Lonicera Resort & Spa Hotel is often celebrated for its prime beachfront location close to shopping and dining, alongside a vibrant atmosphere filled with daily entertainment options that guests generally enjoy. The hotel's cleanliness receives frequent praise, with spotless rooms and well-kept grounds, and the service is often described as attentive. However, some travelers feel the value doesn't match their expectations due to issues with food quality and room conditions. While the amenities, including children's activities and aquatic facilities, are a highlight, guests have suggested there is room for improvement.

We are very satisfied with our stay at Lonicera Resort & Spa hotel. We had a rest from mid-October to early November 2024. Two halves of the family from different countries joined there. It's been a long time since we've seen each other, and I think we're lucky to have chosen this hotel. At the beginning of October 15th, my husband, I and our grandson arrived from Moscow. My husband and I are already 80, and we asked for a room somewhere on the upper floors and next to our grandson, who is 32. We were accommodated very quickly and conveniently on the 4th floor. Then on the 20th, my son's wife's sister arrived, and she was also accommodated nearby at our request. It was very convenient for communication. Then my son, grandson and daughter-in-law arrived from England on October 21st, and they were also accommodated on our floor at our request. It was so kind of the hotel administration and determined our vacation in many ways, although the hotel was full. There are many opportunities at Lonicera Resort & Spa. In addition to the usual hotel facilities such as spas and shops, guests of this hotel could use the facilities of Lonicera Premium: patisserie with coffee and ice cream, a cafe where they could have a snack at lunch, as well as their territory with courts and a beach. The rooms were wonderful, very modern, on average slightly more than in hotels of this class. The food in the restaurants was nice ( there has always been fish and melon, which grandchildren love much) and there was one restaurant where you could eat at night. I would especially like to mention the staff and the hotel administration. The restaurants always had excellent service - the tables were set instantly at any time, always with a smile. The rooms were serviced on demand, you need to light the appropriate light bulb on the door. In this regard, the hotel is very modern - there are many different variations on the door and there is no need to put up outside the door any signs (like do not disturb) that are often ignored. If you turn on the red "do not enter" light, no one will ever bother you, and if you turn on "clean the room", then they will clean it at least 2 times a day if necessary. We really liked our very responsible and very sweet maid Maral from Kazakhstan, she spoke Russian well and it helped us a lot, we wish her and her family all the best. Special thanks from me, my grandson and our whole family to the representative of Guest relations Ilknur Cicek. She helped us much when we had some health problems. I believe she is just that kind of people who should work at Guest relations - responsive, kind and active. This is the best Guest relations employee for all my vacation trips to Turkey for 8 years. We all wish her and her family health and prosperity.
Everything was generally great, the only thing to consider if you choose this hotel is that the beach is small enoug for the number of people that Lonicera World and Lonicera Resort & Spa accommodate. But if you come to the beach early, then you can get settled. I think we'll come here again, there are many advantages there.

I want to share my opinion about the holiday in this hotel, there were both pros and cons. the hotel grounds liked, very large, green, well maintained, very many tall palm trees, there is even a zoo with all kinds of chickens and rabbits. the grounds were clean, never saw any dirt. also on the property there is a cool water park, quite a lot of slides for both children and adults. there are also 3 or 4 swimming pools(by the building 5* , 4* and one with paths)
with the beach of course it is worth doing something because it does not take out so many people, all the sunbeds are always occupied, we miraculously managed to find available places and would like to have the same sunbeds on the beach as the pools (in net) they are much more comfortable and fresh.
about food you won't stay hungry, there is a place on the property where you make gozleme tortillas with different fillings (sweet, with cheese, mince) very delicious I advise everyone to try! there are food courts, there classically you can make yourself a hamburger or a hot dog, there are nudes, fries , all kinds of macaroni, vegetables, etc. also there is a place where you can squeeze the juice from oranges yourself, very delicious!
in the main restaurant everything is always uniform, and also crowds, especially for dinner, for the first time in Turkey I did not like desserts:(and in the coffee shop in building 5* they were not delicious, as were coffee and cocoa.
room we got a good one, there was one single and one double bed (two of us) the beds were comfortable, the linen was clean, every day they cleaned.
about the staff, you can see that many were very tired (especially girls Cossacks or Kyrgyz, walked around with a disgruntled face or pulled a smile) BUT I want to single out one super cool waiter , his name is William, he worked in the main restaurant 5*, always smiled, asked if we liked everything, brought wet wipes, in general very friendly and friendly guy(he needs a bonus!)
about animation/discos, in the evening every day there were all kinds of shows (mostly it was all kinds of dancers or showed tricks) , but to take a seat at the amphitheatre also you have to try)) since first there is children's animation, all children with parents take seats and when you come to the adult everything is taken, so with the question of seats at the amphitheatre also worth solving the problem. so was aqua aerobics and yoga in the morning there were unfortunately no discos, but there are bars where there was live music (not every day) and you can dance to it in principle.
Well, I don't regret taking a break in this hotel, it's basically fine, as long as you don't dwell on the downside.

