We arrived early hours of the morning the reversion staff are amazing took our bags up to the room and let us know there is food n till 7am and a bar open till 7am , asked for extra blankets and pillows brought up within 10 mins of our arrival to the room , each member of staff or very friendly and welcoming
The hotel is bueatiful , the Marin is one of the quieter Eftailas but still great for families as you have access to the island with slides ,zip lines ,parks rides everhing you can think of is on the island and the shops omg the shops in the hotel and an the island are amazing so much choice
Yes not everything is included with the all inclusive drinks wise but you can easily make your own cocktails with the juice machine which I did cherry and lemon juice with vodka is amazing , your basic alcoholic drinks are included vodka gin whisky beer and red and red and white wine.
The cocktail bar is extra but worth it and not to badly priced around 8-10 euros a cocktail they also take British money too which works out cheaper ;)

Eftaila island is a must drinks and food are included in some bars and restaurants with jet 2 and they do amazing waffles with chocolate I miss them

The disco bar on the island highly recommend I spent every night there and the djs are awesome my partner made a pal for life with one ☺️ the cocktail bar there is extra but worth it and the sparklers are a great addition

Stayed for 10 nights as a family of 4 adults and 2 children and had a great time, we'd originally booked to stay in the Village hotel however we're offered to upgrade to Marin upon check in, room in Village was fine however the Marin offers 24 hour all inclusive, an a la carte meal for free and no charge for using the safe etc so was worth the £100 to move hotel. Upon moving we then upgraded to a deluxe 2 bed swim up room (£450) and it made the holiday. The room was amazing, great air con, very clean, actual double beds not the pushed together ones other hotels provide but the private terrace and swim up pool was the best part, it was high 40's for our holiday so being able to go into the air-conditioning without walking from the main pool and allowing the kids to go inside or into shade without us missing out on the sun, worth every penny. The hotel itself is great, very clean, helpful staff and food/drinks 24/. Admittedly the main restaurant can be repetitive but the food is fresh and we all found something we liked. The main downside to the restaurant is the heat, the temperature surrounding the grill area when queuing is unbearable and the restaurant is the least air conditioned part of the hotel so we found we ate fast and left. Food on the island is great during the day, pizzas, jacket potatoes, salad, meats and the kids adored the chocolate covered waffles. All inclusive isn't everything here, cocktails start at 8 euro, orange juice is 1 euro but overall you can get fizzy drinks, local beer, spirits, juice and water for free and they were all fine. Free lollies between 2-4pm by pool and on island. The island is great for the kids pools and water slides, we really enjoyed it. Wear crocs/pool shoes for sea as it's rocky but incredible. Would go back.

Visited this hotel at the end of August/September. Starting with the positive - Fresh rooms and we were upgraded for free when we arrived. - good cleaning. - free water and soft drinks in the minibar which was refilled if needed. - good opening hours at the restaurant, you could eat basically 24/7 -close to various bazaars - 15 minutes free massage at the hotel spa area - you got new pool towels every day. Things to Do in Eftalia Island -free sun loungers on the beach. The less positive... - a lot of food at the buffet but often the same tasteless food. Even that the food was out on the terrace in 35 degree heat for too long was a minus. My boyfriend got sick in his stomach 2 days of vacation. - very stressed staff who barely showed interest in helping guests. There were of course some nuggets. - cleaning ladies were very on about us drinking. We had planned to spend a larger amount at the end of the week but were almost told by the maid that we should wash. The maid took one of our pictures out of the AC and when my boyfriend asked if she knew where it was, she pretended like nothing. - a lot of extra costs to be all inclusive, be prepared to, for example, pay for an ice cream. - the seawater was brown and full of trash like toilet paper. Swimmed once and then we went swimming the rest of the week..

Would never go to this place ever again. The food was rubbish, especially at breakfast time, there were no breakfast options for British people, they didn’t even offer toast which I couldn’t believe. The coffee was vile as well. The only decent thing about the breakfasts was the fresh orange juice, which you had to purchase even though it was an all inclusive hotel.
With it being an all inclusive hotel, we assume you get all drinks for free, this definitely wasn’t the case. The things you get for free are wine that tastes like vinegar, crap lager, soft drinks, and 30ml bottles of water. So with the heat being as hot as it is in August, we had to keep going back up with the bottles of water being so small, bearing in mind I was heavily pregnant and had a 4 year old with us also, so those small bottles of water were no good for us.
The cleaners knew there was 3 of us in the room, we had the same cleaner everyday and she kept giving us one shower towel, we explained to her two or three times that we needed 3 large towels. We got given a new cleaner who provided us with the correct amount of towels and were stocking up our mini fridge with drinks, but every time she seen us she asked us to tip her. We usually always tip the cleaner at the end of our holiday, but this we found really rude and off putting. We given her around 15-20 euros when we were leaving for home, and she just looked at it and didn’t even have the decency to say thank you.
The only good thing about this hotel was the children’s pools on eftalia island, they kept my son entertained all day along with the beach. The pool at our actual hotel, you had to get up at the crack of dawn to put your towel on a sun bed, which we never bothered with.
I wouldn’t advise anyone to go there, and will never be revisiting ever again.

