Starting with Jet2 itself. They were great from the moment we booked. Sending us texts and emails to keep us informed. So that left us with such ease! My partner and I stayed at Long Beach Nr Alayna, the Villa part of the resort. The experience in the Villa was soo good! Literally come out the balcony door and walk straight into the pool! Such an amazing view. With the villa bar right in front of you. The staff were so friendly and always smiling. Always say hello to you and make jokes with you. Especially Kaan, he was our favourite. Kaan was part of a bar that didn’t do cocktails but would happily go and bring you any drink you wanted. The food wasn’t the best but that personal opinion only, for an all inclusive abroad it’s what you would except, however, a lot of choice and lots of different restaurants within the resort to choose from. The alcoholic drinks were good, of course it’s not going to be like the UK but for abroad it was good enough. If you ask them to put more alcohol in your cocktail they will happily just do it. The WiFi was good everywhere in the hotel apart from the inside of our room. If we came out the balcony and went down two steps it was perfect. However, if you’re staying in a villa you would except the WiFi to be good inside the room. We did the package Hammam (Turkish Bath) with a massage and facial. It’s highly recommended. Feel amazing by the end of it and left our body feelings like a baby’s skin. Plus the staff were really nice too. We don’t have kids but plenty of water slides and fun for the kids through the hotels. Very much a family AND a couple type of hotel. Works for both. Tropicana beach club was open every night. However, certain days music is very much catered to Germans and other language (not sure which) there was English in the mix too but either way was still great fun! The beach, behind the hotel, you just walk through the hotel tunnel and you’re there. Nice little piers throughout the beach and you can lay on the beds there. Also down the beach they had cabanas, only 30 euros for the whole day. Plus you can put your own music into the speakers. Plenty of water sports too. The sand wasn’t looking so great :( However, we came in the evening to watch the sun set as you have the most AMAZING view!! We didn’t leave the hotel much but when we did we found that all the markets are the same!!! If you’ve been to one, you’ve basically been to them all. All sell the same things. If you like sports, we went to Karis restaurant and bar. Very friendly people will happily change to the sports you wanted to watch. Good drinks and sheesha also. Restaurant right opposite called Baron was also good, cocktails weren’t the best, maybe just mine, not sure. Sheesha was very light. Didn’t eat in either restaurant as we went for sports and drink. They also dropped us to the hotel for free as it’s something they do as part of the restaurant. People in restaurants can became over friendly, it’s normal to them but we can perhaps find it a bit over bearing. All in all, it was an amazing holiday with my partner. We had such a great time and would recommend to people. However, make sure you check if it’s with season otherwise a lot of things will start to shut. We made sure we went towards the end of the season so it wasn’t too busy but same time everything was still open. And the weather was on our side too! Shorts weather, however, evenings you would need a cardigan or long dress :) Added a few pictures.

We just got back from Long Beach, thus I am sharing impressions that are still very fresh and vivid. I cannot imagine a better place for a family vacation (and thus cannot understand those people who find something to complain about in it! :) ). The hotel's facilities are huge - seaside with plenty of sunbeds, a number of pools for kids of all ages and adults with impressive slides, including an indoor pool with a jacuzzi. Tons of delicious food of great variety everywhere - pool bars, lobby bar, main restaurant. Free ice cream served from 12 to 17 every day, delicious cocktails for kids and adults. There was absolutely everything to suit everyone's taste! So thank you Long Beach for working so hard to impress your customers! and a little advice - you should cut down on the abundance of food, as some people were simply wasting it, loading up their plates and leaving food stand there ;)

