Lovely family run guest house . Silvana the host was very good in communicating. She is around if need her but also discreet and leaves you in peace.
Rooms very clean, a little dated but very comfortable but wow ! the balcony and the views from it is what makes this place ! The views are beautiful overlooking the Adriatic one way & small town the other .
Rooms not cleaned during stay but we were aware of this and this was fine because always plenty of clean towels , including beach towels, so able to change daily.
Very quiet location and just 15 minutes walk into town where there are several nice restaurants and a couple of supermarkets.
Rocky beach 2 minutes away ideal for a swim then a lovely 30 minute walk talks you to beautiful Sandy Przina Beach .
There is the Lovric winery below the accommodation where you can take a little tour or just buy wine by the glass which was delicious . Breakfast was fantastic , lots of choice , all self service with great view from the breakfast area. There is no longer a restaurant at this accommodation which we hadn’t realised but no problem as several good ones in town or along the coastal path ( see separate reviews)
Highly recommend if want a nice , reasonably price break in Lumbarda .

Fantastic location, short walk to the restaurants. We were based here for a couple of nights on our cycling holiday and it was perfect. Spacious and comfortable rooms, sea just 2 mins walk, quiet and lovely outside terrace with view of the sea to have breakfast. The hosts were really friendly and even happy to keep a bottle of my wine cool in their fridge.

There is a lot to like about this house. Central location within 15 min of beaches and restaurants. Rooms are clean. Our second floor room (walk up) had a nice water view from the window, and a beautiful sea view from the attached deck. Breakfast includes many home-made jams and pastries in addition to yoghurt, fruits and cereal.
However, accommodations are small and spartan. Bathroom is tiny...so is the shower.

Kaz & I enjoyed a 4km (ish) waterfront walk around Old Town Hvar port.
Then a very nice continental breakfast and the group set off for the port.
Private water taxi, Hvar Harbour to Vela Luka, Korčula.
Wildest small boat ride in some time but 18yo skipper, Rocko, got us back to his home town safely and fairly quickly. Meanwhile, those deteriorated disc spacings have been closed right up now.
Then we set off by bike, after seeing off our bags which were travelling to Lovric B&B (Pension Lovric) , Lumbarda, Korčula, for a 60k sortie.
We covered 5 climbs of 785m’s over a ‘moderately(!)’ undulating course.
We skipped lunch (not because we were lost at all!) and ended the journey at Caffe Bar Maestral, for well early Pevo and Aperol Spritz.

Lumbarda is a nice beach area 15 minutes from old town Korcula. You will need a car. Large room with huge deck with view. The one negative was a very narrow bathroom, about 3 feet (1 meter) wide so only one person could use and hard to use toilet. The host was very nice and got us tickets for the Sword Dance which was a great show. I did notice that some of the other rooms were small, but ours was large with a huge deck overlooking water.

We spent five days at Pension Lovric, having booked it through the excellent folks at Korcula Explorer. It was an ideal place for our family.
We had a large room with a king-size bed, sofa and small kitchen. The bathroom was small but very clean, with lots of storage space. But the best thing was the large terrace overlooking Lumbarda harbour and the centre of town. We had breakfast on the terrace every morning, and spent some great hours lounging and reading.
Pension Lovric wouldn't be half as great, though, without Silvana, the owner, who seems to work day and night seven days a week, and is always warm, welcoming and pleasant. She really gives you the impression that she's sharing her home with you. And in a country where service with a smile is far from a given, that goes a long, long way.
My only quibbles are that the place needs a bit of investment: towels are plentiful, but they are all rather old and scratchy; kitchen implements are few and, again, old; couch is old and covered with a cloth that's seen better days.
Still, we'd be very happy to come back to Lumbarda, and would head straight for Pension Lovric.

Although we didn't stay at this property during our time in Croatia, we were fortunate enough to enjoy an excellent dinner here one evening. The restaurant isn't widely publicised in the resort and we stumbled upon it by accident. However, the meal was fabulous. We chose the 120kn (£14) set menu, from which you could chose meat or fish. This was great value for money as we started with homemade aperitifs - either Croatian limoncello (slightly different to the Italian version) or schnapps. This was followed by bread and vegetable soup (all home grown produce). The main course was fantastic - we had pork and chicken served with mashed potatoes and Swiss chard, courgette fritters and courgette puree. The portions were of a great size and the taste was lovely and fresh. Indeed, it was like eating home cooking in someone's home. Pudding was Croatian chocolate cake, which also tasted good. The meal was followed by a large cup of Turkish coffee, which we loved. We also enjoyed the Lovric white wine, which was the ideal accompaniment to our meal. The staff here were really friendly and very welcoming, as well as efficient. They gave us a gift at the end of the meal, which added a personal touch. This is certainly a must for every visitor to Lumbarda - it was surprisingly empty the day we visited, which was a total mystery to us as it was the best restaurant we visited during our stay here - I'd recommend that you try this one out.

