ontario just as the fall colours were starting. Fabulous time! It...

After having had a fabulous experience up at Northern Edge Algonquin this past February, we decided to try one of their short canoe trips and we're very happy we did. We got off to a bit of a rough start when we headed out on Thursday afternoon - paddling and portaging and getting gear unpacked and tents / camp etc....

Thank you Deirdre. We always appreciate repeat visitors. Every season has something special to offer guests who want to step away and unplug from the world for a few days. Silver days in Algonquin Park are part of the experience. Our guides like Kieran and Alissa do their best to ensure everyone is warm, dry and comfortable. On those days...

My husband and I are avid car-campers; when we saw Northern Edge popup on Travelzoo, we jumped onto the opportunity to see if backcountry camping is for us. We had never done a portage before, never been to Algonquin, never canoe-camped (although we have canoed a lot). Well, at the end of our 4 day trip -- yes, backcountry camping...

Stunning food, loving hosts, family minded staff, and a great selection of water sports, hiking and biking. Did not see one unhappy guest. Gorgeous shallow lake for learning to paddle board. Felt like home from day one.

I had a wonderful weekend at the Edge, participating in ceremony with others and enjoying the natural beauty around us. Staff made me feel at home and well taken care of, and the other participants were lovely. I would highly recommend the Edge to anyone looking for a meaningful and rejuvenating experience in nature! The Finnish sauna, charming forest accommodations,...

We were one of two other couples invited to share a 25th anniversary trip with my Bro and his bride; we were not sure what to expect, but the Edge team exceeded expectations. The setting is an idyllic, pristine forest/lake environment with log cabins, tented cabins and common buildings that co-exist and thrive with nature. Discovering the little nooks and...

Kieran and Alissa made this a fantastic trip for our family of 2 adults and kids aged 4 and 7. I was a bit nervous having neither canoed or camped before but no need, it was brilliant. The park is beautiful and so peaceful. The kids loved the whole experience and it was really tailored to take into account their...
