Not just an another Inn, but a really lovely well appointed property in the heart of a lovely village. Easy to find and clean and tidy, full of character and lovely , food, good friendly staff and comfortable room. What more can I say? Good value for money.

Lovely stay at the Bull.. The building is full of character and has been used as an inn since the 1500s, very friendly staff (who gave me the history!), great atmosphere, excellent breakfast (rarely do I eat a hotel breakfast but didn't leave a thing!) highly recommended. Thank you!

The whole Inn was booked 10 months in advanced and reserved through Booking.com for every room and the apartment for guests attending a wedding. Afterwards we undertook a preliminary visit in February (7 months before the wedding) and checked out the location and facilities (rooms small and rather noisy from their party function room and disco on site but not... We booked the 2-bedroomed apartment which is located away from the main pub building. We were very impressed with the size, cleanliness and accommodation offered. The main reception room/kitchen was much bigger than expected - we never believe the photos and wonder if they were taken with a fish eye but this time they were a true reflection! Fully functional... More

One sunny afternoon I walked with my two black Labradors and a Blenheim cavalier into the town centre. I wanted a drink and lunch, and chose the Old Bull Inn because I knew they welcomed dogs and because I used to frequent the place when I was younger. It was a lovely sunny day, and I chose a table outside... More

Stayed here on Thursday night (the evening before my sisters wedding which was held about 10 minutes away from the hotel). Between us, there were a total of 6 rooms booked for our group. When we arrived to our room, there was a very strange smell in there (which did smell exactly like "BO") but we opened the window and... More

We had the pleasure of being a guest at our friends Golden wedding lunch. The food was excellent, very well presented and delicious. The waiting staff were polite, efficient and friendly. Would gladly recommend this delightful restaurant.

Double en-suite with breakfast £89.00 per room. It looks like a smart hotel but the bedroom was disappointingly compact. I thought perhaps we had a cheaper one but I see it is the standard price. Breakfast was good - efficient, friendly service, range of cereals and fruit as well as full English . We would probably come again if we... More

I've got to be honest, when we parked up in the little car park I wasn't expecting to be impressed - however, the staff were lovely, welcoming and friendly. I was a little disappointed with the size of the double room - as two 6 foot tall people, I knew there'd be trouble! The room was very small for a... More

Note: We only ate here. We did not stay in accommodation. On a warmish late summer lunchtime, I was told about this place by a friend. We travelled the short distance here after having visited the Fitzwilliam Museum in Cambridge. Light bites or full meals eaten in the pretty courtyard under shady umbrellas served by helpful staff. You can of... More
