We used the washroom here before the hike down and back. They were not amused. On the way back we stopped for lunch, wine and tapas. The wine was barely one swallow. The tapas were really terrible. We considered ourselves fortunate that we only had stomach cramps later.

Really confusing and disorganized. Not reccomend. We arrived and wait for 30min. After that, when was our turn in the line the waiter just said that they closed the kitchen, and would not serve us. Not good.

We stayed her for two nights, the hotel is situated between Bakio and Bermeo and overlooks San Juan de Gaztelugatxe. The room was basic but fine and had lovely views out to sea. The location of the hotel is next to the car park for visiting the church and a times you feel you are staying in the middle of a car park. Nice bar/restaurant area with a great outdoor patio. The food in the hotel restaurant was good but is quite expensive and closes at 10pm.

This was an unplanned stop but we are certainly glad we stayed. A fantastic view from the terrace and dining room. Friendly hosts who were keen to help in anyway. Only bad thing was that we didn't stay on a night when the restaurant was open, we would have loved to try the food.