We have just got home from Long Beach resort Alagna. The resort itself was brilliant. Probably the biggest resort I’ve ever stayed on right on the seafront. Plenty to do for the kids. The pools were fab although cold didn’t find a heated pool. One of the infinity Pools was ice, cold, no joke. When we arrived, the reception said that they had given us a free upgrade so we were buzzing to be led to a wooden chalet which was clearly not an upgrade. So the next day we had to mess about of moving into the main hotel on the sixth floor in the family duplex, which is what we originally booked and it was brilliant. It had an upstairs Bed for all the kids, comfy clean, the maid came daily. If you decide to have a photo shoot on sight, the photos are brilliant but expensive and once they’ve got your money, they dont bother speaking to you anymore when you first arrive people will continuously come up to you for the first three four maybe five days asking if you want a photo shoot if you want to book on a spa day or if you want a tattoo if you don’t want any of these tell them straight away and they will leave you alone if you tell them that you’re thinking of maybe doing it later on in your holiday they will come to you every day more than once to try and convince you to pay for it. The à la carte restaurants I would never use them again. We chose the Italian travelling with three children. We thought this was probably the best option as they would do pizzas. It was the worst Italian I’ve ever had. The kids were all starving and it was pretty much left over from dinner the chips was heated up the past as well. Nice we chose to have the chicken for the main and you’re literally got nothing without it was just chicken in a sauce. The main restaurants had quite a good option kids Corner chicken nuggets burgers no the usual is that kids like to eat ice cream throughout the day the pancakes you must try the pancakes by the pool. The lady that makes them amazing. Watersports on the beach and some of our family did the parasailing and they were amazing really made the experience Good and you can buy the photos all for about €25. Evening entertainment doesn’t really vary that often it’s mainly dancing. The circus was quite good which was on the Thursday. I think in the first radio is free to use but it’s only open at certain times throughout the day. We only did one day trip which was the beach buggies which were so funny, but be warned you get absolutely filthy but if you have boys that like to get dirty definitely girl, but you can get the price cheaper he wanted €150 a family of five but we ended up paying €125, so they do budge on price slightly. Football fans they don’t show football on site anywhere. We paid €10 for a taxi to go near eftalia Beach resort just outside there. There is a pub and I think it’s called Big Ben. They share the football and they sell good drinks drinks, expensive. Lesley just a little tip. If you have to go to the hospital in Alagna, it’s the worst experience of my life for taking my son there they were rude horrible didn’t explain anything tried to get me to sign things that were all in Turkish. The hotel itself were really friendly saying that they would transport us to and from the hospital as soon as you get there. It’s all about money money money and they don’t look after you, so make sure you have your travel insurance documents to hand. We decided to get a private transfer to the hotel when we got to Turkey, cost us about €80 and it knocked about 20 minutes after travel, it’s really not worth doing. Overall, if you are wanting a resort to do for the kids and you want to go to Turkey, I would definitely recommend this hotel.

Myself and my 13 year old daughter have just returned from a 10 night break at long beach, we stayed in one of the swim up villas which was stunning room cleaned everyday mini bar topped up everyday and was so nice to be on the other side from where everything was going on, our side was so peaceful. (Downside our privet pool was FREEZING) if this was a heated pool it would of been amazing and a lot of the other guest staying in the villas who we got chatting to also agreed. Food choice was questionable as in I feel it catered a lot for other nationalities I just wanted beans on toast for breakfast some days! neither the less you will not be short of options. We mainly ate over in the hotel as the choice was so much better than in the villas restaurant. We were still discovering new parts to the hotel 6 days in as it’s massive! Water park is fab entertainment of an evening was brilliant, rides were very good, You need to try the ice cream and Pastry place it’s open through the day the cakes and caramel icecream are to die for!! I found some of the staff rude and they definitely favoured the Russians and Germans over the English but that’s just my opinion. We did two À la cart Mexican night (would highly recommend the sunset as we were eating was amazing as it’s right on the beach front) Italian wouldn’t bother unfortunately. Checking out the reception staff were not the friendliest we didn’t get so much as a have you enjoyed your stay thank you so much for booking with us nothing which I feel its a last impression so should be more observant of this. Word of advice just take Euros don’t bother with Turkish Lira. We left the lira for tips for the waiters and even they wanted euros. Would we visit again ABSOLUTELY mainly down to the hotel and facilities.

Not quite sure what some of these negative reviews are referring to as we are a British family of 6 and we couldn’t have been more welcomed if we tried. The staff are all attentive and made a special cake for my sons birthday. We stayed in a family duplex suite on the 7tg floor and it’s super clean and spacious and very modern. The views of the pool and see are spectacular! Lots of options for food and we are all enjoying it. The kids are loving all the pools. Shops are quite expensive here but you can get a cab into alanya where you’ll find lots of shops and your typical fake designer shops where lots of bargaining can go on. Weather is amazing 27 everyday which is fab for end of October. Really pleased with it here and would definitely return. There is something for everyone

We are here now & can’t fault the place, it’s massive with loads of different places to eat & drink - loads of pools & lovely beach. We are from the Uk & all the staff as been so lovely with us, you don’t feel like you need to tip either. Don’t be put off by the bad reviews, something here for everyone, we got a taxi to town a few times day & nights & had a meal at the Big ben pub & Chinese which was great. Definitely recommend if you have kids xxx

Nice staff, friendly and service minded. Good food. A wide range of options for fun activities. Some very expensive though. Massage, jet ski and gaming room were a large expense, but all really fun and high quality. Concert noise left us without sleep the first night. The kind staff helped us change room. We got a two bedroom room instead of a 3 bedroom as we booked. The beds in one of the bedrooms were so hard that not even the kids could sleep on them. This we ended up sleeping in one room all of us. Not really what we paid for but at least we didn’t have a concert in our room every night. Despite many many guest the place was always clean and empty glasses and garbage were constantly removed by the ever present maintainancecrew. All in all a wonderful holiday at Long Beach resort.

