Well I’ve just returned from the club mermaid village and after reading all the reviews before we went I was dreading it !! We arrived at 2am in the morning the reception guy was lovely told us to go for soup and a drink in the restaurant that they had kept open for early arrivals but we didn’t bother as we were too tired. We got to are room which was very spacious we had a room with a double bed and a room with a sofa bed and then a pull out sofa bed in the rooms were a kettle with cups, sugar and tea bags whick I wasn’t expecting the room also have a mini fridge with 2 big bottles of water that the maids filled every day also rooms got cleaned every day whilst we were there for 11 nights. The pools were lovely only problem we had was if you wanted a sun bed you need to be up at 6 am every morning as these went quick. The waiters were all lovely and very friendly they all work extremely hard all day, the food wasn’t the best but it wasn’t the worse always something to snack on the snack bar had burgers chips chicken nuggerts and bowls with salads in. Ice creams with cone got served for a hour every day the entertainment at night could of been better no shows came in just one night was a Turkish night then bingo and karaoke another but all in all we really enjoyed are stay here please don’t spoil your holiday and read the bad reviews it isnt really in a good location not much around the hotel but there was a few super markets and clothe shops also a tractor that picks you up from the hotel and takes you to the beach we never used this but we all had a fantastic holiday.

After reading the reviews I was dreading our holiday before we left the UK. But after the first day all of my concerns vanished. First of all I would like to say that if people want the Hilton hotel standards then that's what they should book and stop their moaning on here. It just causes unnecessary stress for people who haven't even started their holiday. The accommodation is basic and everything worked as it should and the shower was powerful. There was water in the fridge on arrival and fresh towels and linen. We were a towel short but asked reception and they sent someone along shortly afterwards. The entertainment was not the best but the animation team work tirelessly to please the guests. The shop attached to the hotel is quite expensive and if you walk around the corner there are other shops that are cheaper. The food was nice and varied. If you are not willing to try new foods then there is always chips! The staff are very helpful and always working hard. The pool and slides were great and the spa is definitely worth a visit. I went for a morning swim at 0730 every morning and I had no problem in getting a sun lounger for myself and family. Yes, there could be more but if you want to lie in til midday then you probably won't get one. There was a morning where people's towels had been removed from the loungers and placed on a table. I have to admit I sat and enjoyed a coffee whilst watching people come out from their rooms at 1100 to find the towels that they had put out at midnight removed....absolutely priceless!! Well done to the hotel staff for doing this, it made my holiday! This should be done every day to deter the klingons that start these so called 'sunbed wars'! It's really not a bad hotel despite the reviews. We made the most of it and really enjoyed our holiday. The location could be better and so could a lot of things, but as I said earlier, if I wanted the Hilton that's what I should of booked!

We went as a family of 6. We dont really have high expectations but this was more of a 2 star. The bedding didnt get changed for the 10 day stay and we got 3 towels in the room which i kept having to ask for replacements. The food was the same most eveings. The entertainment was horrendous. The children enjoyed the mini disco but that is on from 9 o clock and after that its either bingo, karaoke, comedy night or couples night. Bingo was expensive and the prizes where tat! But we played because thats what u do on holiday. Couples night consisted of couples in all sorts of positions trying to pop a balloon. Comedy night was again involving a balloon and guests copying the rep. There isnt a bar near the entertainment to cut down on costs. The bar staff wouldnt allow you to take a tray and would only help with drinks if you tip them. The sunbed wars where unbelievable. We wasnt able to get a sunbed for afew days so we followed the rules and got up at 06.45 to lay our towels for the day (the hotel say after 6.30). We had breakfast and returned to the sunbeds and our towels where gone. The hotel blamed the people the people blamed the hotel. We discovered that people tip the pool staff and they removed peoples towels who havent tipped them. I would never go back and wouldn't recommend anyone to stay at this hotel.

We had a 2 week stay and I was ready to leave after 2 days! We arrived late at night to the hotel, the staff on reception didn’t understand English and couldn’t even crack a smile or say hello! Our room was absolutely crap, very dated, the bathroom door didn’t lock, the air con unit was leaking and our safe stopped working leaving us unable to get medication, which the manager asked us to wait until the next day for. The cleaners don’t understand anything you say to them and was hit and miss when they wanted to leave fresh towels and bottled water. We had to keep asking for them, we went a week with no clean bedding so had to ask them to change it. It was actual sunbed wars every day, to the point people were taking others towels of the beds! The entertainment by the pool was the same everyday even to the point of the same playlist (I now know all the words to mambo number 5). Aqua aerobics, then a dance then gymnastics every blooming day! The nighttime entertainment was shocking we gave up going to it. Also you can only get ice cream for an hour a day, which causes massive queues and the staff doing them would moan if the kids went up for more than 1! The food was okay, you would need to try new foods or you will be eating chips, spaghetti and bread the whole time! The food at the pool bar wasn’t great, the restaurant is much better. There was a gym and a free trip once a week to the a la carte restaurant advertised, which they are non existent anymore. You also have to pay for wifi and any cocktails. Most the staff were so rude, couldn’t understand English and would perv at young girls. The only good thing is the weather, it was so hot for the 2 weeks we were there. If you are going as a family I would avoid at all costs!