I spend months researching my hoildays using many websites and sometimes I am just amazed how fabulous places are, well Pension Loveric is one of them. We came here by bus from Dubrovinic port Gruz. The bus tickets I bought onlins and the bus wad at 9.00 am a bit of a windy trip but views great snd a lovely stop for coffee. The bus then goes on the ferry across to Korcula Island, the bus then takes you to the town and a quick transfer on to the Lumbarda bus. This last leg took fifteen minutes and dropped us at then of the road up to the Pension. It was bliss looking out on to the little port, islands and mainland, the sea is so blue. The owner showef us to our apartment and it was so lovely, spacious clean and beautiful views from our huge balcony. The hotel is two minutes from a gorgeous swimming area. We cycled to a beach today but much prefer our local swimming area that has shade, quiiet and such clean sea. You can also walk to over five great restaurants for lunch. We have eaten twice at the Pension and again just such lovely homemade food. Breakfasts lovely eggs, bread, fresh fruit, cheese, yougurts and much more. This spot is idyllic if you are looking for a holiday in real Croatia come here. The Friday night food fayre in the town of Lumbarda was a culinary delight, fresh octopus on bbq and locals bringing baked products, just loved it. Off to wine festival in Lumbarda tonight to have a GRK fest. Owners make this place paradise. Thank you .

We stayed at Pension Lovric for three nights as part of a two week holiday on Croatia’s Dalmatian Coast, flying into Dubrovnik and out of Venice. Silvana and her team made us feel very welcome. The apartment, with balcony, overlooks the sea and is situated just a few minutes walk from Lumbarda town, and smooth white rocky beaches where you can sunbathe and jump straight into the blue Adriatic sea. Lumbarda is a lovely town with a local market one night each week where you can buy delicious seafood dishes and wine for an inexpensive dinner (Croatia is not cheap).
Korcula town is also beautiful, especially the old part with its fortresses on the coast and narrow white stone streets to explore, with shops, bars and restaurants.
We were even given a packed breakfast by Pension Lovric to take with us very early next morning for the catamaran in Korcula to take us to another island.
In Croatia, we stayed in apartments during our trip to make it more affordable. Generally these are very basic, but very clean. Bearing this in mind Pension Lovric rooms are nice the staff were very helpful and they have a restaurant too.
If you plan to travel from island to island in Croatia, information on things like ferry and catamaran times can only be got from ticket offices at the destination. From Dubrovnik to Mljet and from Mljet to Korcula you can only buy tickets on the day, not the day before. However from Korcula to Hvar, which is very busy, you have to buy the tickets the day before.
Travelling by boat and catamaran is a good way to see the Dalmatian Coast. We took an overnight ferry up to Rijeka from Stari Grad on Hvar, managing without a car for the trip, which can be done. Boats and buses are clean and always leave on time.
Rovinj (buses from Rijeka via Pula are more frequent than Rijeka-Rovinj) is a pretty city too, where you can hire bikes and cycle along two miles of coast with plenty of places to stop and swim. There are nice places to have a drink, though all the restaurants are so geared up for the tourist trade that meals are expensive. If your stay does occur during one of the town’s evening festivals, get a ticket for a seafood dinner and glass of wine, as it is just as delicious and much better value than the restaurants.
If you want to go somewhere really beautiful on the Dalmatian Coast, then book a trip to Mljet where you can hire bikes and cycle round the national park’s salt water lakes, as these are stunning and peaceful.

The Lovric Hotel has been exceptional both times we've visited. Silvana and her team took pains to tend our every need and whim. When we brought to her attention a concern, she fixed the problem promptly. Her bountiful, delicious dinners and house-made wines and specialty drinks were scrumptious -- always. Even dessert was good. A perfect place for a relaxing experience away from the high-traffic, fussy world.

If you refer to the ferry terminal in Korcula, it would be a 10-15 min taxi ride, you can also get a bus too which stops a couple of minutes walk away from Pension Lovric.
They have a little parking lot right next to the building, just down some stairs.