We stayed in this hotel for 6 nights with a family of 10 people. At the beginning, the reception was very good and we had reserved three rooms because we wanted all three to be on the same floor and they did not have any available rooms, they showed us the rooms and we checked in after our satisfaction. Room: It was a good size and new equipment, only shampoo, soap and slippers were not in the room at first, which were brought after contacting the reception, which took a long time.

‏Food: All meals were excellent and varied. Because it was a big hotel, in most parts there were small bars and restaurants, including snack food and fast food, so whenever we felt hungry, we could find something to eat. The behavior of the bartenders was very good, especially there was a girl at the bar next to the Olympic pool, who behaved respectfully and excellently, apart from the behavior of several people who were working in the pastry section.

‏The entertainment of the hotel was not very attractive except for the foam party which was good. The children's play area was varied and fun. The outdoor pools of the hotel were very good, especially the Olympic pool Only the indoor swimming pool of the hotel was closed and could not be used. The beach of the hotel was very small in terms of area and because the hotel was made up of several hotels, so this beach was very small and I can say that the chairs were arranged very close and it was very crowded. The problem that was in the hotel was that due to the size and crowd of the hotel, the elevators were very crowded and many people did not follow their turn, and when going to the restaurant, we had to wait until the elevator was empty.

The hotel''s location is number ten. The sea is shallow and spotless. Floor Services isn’t getting enough room clean. We used the room with 2 kids, but the cleaner we used it, the dirt there was. Floor Services wrote us a warning letter asking you to use the room more carefully clean. It’s the first time we’ve been on vacation for years. Ultimately, we didn’t break or damage the room’s fixed materials. There were egg shells under the single bed in the check in room. Maybe still standing. Since you have such a good request. I would like you to clean your check in rooms more carefully. The check in rooms should be delivered at 14:00, but we were delivered at 14:45. And the staff who work at the bar aren’t seriously doing their job. Food and drinks are low quality. They crashed into our car in the open parking lot, but the car was unable to be detected because there were not enough security cameras in the parking lot. Without any conclusions, the General Manager took care of the matter. I don’t think animation entertainment can get people in a bad mood. We looked forward to previous animations and asked the animation team what happened tonight. The indoor pool is too chlorine, so it''s not good for babies. If you have too high expectations, I don’t recommend taking a dip in the hotel’s location and pictures.

Were in September from 14 to 25 at this hotel on the advice of acquaintances that I can say ....arrived at 13.00 ,immediately checked in ,waited nothing had to wait ,immediately put on bracelets ,gave all cards ,explained how what and where ,went into the room ,immediately I went to the bathroom ,love all kinds of cans ,clangs ,shampoo ,and there is nothing there ,three boxes of cotton sticks ,three boxes of caps and cotton discs and all !!!!liquid soap are attached to the wall with a dispenser ,if you didn't bring shampoo ,you can immediately go to the store .Bathtub of shrapnel ,splinters are on the tiles ,toilet paper one roll for 24 hours !!sometimes I already ran myself asked because the room didn't come to clean , respectively and the paper didn't bring .Trash was already falling from the bucket on the floor , hung a sign to clean the room ,then came .Cleaning the room was just a guard ,I was shocked ,the balcony didn't wash at all ,she didn't even think I went in there .Food, which I can say ,lots of meat and duck and chicken and turkey and beef ,but everything is the same every day ,if anything new was added ,in the form of shrimp and so on, then at 8 p.m. it was no longer there, if early didn't come to dinner , then everything ...didn't have time ,saw crayfish boiled on the adjacent tables, but alas,we ran looking ,we told all ,you didn't have time ,everything, and it was only 7.30 p.m. Fish was only one species a day , I was shocked , the balcony didn't wash at all , she didn't even go in there. The whole one side of hotel is facing some garbage facility. They were throwinng a glass botles whole night. Every day before 6am they startemptying large trashcans.

