We spent 4 days in paradise.Is really hard to find the words to describe our experince with this beautiful hotel and people who work there.It’s not just about the hotel it’s about the feeling.Hotel is beautiful,extremely clean and has everything you need for perfect vacation.It’s on the beautiful location right at the beach,rooms are really nice,prices really normal.Food in the hotel restaurant is top class.But all this is not the most important thing,the most important thing about this hotel is that from the moment you enter you feel like you came home.People who work there are big family and they also want you to feel part of that family. From the owner to the maid, everyone works as a team to make the guest feel like they belong there.I was there with my son and my dog(yes they are extremely pet friendly) and we were very sad when we had to leave but for sure we will be coming back. My most sincere recommendations for this hotel and the island of Krapanj, you stole my heart.Thank you ❤️

This hotel is a hidden gem. The facilities are good and the rooms comfortable but it is the service from the staff that makes the stay so good. Nothing was too much trouble - even a late night ferry drop off & pick up from the mainland after a pizza meal.

Third visit to this remarkable vacation place , "small resort". Hospitality of the staff is amazing (Nino, Mario, Lucija, Iva and all the others....) nice food in hotel restoran, lovely beach bar....no cars no motorbikes...you can come with boat as well. All in all very quiet place that we will keep coming back to.

Very nice place. The contact with the hotel was perfect. We were here with boat, the staff was very knowledgeable and very polite. From the hotel restaurant was a beautiful view. The restaurant was clear, the food were delicious with big portions. I recommend this hotel and restaurant for everyone. Nice beach with very clear water. We will come back here! Thank you. Maria

We never intended to stay on a Croatian Island, but somehow we found this wonderful hotel. Needed a boat to get to the island and landed on a private beach. Spent the day relaxing and enjoying the ambiance of this beach hotel.
The hotel was lovely, the staff excellent. We had a little problem at dinner due to language difficulty and mgr. that was inflexible, but it all worked out. Dinner ended up IK, we had the Prix Fixe Menu, breakfast was satisfactory.
If you want to experience beach life in Croatia, this hotel has it all.

Searching for a last minute Holiday and hearing so much about Croatia being a beautiful country to visit we decided was time for our first holiday in Croatia. Having spent a bit of time searching we were drawn to this Hotel as it was located on a car free island and seemed like a perfect destination for a relaxing break. Having booked we realised that the Hotel was quite a distance from the Airport, I emailed the Hotel and promptly had a reply from Milena offering to collect us from the Airport and take us straight to the Hotel for a very reasonable amount. We accepted the offer and on arriving at the Airport we were greeted by a smiling member of the Hotel staff to take us straight to the Hotel. Approximately a 45 minute journey and we arrives at the Hotel ferry that was waiting for us and a short crossing we were then greeted by the friendly Hotel manager (who was so helpful all through our stay,nothing was too much trouble)and taken to our room which Milena had kindly upgraded to a balcony room at no extra cost previously by email. From the time we arrived to the time we left the whole experience was Amazing,the room was lovely and spacious and spotlessly clean and kept so throughout the holiday with the daily maid service. The breakfast was of a high quality and so much choice with such friendly and helpful restaurant staff. We ate at the Hotel restaurant on two evenings which was great value and such lovely food with plenty of choice and something for everyone again the service was first class. The location of the hotel on the edge of the Island overlooking the sea is spectacular and the island itself is beautiful with such stunning views all around and the hotel has it's own private beach for lazing on the sun loungers or taking a swim in the beautiful clear water. It is lovely experience to be able to amble around the island without any cars racing past and take in a relaxing drink at one of the small bars relishing the atmosphere. A bus service runs from the nearby town into Sibenik for 11 kuna and this is a lovely town to explore especially the interesting old town and also from here you can take numerous boat tours or coaches for day trips all of which can be arranged at the Hotel. For us this was a first class experience and we are looking to return for another visit in the near future. We would like to thank everyone at the Hotel Spongiola for a memorable holiday and for going the extra mile in creating such a warm friendly atmosphere.

Stayed here with Strel Swimming trip and loved it. The hotel was clean and modern. My wood had a nice little balcony. The hotel staff was friendly and makes a lovely cappuccino. The food at the restaurant is very good. Much better than typical hotel food. The breakfast buffet is perfect and they will make you eggs or whatever you want in addition to the breads and yogurts and fruit and cheese. The beach in front of the hotel is also very nice. Nothing beats the waters of the Adriatic! Stunning.

We spent an excellent week in June swimming by day with Strel and resting in the peaceful surroundings at the Hotel Spongolia by night, a perfect combination. After a great breakfast Borut and Alexander of Strel took us out everyday on a small boat to wonderful locations for our swims - including Sibenik and the beautiful Krka falls. The hotel then took over the care again in the evening! Niño and his staff were helpful, kind and cheerful. The rooms were large and very comfortable, a good place to rest after the exertions of the day! The public rooms and terrace were lovely and a perfect setting for pre dinner drinks or even to dine on a balmy evening? The food was very very good with lots of fresh produce and delicious fish! We stayed on a few nights after our swimming holiday had finished and wished we could have stayed longer. I shall definitely go back to Krapanj and Hotel Spongiola in the near future!

I was part of the Strel Swimming Adventures tour of the Dalmatia islands in June 2011. Our base for the week was Hotel Spongiola on Krapanj, which provided excellent accommodation. Comfortable rooms, excellent meals and friendly staff. A perfect place to stay after a long day's swimming.

We emailed Hotel Spongiola directly and they organised the transfer from Split airport to hotel and return to airport. It was a very comfortable car, very clean and the lady who picked us up was an excellent driver

Namely, the hotel has its own parking on the mainland, in Brodarica, as well as hotel boat which can transport you on the mainland and opposite whenever you prefer, just call us on our hotel telephone number.
