Hotel's Favorite
Family of 2 adults and 2 children (6&2). We had the most amazing holiday, everything was perfect! The hotel is immaculately clean, food was amazing, different every night with plenty of choice. Only repetitive if you choose the same things. The pools were fantastic with plenty going on if you want to join in. We spent time around each of the pools and the beach and we all loved every minute of it! As it got busier you do need to get up early for sun beds but we never struggled.
One of the best hotels we have ever stayed in & would definitely recommend!
Only down fall is the kids club isn’t a sign in/ out so not as safe as some others we have used as the children and parents etc can just wander in and out as they please. And two trampolines in the park were a bit dodgy but this didn’t cause any issues for us and was till one of the best holidays we have had.

We spent two weeks in this hotel in the first half of November 2020. We rate the hotel very highly. It is difficult to find something that is not there as it is described in the hotel offer. Everything is as it should be. We especially appreciate the efforts of the hotel staff to ensure the safety of guests due to the Covid -19 pandemic. But, unfortunately, there are two things we cannot agree with and which we must oppose:
First of all, we believe that the table linen in the restaurant should be changed to clean after each guest. But we have seen many times that they have not changed even after each meal. It happened that the same dirty tablecloths were for both breakfast and dinner, which is unacceptable in a hotel of this class. We want to believe that this is a temporary neglect and is due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
Secondly, very poor WiFi signal both in rooms and public areas of the hotel - not always, but very often.
We can recommend this hotel to everyone

I can honestly say this was my best holiday I’ve had. I went end of June for 2 weeks with my mum and sister. The hotel itself is amazing it really does look like a palace, very big clean and nicely decorated. All the staff is so friendly and helpful, when we arrived the bell boys helped straight away. We stayed on 5th floor where there’s a downstairs and upstairs. The room itself is spacious literally everything you need is there. The cleaners on 5th floor was so friendly especially Suzan, she was the one who cleaned our room always kept it clean and tidy. A lot of people complained about the same food over and over again, but I can honestly say whatever food you can think of they literally had from meat, chicken, fish they had a variety of food and desserts. Where people say there’s a long que, Yh there is a long que but it’s only for the chips I don’t see why people don’t get there food first then come back for the chips then you won’t need to wait in the que. My sister and 2 other guests from the hotel had gluten allergy, a chef called Mustafa he helped a lot. Whatever food or desert my sister wanted he made it gluten free for her which helped a lot. He was so friendly and always willing to help. We mainly sat outside and as the hotel started to get busy on our last week all the waiters there always helped. They always helped us finding a table and soon as we sat down they offered us drinks. Moving on to the swimming pools theres a adults only pool which is nice and quiet a kids pool where the kids play, the normal big pool and a pool where there’s slides. All the life guards are helpful especially ali and Berkay they where my favourite, they work really well together and is good with kids. The beach is always kept clean. The guy that keeps the beach clean, he was very helpful always helping us find beds. Al the guys at the bars by the beach and pool is helpful and friendly, I really like the 2 on the skates. My favourite was seymen he makes the best cocktails, also smiling and joking with customers and does his best when he does cocktails. He’s always skating around offering drinks talking with customers making them laugh. Lastly the animation team, where can I start with the animation team like they where the best. Tunco mami and kobi was my favourite, at this hotel you will never get bored there’s entertainment for all age group from morning to night, and even after the night time show 10 clock there’s a meet up at the reception where they take you to the club. Overall this hotel I can honestly say was the best I highly recommend it, it’s worth every penny you spend. The location is not so bad there’s a small shopping place walking distance or you can take a cab and go to a bigger shopping place. There’s always something to do at this hotel everyone is so friendly helpful and makes you enjoy your holiday.

This hotel looks pretty impressive when you arrive, the room we booked was on the 5th floor and had a lovely sea view with a staircase up to a second bedroom and bathroom for the kids. The room had a mini bar on each floor which was supposed to be filled daily…. This was not done it took 4 days and 3 phone calls to reception and my husband actually asking at reception before someone reluctantly half filled the first mini bar but still left the kids one empty, we had to go downstairs to the restaurant to get water to brush our teeth. The kettle with coffee sachets was great but they only gave us 1 paper cup so my husband had to wait for me to use it first 😂. We had been given one small sheet that was smaller than the actual bed size and at the end of October it got a bit chilly at night on one night I slept in a jumper, there was no blanket in the wardrobe.
The spiral staircases on this top floor need to be tightened they make so much noise it’s like an alarm clock first thing in the morning when your neighbours wake up.
I must add the view from the room was beautiful and the balcony was huge but the stench of sewers that guffs up there is foul, we tried to play cards out there but it’s not a nice experience.
The bar staff are great they are really friendly and try to make whatever drinks you want as long as it consists of basic vodka gin or Malibu, cocktails menu is available and can be nice depending on which barman serves you. Tip your barman and he will remember you all week and be ready to refill your drink.
There is a kids club but I refuse to leave my 6 year old in a kids club that doesn’t require you to sign the kids in or give your details/ room number or even the child’s name, the kids are free to come and go as they pleased which to me is not a safe place to leave them.
Plenty of space around the pools but if you prefer to spend your holiday covid free I would avoid the beach there is zero social distancing, we were shocked to see how crammed together the rows of sun beds had been placed.
The toilets in the pool areas are not regularly cleaned someone had made a mess in one of the toilet cubicles and a lot of the people around the pool noticed it was still there days later, the soap dispensers needed refilling. If you spilled a drink by your sun bed the sticky mess was still there the next day and had not been cleaned.
Don’t expect to be able to keep your room on… the hotel ignored an email we sent weeks before our holiday enquiring about it, we had to check out at 12 and wasn’t being picked up until 6.30 we asked to pay for a room but just got a straight NO the guy didn’t even check for us he just said the whole hotel was full which was not true 🤷🏻♀️

