Just thought I’d review this beautiful Hotel , My wife and I are currently into our second week here and have got to say this hotel and all of its staff are simply amazing , everyone from security to cleaning to waiting staff to bar staff , reception staff, managers of all areas are always welcoming and very friendly and smiling , would recommend you try this hotel you will never be disapointed with the service on offer , We are currently in room 519 although not a sea view room it is first class and a credit to the cleaning personnel , May I personally thank each and everyone of your staff who are currently working here and should be commended by your highest manager for a first class service they have given us here, hopefully I will get the chance in the coming years to holiday here once again , Once again many thanks to you all , Gordon and Sandra Cutmore

Well first day at Selene Beach. Room is large and comfortable. No bath. Arrived late so left room for breakfast at 8.30am. Not ONE sunbed left without a towel!! I just knew this would be the scenario! So I had to lay on the grass, which by the way, hasn’t been cut for what looks like weeks!! The music blasts out, so no relaxing by the pool. It’s sooo loud. Very disappointed. After speaking to the front desk explaining that the 2 of us had no where to lay, nothing was done. They said they remove towels … complete rubbish! So if you’re hoping for a chilled out week…… don’t come here!!

Excellent hotel, about 1 hour 15 mins by taxi from airport. We arrived at 4.30am and were promptly shown to our room 616 which was excellent, massive but we did get a rear corner suite which was all we could book at the time. The pool is massive with great submerged sun loungers, beach is nice although not massive. There seems to be a lot of disagreement about the food, but we always found something nice to eat in the main restaurant, the snack/pool bar is excellent as is the patisserie (waffles are excellent) Entertainment! Probably the best all inclusive entertainment I’ve ever seen something every night. Live music, beach and pool parties, eighties night with DJ,s Big Neck & Little Neck! The staff are so polite and helpful, particular mention to Maryiam round the pool who works endlessly all day keeping you refreshed! Mustaffa in the pool bar who ran round al night looking after everyone and Turgu at reception who sorted out late check out. One negative point watch the shower floor as it can be very slippy, just chuck a hand towel down! We met some great people there who really made the holiday, we also met the kitties who couldn’t stop eating! Outside of hotel there isn’t much, no bars, a few restaurants, plenty of tourist type shops. If you want to go to Alanya it’s about 40 mins on the Dolmus from the end of the road, I personally found it far to touristy and hot so couldn’t wait to get back to hotel. Overall great hotel, great staff and made some great friends.

The transfer time took approx 1 hour 40 mins from Antalya airport, but this was no problem at all! We were greeted on arrival by Yana who was very efficient and friendly. We immediately noticed how clean the hotel was, including the pool area. The hotel is in a relatively quiet area but has a variety of shops and a bazaar about a 2 minute walk away and has a lovely on-site beach. We had a room on the first floor that was very spacious with a big balcony. Fully stocked fridge with drinks and a fruit platter on arrival was a lovely gesture. However more attention could have been put into the cleaning of our room and there was an awful smell from the drain in the bathroom everyday. Sunbeds around the pool were limited if you tried getting one after 9am but there were always plenty available within the hotels section of the beach and often later in the afternoon spaces became available again around the pool so this isn’t much of an issue. Pool is kept lovely and cleaned everyday and staff even walk around the pool asking if you would like any drinks! On a Monday night the hotel host a pool party which was amazing with huge inflatables and a DJ setup. The main restaurant was always clean and everything looked well presented, however lacked options if you don’t eat fish and are a fussier eater, but there was always something to eat! The snack bar was great, open most of the day with pizzas made fresh to order and it also reopened from 11pm serving a limited menu such as burgers and chips etc… Patisserie inside the hotel was our favourite, lovely variety of cakes and freshly made waffles! A fantastic range of iced coffees which I believe is a new addition in the patisserie too! The pool bar has a good selection of drinks however you must pay for anything branded or more premium cocktails, as only 4 cocktails are actually on the all inclusive. The staff are all a credit to the hotel! Hatice & Melissa working in the patisserie serving iced coffees and waffles were super friendly and efficient everyday! Meryem was very attentive serving drinks around the pool and deserves extra credit for all of her hard work and kindness! We will definitely be returning to the Selene Beach and would 100% recommend staying here!

We visited Selene Beach in August 2022 for a week. The hotel was lovely - clean, well maintained, good facilities. The pool was fantastic, the staff without fail were helpful and welcoming, and the food was varied and very tasty. The drinks were excellent, premium spirits, proper glasses, and widely available. The spa was fantastic - calming and relaxing, brilliant staff, excellent massages. All of the staff were kind and supportive of the different needs of our party, and made us feel very welcome and looked after.

We visited the Selene beach hotel with my in laws for 11 nights We’d had concerns from previous reviews regarding the food and food temperature After a long transfer from the airport we arrived at the hotel about 11pm, we weren’t offered a drink but there was a juice dispenser so we helped ourselves, we weren’t offered food but did get asked if we wanted to upgrade our room to sea view, £120 but did not bother It was my husbands birthday that day and they had put a card, wine and fruit platter in the room which was a nice touch There is the battle for the sun Ed’s in a morning but as I’m an early riser for a morning swim it was ok for us Breakfast is very good with omelettes made to order, lots of choice breads, cereals, fruits cheeses etc Lunch and evening meal are very similar, the soups are beautiful, stews are served every day, chips, veg, and other meats on the grill The issue with the undercooked meat and food temp has been rectified and the head chef constantly checks hot plate temperature and foods The snack bar food was good but sometimes you had to wait a while for it and it wasn’t always consistent The music around the pool could be classed as for the younger generation but was good to listen to something Evening entertainment was every night. Pool party, beach party or live singers which was typical of hotel entertainment The staff are amazing, the girls in the coffee shop always happy and smiling, the waiters on an evening first class. One even got me a pen and paper to write down peoples song requests Overall we had s really good stay but just not quite 5 stars Would I return well maybe, we do like to go out to their bars/restaurants during our holiday and that was not possible Would I recommend here DEFINITELY

