Booked three nights here and ended up staying for four! Initially browsed the website as it was in roughly the area I was looking at, but the views from the establishment sold it to me so I booked. Wasn't disappointed. Views are superb looking north towards Raasay and The Storr. Venue very very quite as it is set well back... More

What a lovely place to stay - really clean - a lovely room and we were made very welcome along with our rather ancient cocker spaniel. It's a great location for exploring Skye - even has some views of the Cuillin Hills at the front. Plenty of parking. The breakfasts were generous and lots of choice. John and Iris were... More

John and Iris are lovely hosts. They made us, and my dog, so welcome and we really enjoyed our stay in this excellent B & B. Lovely comfortable room, fantastic breakfast each morning. We are looking forward to a return visit.

We chose this B&B mainly because it was dog friendly, but were delighted to find the accommodation was excellent, Iris & John made the dog welcome, and went out of their way to be helpful, driving us to the next village when they realised we were travelling without a car., The breakfasts were particularly good, with a wide selection to... John and Iris are great hosts and went out of their way to accommodate my gluten free diet with chocolate biscuits, choice of cereals, crumpets and bread, I felt very spoilt, no need to worry if you have a dietary requirement. Rooms spotless and lovely crisp white sheets. Breakfast was a banquet,

I would love to keep how good John and Iris of Fernlea are, so that i might keep them to myself. It was that good. The location is not far from the bridge which is welcome after a long drive however all of Skye is accessible from here. The accommodation was immaculate, our hosts were very friendly and helpful in... More

As students travelling on a budget Fernlea B&B was a little higher than our usual price range, but once we saw the photo of Benji (the owners' handsome golden retriever) we knew we had to try it - and it was worth every precious penny! The room was beautiful, immaculately clean and very spacious, as was the bathroom (you could... More

We recently stayed here on a motorbiking trip around Scotland, and Fernlea was just what we needed. Iris could not have been more helpful. We even got local knowledge about where to go, and what roads would be good on the bike :) Room was great, and had a huge bathroom. Just what two big guys with loads of biking... More
