Second time at Gold Island and this time we stay in B-Blok, on the 6th floor. We have a nice room with sea view. The Hotel appears very clean and all employees are very friendly. Food and Drinks have a poor standard of a 5 star Hotel.

Stayed in sept 23 with my bf. As cat lovers we couldn’t get over how much they cared for the stray cats it was so heartwarming and amazing. We would wait out to help feed them every night . The food the hotel the service everything 10/10!! The wine and Cocktails too top Quality. There was Bottled water in fridge and ice cream / lollies in freezer help yourself all day everyday. Starbucks all inclusive too. Could get burgers chips at 2 in morning . Could get anything you want it’s 100% 5 star. Can’t wait to come back 10000%!!

Family come first right? Right! In short I always have been coming to Turkey since 2014 for 5*Star holidays…. This is not a 5* Hotel ! I’m Here still as I write this till 5th September and came for 2 whole weeks - not the best place! Staying in Mondo block with Jacuzzi on balcony. Which we thought when booked we were staying in the main A Block not 2* Star B Block - be advised tour operators wont tell you this so be warned! If you like bad stomach pains including Vomating from eating their food and enjoy broken tiles, wooden floors, bad paint work then this is for you!! The Tour operators really need to adjust or Eliminate this hotel from their lists. The information before booking is a SCAM AND DECEIVING!! Theres Two blocks A and B ! We thought we was in the main A block thats the dome/circle hotel like in pictures!! Ripoff merchants ! Very disappointing when they cant upgrade or offer an Alternative room. Instead we paid a lot for two rooms with balconies. In a horrible apartment block! When you speak to other families we are all singing from the same prayer book no matter what religion you are its pathetic how they treat here especially if hour English like us… 5 star treatment only offered to German and Russians and English come last hygiene is not good either hence the dodgy tummys! We hand sanitize everywhere we eat/drink, double clean the cutlery …,, its either that or a horrible Virus going around… We will not be returning some staff members are nice but remember the staff here are school university kids earning a buck! Funny the older people who have experience with people are the gardeners and room cleaners who always say hello. Picture this today 2nd Sept 2023. Small scenario: Walk to the bar man - I asked for a drink and he came across very rude. Got the drink no smile so i asked him buddy why dont you smile and serve your customers? In a nice way… He replied ‘ you smile because your on holiday sir’ And its too hot to work for us to work’.(mind you the Aircon is perfect in the hotel lobby) I said to the chap no offence you get paid to work here and be polite and smile to customers its part of the 5*Star experience. He said he doesn't agree ????… oh my god…Shambolic! not just from this dude but other 15 members behaviour that need reviewing asap!! Ps: If you want to make a complain….forget it !! they cover themselves and other staff to make sure you feel crap. No sign to leave your feedback but yet theres Tip boxes in every corner of the hotel Pathetic!!!!! walk away and protect your wallet. Regards Gb…

I want to say a huge thank you to the animator Vitaliy, who conducted activities very interestingly every day. It was only thanks to him that it was a lot of fun to spend time here. I also really liked the food and service in the bars

The best hotel for family, perfect with small kids! The hotel is not big but has so many things to offer. First, the location is amazing: it is a semi island. The pools, 2 aqua parks, 3 !!!! beaches. Food is absolutely delicious! Coctails is smth one should definitely try. Oh, those desserst!!! :) I strongly recommend this hotel! Absolutely amazing

We where on a family trip i august. I regret that i did not read «tripadvisor» before we booked this hotel. The hotel is old, and needs reneovation of the rooms and the floors. The other problem is the music/noise from the other hotel. We where in contact with the reception severals but They did not want to change the room. So we had to go to Apollo services and then the hotel change the room to the sea side. On this side there is noise from the ventilation 24/7. But this we did not complain about beacuse this is better then the other noise. When we asked to Get the babycrib it took all day to Get it in the room. The staff in the restaurants is amazing and the food was great. But we did not have a Nice stay, we wanted to change the hotel but could not Get refund so we had to stay there. Stay away from this hotel!…

Unsure what to expect before arriving due to few reviews posted regarding questions we had. One in particular was how many beds would be in the room for guests booked. This hotel was perfect for our family, nothing was too much trouble and we enjoyed 10 days here as a family of 4. It would have been better for us to have known there would only be 2 beds in the room, one being a slightly bigger single, which had to accommodate 2 children. We would have preferred seoeate beds for the amount of time booked. Plenty to do onsite for the children, including two water parks and a number of restaurants to change things up a little. We especially enjoyed the beach front restaurant where you could feed the fish. Staff here were exceptional, Which made our experience here one to remember. One waiter who would have our order prepared swiftly everyday we attended, where he was friendly and smiling each time. Rooms were well air conditioned and cleaned daily, fresh towels and a request for extra blankets which was promptly sorted. Few English guests at the hotel which was not an issue as the entertainment included all. Only downside was that only one channel in the Tv was in English. We seated in room 415 in a block, which had a beautiful view. All inclusive was plentiful, good selection of drinks, food and water bottles available throughout the day where you hell Yourself. We especially liked the little cafe where we could pick up cookies for a small bite to eat. It appeared to get busier as our week went on, which didn’t effect our time here, just the availability of sunbeds, where people would be reserving them before 7am. On a couple of the days we used the inside pool, which was a welcome break from the sun, overlooking the restaurant. We did hire a beach hut for 25 euros, which was lovely, just far too hot with children to enjoy in its entirety. Right to the end of the holiday staff were so helpful, taking our bags to the transfer coach making things a little less stressful. A great hotel when travelling with kids, especially if you take all inclusive. The two hotels are combined and you find food and drinks aplenty every where. A big plus for this and also for water bottles available when ever you wish straight from a fridge. The staff do not speak English almost at all but are friendly. Recommend using Google translator via mobile if need to book a taxi etc. No need to exchange money as Euros are welcome everywhere. Our family enjoyed our stay and also loved the cats and kittens the hotel looked after 🫶

We booked this holiday through Apollo. Everything went smoothly on this vacation. Clean and tidy environment, good food, a lot to experience and an excellent service from the smiling hotell staff is worth to mention. The most talented "entertainment team" in the hotell deserve extra stars for their performances and to keep all the guests entertaining everyday. We really send our gratitude and thanks to the most talented person in the entrainment team "Suat Ayrik" who made this trip really a memorable one. Suat is the most talented person we've ever met and he is also very nice and polite with guests. Other names to mention is "Mehmet Demir" at la carte restaurant. Staff in Bars was always smiling and provided us with the best ever drinks. Our kids also gets easily in touch with these amazing people from the staff/ entrainment team (Vitali, Hakan, Deniz, Yigit and many more (don't remember all the names)) and they've asked us to visit this amazing place again soon in near future.
