My husband and I spent two wonderful nights at the Slaughers Manor House Hotel in Lower Slaughter. The hotel is a beautiful property in the centre of a charming Cotswolds village. On the first night that we stayed, we enjoyed the seven course tasting menu in the restaurant. Each dish was more delightful than the last and the service was... More

We took the family for a couple of days over our 65th wedding anniversary. The manor is lovely, with a tennis court and croquet court, and the dinners and breakfasts were excellent . The family enjoyed the hotel, walking round the Slaughters and driving around the Cotswolds. The sun was out and we could not have had a nicer time.

Superb location and setting. Food and rooms excellent. Tasting menu was adventurous and delightful. Service in the restaurant very good too. However, need to get the lounge service to match exacting standards required at these prices. Ideal for a gastronomic, romantic couples' experience.

It was a beautiful day and four of us stopped by for lunch. Dean kindly showed us around the facilities, explained the history and we viewed one of the stunning garden rooms with a hot tub. The decor is stunning everywhere and one day I would love to come back and stay 2 nights. Thank you very much Dean and... More

While touring the Cotswold, we stayed two nights in this renovated 'Manor House' in Lower Slaughter...there are two buildings, one which is the main 'manor' including the dining room while the other is lodging only....our room was extremely beautifully appointed with plenty of space...very clean, comfy bed...nice bathroom...could not access the 'free' wi-fi from the room so had to step... All the food we had was very good. It was technically excellent and used lots of local produce. The chef and his team are clearly top notch. The hotel staff are polite, but transactional: generally, with the exception of one of two of the waitresses in the main restaurant, they lacked warmth. The room rate was a little high too... More

Exceptional experience for that special event. Staff are very attentive but not obtrusive and give exceptional service. This was our fifth visit over a thirty year period and the hotel is now better than ever. We have never been disappointed by the Manor House.

A very relaxed stay in a beautiful setting. The staff in particular are warm, friendly and extremely helpful. We did push the boat out in terms of cost but it was value in terms of being a lovely place to relax. The restaurant tasting menu was great fun and absolutely delicious, flavours were stunning. Thank you to all.

Set in a beautiful village of lower slaughter, the entrance and frontage impresses. The restaurant was accessed to the side. We had great attention for service as we were only diners at this time on a Friday. The set lunch is a steal 26.50 for 3 courses, you get 5 as there is pre starter and pre dessert. The food is...