We have just returned from two weeks at the Selene and cannot believe some of the negative reviews! The hotel is spotlessly clean thanks to an army of workers who ensure there is nothing out of place. A glass was smashed by the pool and a cleaner arrived immediately to ensure it was cleaned up, despite the person who smashed it not bothering to get off their lounger and just sat there and laughed! Staff work tirelessly to cater for your needs. Meryem at the pool was fantastic and worked so hard to provide everyone with drinks in extreme heat all day and Berna at the pool restaurant always had a smile and made sure you had everything you wanted. They are a credit to the hotel! Thank you! Rooms: We had a land facing room but you have the option to upgrade to a sea view on arrival. The rooms are large and well maintained with a large bathroom and huge shower. Robes, slippers and toiletries are provided. The rooms are also spotless and we looked forward to the daily decorations left on our bed by the maid ranging from an elephant, swan and cobra amongst others! Food: the hotel has to cater for multiple nationalities and it seemed that it was just the Brits moaning about the choices! The restaurant has plenty of choice from soups, stews, grilled meat and fish, salads, pasta, breads and pastries. The Turkish theme night is the best with cocktails and traditional food that was delicious. There is a patisserie that is open from 12-6 pm that offers a selection of cakes, pastries, waffles and ice creams and the ladies who serve there are lovely. The pool bar does snacks such as pizzas, koftas, burgers, pasta so there is something for everyone! You also get one a la carte visit which includes, soup, a Turkish wrap, mezze and salad and the options of steak, curry or sea bass. There are lovely views at sunset there from the terrace. You won’t get a “full English” as you’re in Turkey, if you want that, you’re best off holidaying in Spain! Entertainment: what is great about this is that the animation team are not pushy but provide a range of activities from yoga, Zumba, darts, aerobics and Jenga. Every other day you have a dance/ acrobatic troupe visit the pool to get everyone in the party mood! Mondays and Thursdays are the pool and beach party nights which are fabulous! We thought the live music was fine in the evenings and everyone was up and dancing, again, nothing to complain about! Spa: we didn’t use the spa but Ekrem is a perfect gentleman and isn’t pushy. We will miss our chats with him! Beach: the beach is shared with other hotels. Shoes are advisable to get in the water but the water is clear and warm. Water sports are available and my sons did the parasailing which they enjoyed. Shopping: The hotel has a shop that is reasonable, a bag shop and a hairdresser. My hubby had a haircut there and it was a good price and probably the best cut he’s had in ages. We would recommend a visit. There’s a large bazaar just outside the hotel for all your shopping and fakes and a pharmacy. Sila restaurant is also worth a visit if you fancy eating out or watching sport. The bus to Alanya is one euro and there is lots to see and do there. We visited the castle and Dim Caves and did a boat trip from the harbour. We would recommend this hotel to couples for a relaxed holiday. The staff are fantastic, the hotel is very clean and you will have a fabulous time. Thank you to all at the Selene Beach for all your hard work in making our visit memorable. Teşekkürler!

Lovely week long stay in Selena. The hotel is beautiful and everywhere is spotlessly clean. Rooms are spacious with plenty of storage. Kettle, fridge and tea/coffee provided daily. Cleaners do a fantastic job and the room was always spotless. I had booked a normal room and when I checked in we had a sea view room which was lovely. It was my daughters birthday the day we arrived and fruit and wine were left for us which was lovely. We enjoyed the food and found there was always something we enjoyed and the hotel did well catering for the different tastes of all nationalities. Breakfast- plenty of choice, omelettes freshly made to order were delicious As were the pancakes. We didn’t eat lunch in the restaurant during our stay as we enjoyed the snack bar. Tried the burgers, pizza and pasta and everything was lovely. There is a bbq 5-6pm where they bbq meat and serve it on bread with salad. There is also a patisserie with a large selection of cakes, sandwiches and coffees and freshly made waffles. Dinner- we ate 4 times and there was a different theme on each. Eg Mexican, fish, Turkish. Snack bar serves again from 11pm so a few times we ate there on an evening as we were full from bbq and cake! Every member of staff is a credit to the hotel. Always smiling and friendly and extremely hard working. I cannot single anyone out as they were all great. The only slight disappointment was evening entertainment a few nights. There are several hotels and on an evening they all have their own entertainment so it gets really loud. It does stop at 1130pm but some nights we wanted to sit on the balcony but the noise from all the hotels was really loud. The hotel did put on a pool party and a beach party which they made a great effort with and we enjoyed the band last night (5/8). We didn’t leave the hotel so can’t comment on any surrounding bars shops etc. There is a shop selling toiletries, drinks, snacks In the hotel and a handbag shop and hairdresser (he always had customers In and prices were really good). Sunbeds- there’s beds around the pool, on the grassy area and on the beach. We got beds each day as I seemed to wake about 7. If you want front row around the pool you will need to be up and out for about 7. If you aren’t bothered there were beds available on the grass 930/10am. We had a really enjoyable stay here