Good points first. The hotel structure is beautiful and location is about 20 min drive to the central part of Alanya. Bad points. This hotel is a 3 star. Turkey’s hotel ratings are very different from the UK. The rooms were not cleaned and when we complained they sent someone who threw water from a bottle on the floor and then wiped with a dirty towel. Our housekeeper then left us a note on the bed saying ‘please keep the room clean”. It wasn’t clean in the first instance and was never cleaned for the 2 weeks. Hotel kept asking for Euros for extras and would calculate the price of things based on the Euro exchange rate on the day. In fact all of Alanya did this. The food in the restaurant was okay but did not change as the days went by. You will not be seated at the main dining buffet style room and will have to deal with long lines to even get a coffee and tea in the morning. This hotel offerers a la carte restaurants. We booked one which cost £30 approx for 3 adults. When we arrived to the restaurant there was sushi on our table, which was hot and surrounded by flies. The a la carte they were advertising was a terrible set menu that they couldn’t even be bothered to wait till you arrive to serve you, it will be on your table already. Got my refund, which was a long process of having to speak to a senior manager. Getting a seat at the pool, wake up at 6:30am and maybe you will but even then people have the same idea and leave their towels on the loungers. Clean towels were not given every day and ones left after house cleaning were dirty. We paid over £4k for 2 weeks for a 2 bedroom family suite all inclusive. We ate out most nights. This hotel is not worth the price tag. Drinks were watered down and using lifts be prepared to wait excessively. No room service. Most of the staff were pleasant but house keeping terrible.

Hotel rooms are nice except a smell of sewage running through the hotel especially toilets and bathrooms, pools are good water park is also good for kids, beach isn’t very nice at staff constantly try and sell you extras which are a total waste of money as we paid £40 each for quad biking we were told 90 mins riding we got 1 hour at a push also bar staff, cleaning staff, lifeguards and entertainment team were so helpful and friendly however we complained about the sewage smell 3 times in 1 night the manager on night shift told me he would send someone to spray the room which lasted 10 minutes then we tried again he said come down in the morning. The smell then became worse and we were told to wait again till morning and once it became morning nothing was done about it and had to deal with this for 6 days. Booked the Italian restaurant which was very nice and had to pay £14 booking fee at reception and I payed with £20 note and was told to come back later for change I tried to get my £6 change two more times and was told they had no change so didn’t end up getting the change. Overall average hotel nice staff apart from receptionists who are rude and patronising as we were younger than most couples but overall alanya is lovely and would return but never to this hotel. Also the food is free as it’s bang average.

We have just returned from a weeks stay at the Haydarpasha Palace. From start to finish this was absolutely amazing.
The hotel really is something else. Spotlessly clean every day the staff work extremely hard to keep up 5 star levels of cleanliness. You have little electric switches inside your room to indicate on the door panel outside whether you want your room cleaned that day, if you require any maintenance issues or simply don’t want to be disturbed. The maid service was great and left cute little towel animals on our childrens beds each day. The mini bar in your room is free and is filled with cokes, fantas, beers, juice and waters each day which we found a very nice touch. The pools are fab and the hotel team ensure they’re kept clean at all times. There’s lots of bars serving food and drinks pretty much all day and the hotel restaurant was amazing. We found that going early when it opened at 6:30pm was much easier than an hour later when it was like a stampede to get food! There’s so much food available it’s unreal. Anyone who complains about the selection of food here is absolutely crazy. You name it they have it and lots of it!!!
We never had any issues getting sun loungers each day but we did get up around 7am to choose where we wanted to be. That seems to be the consensus, if you want the best areas by the pool you get up early and get your towels down. We did see a few people coming down around 11:30am who couldn't get any sun beds until the poolside team moved a few around for them.
The kids splash areas are great and our kids loved them! There was always a lifeguard in place and kept a watch all the time.
The only downside was the number of inflatable rings available at the slides area. They were like gold dust to get your hands on them.
The kids animation team were fab!! Our kids didn’t want to go to the kids club this year, being 11 they didn’t think there were many other children going their age. What we saw of the animation team around the pool and at the mini disco they worked super hard every day and got everyone involved in the fun and games. Each day they have a water aerobics session and adult pool games in the morning then Zumba and other games in the afternoon.
The evening poolside parties they do are next level!!! We rocked up and didn’t expect much but boy were we surprised!!!! The effort that went into them is absolutely amazing! The decorations, the laser lights, the dj (amazing), the dancers and the whole atmosphere was electric! We felt like we were in Ibiza!! Such a great vibe.
We had an absolutely amazing week and will definitely be coming back again!!

