As we were heading back from our sailing week in the Cyclades, we wanted to spend a few moments to visit Meteora as well - being such a great place. After looking for accommodation, we found this great Villa- with a room accommodating 4 which was the best choice for our 1 night stay near the Monasteries. The host was... More

We stayed 2 nights in this guesthouse and enjoyed our stay. It is perfectly located really in the meteors, at the starting point of walking paths leading to the monasteries. Our room was spacious and nicely arranged. We didn't have a balcony but could access one in the common area which is also very nice. There is a kitchen that... More

We spent one night in beautiful Villa San Giorgio. Hosts very friendly and helpful. Great location for visiting monasteries at Meteora and beautiful sun sets from the nearby mountain lookouts. Clean and nice room with full private bathroom. Breakfast tasty and abundant. We were on tied schedule but one could easily spend a week there. Nice village and plenty trails... More

For a place to stay in Meteora, the Villa San Giorgio has a couple things going for it. First, it is in a good location close to town, restaurants, and within hiking distance to the monasteries. Second, it has Elly, the extremely helpful woman working the hotel's reception. She helped us with transportation and has the bubbly personality needed to... More

The staff is very welcoming and helpful! The receptionist helped us plan our travels and provided a free map of the area. The rooms were cozy and just what we were looking for given the very affordable price. Breakfast was 3 euro in the morning, with delicious bread included. The wifi is fairly reliable. Meteora itself is very beautiful. This... More

If your going to Meteora you definitely will enjoy staying here as it is pretty much as close as you can get. The service here was great and the breakfast was nice. The girl helped us out a lot with information of what to do and where to go. The trains went on strike and she even helped me and... More

We stayed in a family room on the second floor. The room was basic with a few beds , and a TV. There is a kitchen in the basement that guests can use. The wifi didn't really work during our stay. We had a balcony but it basically just had a screen between us and the people in the next... More

Well, I scared when I enter inside because of their family photographs standing inline on the table. The hotels smells villagers . The rooms were ok but the bathroom was very small and not good for bathing. The bed was very big for me. The paint above the bed was too much romantic. The room was very cold at day... More

The location is great, right at the Meteoras. The staff is very kind. We arrived after a day-long trip after midnight and they waited awake with a warm hug - who could resist? :) The breakfast was simple, but OK. The environment is silent and peaceful. It was not easy to find the Villa, the GPS needs more correct address.