Let's just say after seeing reviews on this place with 1 and 2 starts I was worried. These worries were put to bed on arrival. We were a party of 10 ( 6 adults and 4 children ) we enjoyed our usual place around the pool high on the veranda , the sun shone for 10 days. Spent a day on the beach but it wasn't great very run down no golden sands as pictures try to portray. The hotel is a 4 star but I'd say more of a 3. The food was OK with something for everyone. Our family room for 5 was spacious and on ground floor. LoveHolidays say it has a minibar which is a lie. It has a fridge which the cleaner puts water in whenever they feel like of you ask. Also it says you get robes in the room which again is another lie. The gym which is advertised is also non existent. The all inclusive is also a bit of a con as you have to pay for WiFi and cocktails. Entertainment is repetitive and done by the same person dusk till dawn the hardest worker in the hotel. 4 days into the holiday 8 out of the 10 of us came down with what I can explain as hell on earth with vomiting and diarrhea. The majority of the staff were helpful and friendly. It was nice the hotel had many nationalities visiting. The question I ask myself is did we have a goodtime , yes we did. Would we go again NO.

This was the worst holiday experience of my life. Having survived the death-race transfer from Antalya, it transpired Thomas Cook hadn't paid the hotel for our room, which resulted in me having to argue with them for 90 minutes, before reluctantly agreeing to pay 230 Euros for 2 twin rooms for one night, even though we had booked a family duplex to sleep 6. The 6 of us had to stay in 2 twin rooms for 2 nights until the payment was received and then they moved us to the duplex. The reception staff were in the main completely unhelpful and at times surly and offensive. The next family to arrive after us had the exact same problem and through the course of the holiday, we spoke with 5-6 other families, only one of which got the room they had reserved on check in. One of these had a wheelchair user who had to stay in an ill equipped room for 2 days. The air conditioning was broken in one twin room. The shower heads were mouldy. The towels were threadbare and one had a big hole in it. There was some kind of grey grease on one of the light fittings. This is not a 4* resort and I take exception to the claim that it is all inclusive. At what 4* all inclusive resort are things such as filter coffee, orange juice and cocktails not included? Why would you have to pay for wifi? There was only 1 bar open at night with only 1 serving staff. The queue was at times 25 minutes to get a drink on an evening. The soft drinks were often flat and you usually got about half a glass. If you asked for the drink to be filled up, the staff were very rude. They advertise a private beach 600m away with loungers and a snack bar. It is much further away than this, tiny, has no snack bar and was filthy. Plus they neglect to mention having to cross a 3 lane motorway to get to it. The pool/terrace. This was far too overcrowded. There was music on the PA daily 10:00-18:00 which was the same playlist every day and so loud that no matter where you were on the terraces, you couldn't even hold a conversation with the person next to you. My daughter stood on broken glass in this area and when we asked staff for assistance, were given a tissue. Luckily some other guests nearby had a first aid kit on them. The pool itself seems to have somehow stained any light coloured or white swimwear we had which is now ruined and 2 of my children started complaining of earache on the last day which it transpires are serious ear infections. The doctors who have examined them have advised that this was almost certainly caused by the water treatment in the pool not being sufficient to kill bacteria. The resort itself was generally not very clean (and the pool it seems was definitely not) but it also appears to be home to a number of feral stray cats, who were not only left to roam the grounds, but were present in the restaurant at every meal, scavenging for food. I saw on more the one occasion that they also sneaked in and out of the kitchens. This is (and I don't use this word lightly) a s**thole. The area is also awful. Stay away.

We just returned from a weeks “holiday” at the club mermaid beach and don’t understand how the ratings for the hotel come up 4 average. We were a family of 6. On arrival and then at breakfast a family of cats roam the reception and the restaurant. My wife suffers serious asthma from cat hair and the hotel staff and management don’t care about the health issues to prevent them from being on site in food and public areas. Our duplex room did not have 6 beds . We had to use the sofas downstairs to make the other 2 beds which were not sofa beds, so very uncomfortable. No cold bottled water supplied in room fridge you have to go and buy it. There were only 2 towels provided in our room so we had to ask for the other 4 . You only get one room key. The Wi-Fi is charged for as are beach towels . Many standard drinks local spirits are not in the all inclusive package such as rum. Make sure to get up before 0700 to get your sun loungers round the pool or you won’t get them. The restaurant food is very poor quality and choice , plates often dirty so check carefully. Breakfast orange juice from the machine more water than orange. Cold fried eggs or boiled eggs only ( as egg choices) , no omelettes offered . Lunch /dinner choices and quality poor so we ate out every evening. The lunch snack bar by the pool serves inedible burgers , or chicken nuggets and chips so not impressed. The night we arrived a family just ahead of us were complaining to the manager about their room allocation and the manager was exceptionally rude to them which was not called for. Our son had a cup of very hot coffee spilt on him by the bar staff and did not even get an apology. The hotels beach is stuck at one end of a dirty beach area . The evening entertainment is a joke it’s all run /done by the one animator single handed , no visiting performers . It feels like the hotel is milking the guests here by giving very little against the cost paid. keep clear of this hotel.