2 days before we left we got told in morning that you will be moving to Eftalia Ocean get packed and leave by 10 so you had pack your bags and go next door on the other hand Eftalia Ocean was way better then Marin ocean had water slides snack bars at the hotel if you need at Marin you would have to go to the island.

We are just leaving from a 10 day holiday, 10 of us in total 6 adults and 4 children aged 10-11, we were very sceptical coming with all the bad reviews however we needed have worried. The hotel itself is lovely we upgraded to a family room on arrival and was well worth it very spacious with 2 balconies off each bedroom. The hotel is kept spotless at all times and the staff are very friendly and helpful our cleaners were wonderful with the most amazing towel art left at the end of the day! The downside was the food and drinks. Food is hit and miss but could always find something and breakfast was the least favourite meal but again lovely bread and cereal and fruit it wasn’t hard to find something for everyone including a very fussy 10 year old! Drinks, not all included although all inclusive you had to buy cocktails and the all inclusive alcohol was almost non alcoholic it was so weak! The entertainment, again mixed bag here we loved the daytime entertainment of darts, inflatable in pools and the foam party at the beach down the island, the evening entertainment wasn’t as good, some excellent singers but other nights cello music but I suppose something for everyone. Special mention to Umut who made the holiday, was always encouraging us to join on with darts and during evening would come to sit and chat with us! He was a hit with us all adults and children! A very decent hotel with plenty of activity opportunities. We came as 2 families to this hotel in Alanya Türkler location for 9 days with the suggestion of Monsieur Tourism Cihan Bey's campaign. When we first entered the hotel, Giray and Göktan's smile and positive energy gave us the first messages that our holiday would be a good one. There is a road between it and the sea. They passed under the road to the beach. They have created a super area with an island on the beach, an aqua park, a large pool, a children's pool, shopping places, a la carte restaurants and a sandy beach. The curly-haired young man working on the sandy beach loves his job and is extremely polite and humble. For reservations with a 7-day stay, you benefit from 1 free night of restaurants. Sneak has a wide variety. The concept includes soft drinks, wine and beer. Others are paid. The food is diverse and delicious. However, they serve alcohol, wine and beer in the outdoor dining area. So we couldn't enjoy Raki. The lobby, cake lounge, pool and kids club are super. You can get a foam scrub or massage at the SPA. Everything was perfect. Single Arab tourists talk loudly, so much so that they use hotel room corridors as home gardens. We were disturbed by their lack of knowledge of etiquette and the images of the waste left on their tables by taking too much food and not eating it. We told guest relations that precautions must be taken against this. A German family even took a photo of the waste and talked about the hungry in Africa. There is always food. It is a culture and manners to eat and take as much as you can. The positives, place is spotless and well staffed. Now, food - it’s typical all inclusive - if you’re a fussy eater it’s not for you. I felt more went into presentation than quality of food. Kids choices are terrible chips, spaghetti and onion rings. Breakfast was eggs, dry cheesy pastries or pancakes. Kids don’t even like cereals there. Snacks are ok but very repetitive. Drinks - NOT WORTH ALL INCLUSIVE PRICE. The local spirits are tiny measures and the beer is practically non alcoholic. I suspected this and the rep Told me no it’s 4.8 but various staff tell you the AI beer is “holiday water” and there’s constant pressure for you to buy the “real stuff” Entertainment looks plentiful but at the actual hotel it was practically non existent with a band on 3/7 nights only unless you went to the island where there was a 60 minute show - however on the island spirits aren’t free! Most nights our kids used the vacant stage to make their own entertainment and were generally bored. Forcing families out at night when it’s still 35+ degrees is ridiculous. Service- not every bar served all alcoholic drinks so you often have to walk further to get spirits the cup sizes for kids was about 150ml at a time and staff refused to issue trays to help carrying drinks, so it was often multiple trips to and from the bar even for soft drinks. Overall, the place is too big for staff to care and u like other resorts there’s no personal touch what so ever. Our kids ages 8 & 11 had different preferences and due to the location it was impossible to keep them both happy at the same time, youngest too small for big slides, oldest too big for small pool. We weren’t allowed to take drink from the hotel to the island even thought it’s all the same resort it’s just anything to get you to buy something else. The shops on site are extortionate do not buy from them. Clothes were ok but food drink is well over priced- £5 for a packet of cookies. Other hotels in the eftalia range looked better but I do not recommend the Marin.

You can do it at the hotel when you get there but tbh we didnt fly till late but we just put our cases in the storage room amd went off and enjoyed our day
