We booked here last minute for one night for a birthday treat. I had a few issues with booking online and Beth was so helpful in getting things sorted. When we arrived, Alicia on the desk was lovely and we found ourselves in Lockyer, one of the cottages, which was such a lovely surprise. The accommodation was clean and well appointed and we felt immediately relaxed. We enjoyed a delicious Sunday lunch by the fire and again, all the staff were wonderful and attentive without being overbearing. We had a walk around the area and retreated to our gorgeous cottage to chill out. Room service was a dream and so efficient. We had such a lovely relaxing evening, thank you to all.
Had a great weekend at the Slaughters Country Inn. Great location, picturesque and close to lovely quaint villages. The hotel has friendly efficient staff and great food. Who would want anything more for a weekend away.
Despite Covid limitations, a great stay in a wonderful location. Wonderful roaring fires. Great service. Good food especially breakfasts. Look forward to going there again when Covid does not impinge on all operations
We came just for lunch after a long walk around the wardens way. It was very tasty with great service. Would recommend the white chocolate mousse in particular, although everything was very very nice.
Stayed here for four nights on a recent 4 nights for price of 3 deal and stayed in one of the cottages for the first time which was spacious and comfortable and spotlessly clean Breakfast you are spoilt for choice and the quality of the cooked choices are good We ate in the restaurant for 2 nights and again faultless only complaint having been coming here for several years is that spiced dishes are creeping onto the menu which we don’t like The staff as always are fantastic and can’t do enough for you Can’t wait for our return in February
