I love this hotel, I would definitely come back here on my next visit. Excellent food, comfortable bed, roomy. I love the bath tub experience. A little piece of heaven, slow country life. Retired couple from USA.

My partner and I stayed here for one night for his birthday. The hotel and it's surroundings were stunning! The staff were friendly and helpful and the room was comfortable. The food was lovely but there wasn't much choice on the menu, especially for vegetarians. Other than the fire alarm going off in the early hours (at least we know... More

This is the fourth time we have visited this Inn and we love it. This time we received an upgrade to a cottage and it was just perfect. A small cosy, well furnished lounge, with stairs to a bedroom and bathroom. The food was excellent although not an extensive menu.Friendly welcoming staff on reception and in the bar/restaurant. We have... More

The welcome was certainly 5 star and first impressions were good. The accommodation was very clean and comfortable but beginning to look a little worn. The complimentary tea, coffee and bicuits in the room were a bit boring, I have stayed in lesser places recently with a more interesting selection, one actually had a Nespresso machine, another, a fine selection... We stayed for two night's and thoroughly enjoyed this Inn. Wonderfully updated and comfortable rooms. Superb breakfast offering each day and a very nice pub meal one night. Lots to do and see in the area. Bourton-on-the-Water a 30 minute walk away and Upper Slaughter trail only 15 minutes. Would highly recommend though could be somewhat expensive.

Overall a very nice hotel with friendly and helpful staff and the food was very good. Our room was a bit noisy, you can hear the people in the room above walking around and the hotel bins are at the back. This can be a problem if wanting to relax in your room. Parking can be a problem at peak... More

Our family reunion of six adults had just thoroughly enjoyed the lovely walk from Lower to Upper Slaughter and the gorgeous surrounding countryside. Possibly the prettiest part of the North Cotswolds? We had 'discovered' the Inn before setting off and had booked a table in the bar area for our return. This is an impressive looking Inn complex and is... More

We could stay up graded room and that was really excellent. Dinner in the garden was very nice atmosphere and quite reasonable price. My wife and I could spend wonderful time in this hotel. I would like to stay again in future.

Stayed in August 2016 . Beautiful setting. The Slaughters are simply stunning- quintessential English villages . Picture postcard stuff . Stayed in Baldwins Bec . Lovely spacious rooms and very comfy beds . TVs in every room . Fantastic shower and everything you could need for a short stay . Fairly pricey but worth it in my opinion. Very friendly... More