Upon arrival to the hotel we were taken to our room on the 2nd floor. The room was not 5* I would give it 3* at most. There were several issues that we had to report to Reception, tiles in bathroom not clean, wardrobe door handle broken, bathroom door handle broken completely off from the inside, tvs didn’t work, the electrics for the room (main trip box) was open and exposed and I must say the staff did come and fix it promptly but it wasn’t a great start. Lifts are terrible. If you click the button the lift just goes past you even if it’s going in the direction you need, we ended up using the stairs a lot and it seemed an issue to others as they were carrying strollers up and down the stairs. It would be a big issue to anyone with a disability as they have the restaurant and arcade, shops, spa, gym etc as well as access to the pools on the lower floors. The amenities to this hotel are fantastic. Evening entertainment was brilliant with lots to choose from, the splash park, slides and fair etc for children was really good and I couldn’t fault it. I will add there’s a few extra costs such as ice cream, smoothies, candy floss etc as optional extras but keep in mind this is not part of the all inclusive. Restaurant and food - there’s a lot of places to choose from but keep in mind if you’re going for more than a week it gets repetitive and there’s not a lot of variation. It would also say this isn’t 5* food. Bars - this was a huge issue for us. The bar staff were so rude and ignorant. We were blatantly ignored and by our 4th night we had lost patience. Particularly the piano bar and also the coffee and cake area. Special mention to Ali at the main pool bar area (salt water pool) who was the only member of staff who acknowledged our existence at the bar. I had read some reviews in relation to being British and not feeling welcome before we arrived and we ignored them thinking “there’s always that one couple” but as a family of 4, we did not feel welcome at this hotel. The staff were beyond rude and we did not get the service we paid for. The visitors to the hotel are mainly German and Russian and many of them will not treat you with respect, will barge into you, walk into you like you don’t exist, push in whilst in a queue and just be quite frankly rude. I wasn’t aware just how much of a British thing it was to queue until visiting here haha! But dare you treat them with the same manners you’ll be eyeballed. During our stay we did not feel welcome at this hotel and we would never come back for that reason. It’s such a shame as it has so much potential but unfortunately for us it just was not worth what we paid. I understand that the hotel cannot help the behaviour of other visitors, but when the staff treat you the same there’s just no escaping the disrespect and feeling alienated. It was also our first time to turkey and unfortunately has completely put us off ever returning back to the country as we suffered similar treatment in the airport, perhaps customer service just isn’t in their culture but I was happy to get back home, go out for some food and be served with a smile. I would like to add I’m by no means a fussy person and can tolerate staff who can’t be bothered at times I get it. But even a tip got us no where, they just didn’t like brits and it was very blatantly obvious we were treated so differently to others. We spoke to a few British families we bumped into in the common areas and they all said the same. It got to a point where I thought maybe I was the problem, even being overly polite got us no where they were just uninterested and rude regardless. A smile, please, thank you, tips and addressing them by name got you no where. I would like to say thank you to Ali at the main pool bar who did acknowledge our existence, Salim in the main restaurant who took care of us and the maid who smiled and said hello each day. The only 3 members of staff who were polite and treated us like human beings.

Firstly I’d say to the “don’t come here if your British” is just silly, the place was full of Russians, Latvians, Polish and wherever else and there was not one problem with them when I was there, get over yourself if you think resorts should be full of “English speaking staff and people”. I’d like to say this resort as a place is wonderful, the place is spotless, has great pools, restaurants and plenty of bars and places to snack at, I can’t fault the resort in that way because it was a perfect place to get away and not have to leave the resort at all. Now where I feel it unfortunately wasn’t great, with the exception of a few I feel like the staff look like they couldn’t care less, from the restaurant to the bars (and I feel bad writing this because there were a couple of barmen who were great) a lot looked like they just couldn’t be bothered and for a big resort as impressive as this that’s a massive letdown for me, people pay thousands to come on holiday and well that kind of reception from staff there is just rude really. The food…. Well there’s plenty of places to chose from but the food is pretty much all the same (not including A le carte restaurants), the main restaurant was mediocre and very repetitive every night and the “bar” snack areas were good but not great, also I feel like staff serving food at bar areas could be a little quicker as there were ques for things like chicken kebab meat etc where is wasn’t for having to wait to cook but just rather them not keeping on top of serving quick enough and if you want pizza be prepared to que. Deserts were great throughout though. The Spa was great, compliments to the staff there and I was treated great by the staff there and thoroughly enjoyed my treatment. The gym is a great asset to this hotel, well equipped for a hotel gym and the owner is a friendly helpful guy. One more thing I’d like to comment on though is how slippery the walkways and paths are, please take care when walking here as it’s dangerously slippery in some areas. My room…there’s no complaints there, I was supposed to be in villa which I was disappointed to not be able to get but I stayed in the wooden chalet’s which were clean, well maintained and really nice so I enjoyed staying in there. In all would I come back here? I’d say no but by all means I’d say try it as your experience of the place might be different from mine and as I say the place is an impressive resort with plenty to do but for me there were just too many needless letdowns so sorry I’d give it a miss in future unfortunately.