We have just come home from a ten day family break. We went with our large outer family as a group,
Ages ranging from 1 to adults.
Aesthetically the hotel is beautiful, spacious, luxurious looking, beautiful decor. It really looks special.
In the evening the hotel lit up with lights looks amazing.
The room we had was a large family room and it was very spacious, the shower was huge with a smaller head shower and a huge powerful overhead shower. The beds were super comfy and the Aircon was great.
The mini fridge was stocked up daily with drinks and plenty of room for bits brought from outside the hotel too.
The absolute star of our stay was the beautiful housekeeper (we were room 4106 floor 4) she was the nicest, kindest and very hardworking woman.
Everyday our room was done beautifully, amazing displays made out of towels on our beds, fresh clean room. When my child was unwell she was so kind when we had lots of dirty bedding.
Genuinely she went above and beyond.
The doormen and lots of the waiters/barstaff were also lovely, great interaction with the children, attentive and genuinely great customer service and hosting.
The food was good. Some was better than others, but so much choice.
The salad bar was fresh, bbq meats every night, fresh fish cooked to order lots of stuff such as bread, pide (Turkish pizza) pancakes etc being made fresh throughout each dinner service which you could see.
The puddings are another level.. they are amazing! So many varieties of cake, pudding pots, baklava, Ice cream really good. The patisserie has coffee and amazing cakes to throughout the day.
We didn't do many activities or evening entertainment so didn't interact with the entertainment staff but they seemed present and lively.
We went too an African arobatics show which was great.
Always seemed to be plenty of more party evening events.
The pool was gorgeous and lots of sunbeds although get taken quickly so really need too get them early but this is a common hotel thing I think.
Indoor pool is lovely and calm.
Me and my daughter went to the Turkish bath (adult session 50 euros and child free!) We had basic Turkish bath with sauna bubble massage and exfoliation and I had a facial and her a chocolate mask. It was lovely and a great experience. The facial was particularly good.
All in all we throughly enjoyed.
Beautiful hotel, some beautiful staff and a lovely country.
A great thing we found was kleopatra beach in alanya (around 300/400 lira for a taxi 20mins away)
It's beautiful clear warm waters and cleaner sand (some more shingle parts but deffo more sandy than hotel beach)
Here was some beautiful restaurants and an amazing supermarket (migros)
Amazingly cheap and lovely! Highly recommended.

Stayed at Haydarpasha Palace for a week in Aug-22 and wanted to provide a genuine review for future potential visitors.
Good points:
1. Amazing building and architecture.
2. Family room was perfect in terms of size and practicality.
3. Swimming pools and slides ideal even for non-swimmers due to not being too deep.
4. Generally service / food was good from waiters / waitresses.
5. The games room and fitness centers were a bonus and had everything you could want.
Bad points:
1. Music blaring outside family rooms until midnight so no chance of an early night.
2. No control over sunbeds being reserved and being unused the whole day. Unless you wake up at 6 in the morning you won’t be getting one and even then they are cramped next to one another.
3. Cleaning of rooms basic at best and maintenance issues arise behind the initial good impression.
4. No personable service from management or reception. For eg. charging £60 for additional 3 hours of room still being available following midday check out with flights being in the evening. No negotiating and no goodwill or care / compassion. Just wanted to process guests in and out asap.
5. Beach quite messy and dirty.
6. Entertainment left a lot to be desired.
7. Hotel in the middle of nowhere with not a lot to do outside of it unless you pay for a cab to drive you to Alanya city which is £30 each way.
8. Hotel shop absolute rip off.
9. No control of visitors who can do as they please no matter how rude.
All in all average at best and definitely was not worth the cost of the 7 night stay. Hope you find this genuine review useful. Absolutely possible to have a good time but don’t expect anything close to a 5* experience.

We arrived early hours of the morning, the man at reception was very helpful and cheery, not much food on offer as it was very late so that was a bit disappointing, the pools are so clean and beautiful, my daughter loved the kids pool, the entertainment was good but started to get a bit repetitive, also the kids disco in the evening was the same every night. The food was lovely and lots to choose from, other guests were getting served before us and were very rude, also at the bars other guests didn’t understand social distancing, these were mainly Russians. The staff wasn’t very good at English so that was hard to explain that I wanted a rum and coke and I got a coke on its own, this happened twice. All in all the hotel and staff were great xxx

The hotel is closed at this time, it reopens in March for next year so the pools most likely wouldn't be available