We wanted to switch room and waited 4 days to change it with me spending a lot of time on reception and trying to resolve things instead of enjoying my vaccation with family.

For the whole process we wanted compensation in form of laye checkout, but were offered one stupid bottle of Turkish wine.

Balcony door are not soundproof in any way. It is like theyare still open.

Main door to the room are often not closing properly and then it makes a loud beeping sound and people often needs to smash the door to stop it.

They do not care about their customers. They see them just like big moneybags. Walking ATMs..

not too mention it is always full of arogant russian tourists. Hotel doesnt care about non-russian much, because again… money

Worst vacstion ever. Never ever should my foot step inside this overpopulated aquapark.

The resort is massive, well-equipped, and kept clean. There are plenty of activities for both adults and kids in and around the pool; I especially enjoyed the aqua gym! Each evening has scheduled events, which you can check on a wooden hut on the way to the beach. There are also live bands, and we found ourselves dancing almost every night.
The food selection is generous, with a focus on fresh fruits, vegetables, pasta, meat (no pork)and fish. Each night features a special main dish, like turkey, tuna, lamb, or beef, so there's always something to suit your taste. There's also a wide variety of juices.
The spa is well-equipped, and the prices are reasonable. However, we were offered a “deal” by our guides for a local spa and massage session. We paid 150 euros for two people but later discovered an additional 145-euro charge for extra massages, which could only be paid in cash. I'd recommend negotiating directly with the spa if you want treatments like massages or peels. The service in Lonicera’s spa was excellent, much better than the traditional hammam experience.

The hotel is stated 5 stars - I was very very excited to spend a week with my family in this amazing hotel as the photos we were shown before booking looked the part… it’s completely false advertisement the resort has 4 buildings 1 modern which they show you when booking and your chances of actually getting a room in that on is slim the other 3 buildings all outdated and very old buildings with smoke stained white goods 2 single beds pushed together with 2 different sizes of mattresses also stained no lock for the door so my 2 year old can let himself out whenever he wants I have to put the bedside table and out cases I front of the door to stop him from leaving there is a lock on the inside but that’s for the electric swipe to lock to stop maids entering but doesn’t stop children leaving … we booked all inclusive and paid a fortune for it to get here and find out you actually have to pay for everything literally everything costs money your literally only getting breakfast lunch dinner and drinks…. Also they do not cater for English speaking guests were not able to go to the entertainment as it’s all in either Turkish Russian or German I wouldn’t know as I speak English but I’m on day 5 of 7 and I have yet to hear one English song matter of fact even trying to find an English speaking member of staff is mission impossible the reception will send you to guest relation as they don’t understand you and you get there and guest relations don’t understand so you need to wait 20 mins plus for the one and only English speaking member of staff… the staff are wild they will take your order and instantly turn around to their college and speak in their own language and then laugh at you, they look at you as if your a freak of nature none of them know how to make cocktails properly each member gives you something different…. I would like to point out we are 5 days In and I have spent a whole day in bed I’ll and all I’ve ate is fruit and dry pasta is from this hotel… my 2 year old eats a lot and he’s now been I’ll for 2 days he was sick today and all he’s had is food from this hotel, they don’t do room service and they don’t allow you to eat in your room they tried to stop me taking bread up to my 2 year old when he hadn’t eaten in 24 hours and was I’ll it took a lot of energy to explain to them he is sick and it’s this hotels fault the food is awful… I’ve cried more than I have smiled I will not be back and I have been trying to find early flights home as I cannot take another second in this place what a shock it has been not for me or any of the 5 people travelling - were from Scotland and manners cost nothing but over here manners and kindness aren’t a thing it just doesn’t exist

There's multiple ramps and elevators. Even sunbeds for disabled people (don't know how you could get up the stairs to use the waterslides at the aquapark though). There's also plenty of space in the dining halls and enough to fit in the rooms

The premium one is a lot more expensive and I think it's a bit more modern, but Resort & Spa is better worth the price in my opinion, considering how you can use the premium beach and other things even if you are booked into a different Lonicera hotel.
