As we were off to the UK over Valentines day thought that we would go to the restaurant on the Saturday before. Nice friendly welcome and we were shown to a table by the window, next to a radiator thank goodness, as the weather was bitter. The en suite room was excellent and the bed was very comfortable. I had dinner in the restaurant and it was superb. The range of options for breakfast was...

They had sockets beside the bed which was wonderful as I need my radio all night. The bedside lights are effective but sufficiently discreet not to keep the other occupant awake. The decor is tasteful shades...

The Auberge was right across the road from the majestic ruins of the Vieux Chateau de Saint-Sauveur, and very centrally located to explore the northern end of the Cotentin Peninsula, with its medieval castle ruins, peaceful marshes (marais), and beautiful seacoasts on all sides. If you're looking for a quiet, small village experience, this would be a pleasant place. It's...
