I love this hotel i have been going there since 2016 its what a lot of people would call VFM Value for Money. The staff is very friendly and professional every night is special and the hotel has this oriental vibe to it. It is pet friendly and on a ideal location not more than 1-2 mins walk from the beach and tavern/restaurant. ~5 m8ns from the tourist shops and about 7mins walk from the plaza.

This is weird place: I was OK with the kitsch decoration and so on, I might even say I could enjoy this sixties hippie, oriental ,etc. hodgepodge, but... wow I did not at all expect a hotel that hasn't had probably had any renovation since it was built (the 60s?), other than probably the A/C unit. Pros: - The view from rooms facing the sea is great. - breakfast is pretty good with some variety e.g. several cakes (carrot, chocolate, etc.), greek-style fried doughnuts, etc., although most of the dishes are rather mediocre. They also serve it until late morning. - the beach right below the hotel is quite nice and so is the garden (although the mixture of different decorative styles can be ...overwhelming) - the owners are quite polite and welcoming. - I think there is a private parking. Cons: - the room was soooo dilapidated! I am at a loss. - the bathroom was in a particularly terrible condition (pictures attached, no wonder why there are no photos of bathrooms in any listing). The shower is so tight to fit in and there is rust everywhere: in the sink, the shower curtain etc. The water flow can also be very low- it happened while I was having a shower. - The shutters of our room would not fully close. This was also true for the balcony doors - there was a large crack on the top. - The bedroom is quite small and the decoration is a mixture of sorts, oriental and other. Cleanliness is OK but everything is so worn-down that it 'looks' dirty. - there's a party (at least on Saturdays) with oriental dancing which can be an issue if you want to sleep earlier, as there is absolutely no soundproofing (well, the windows don't close properly). As a final note, if this hotel were to offer a much lower rate (say no more than 30-40 euros/night during high season) and one was OK with this level of accommodation, it wouldn't be such a bad idea. However, given the actual rate, the overall value is terrible. There are cult-like positive reviews for the establishment which can be misleading.

Room 23 has the best view of the marina. The breakfast and baths are the areas where there could be some improvement, but overall it was a very nice experience. The staff is very warm and friendly and attended to all of our needs. I found everything to be clean.

I have stayed in many hotels but this one stands out from all the rest! The unique interior, the location two steps from the beach, the rooms are well kept.. breakfast is served from 9 until all the rooms have eaten? For me that's a plus not having to wake up so early. The owners are so amazing! My boyfriend and I stayed for the weekend for his birthday, the owners gave him a little party! They make you feel like you are staying with your family! It's a warm atmosphere and I 200% recommend it!

We had such a fun time at the hotel anatoli. Philip and his mom are the nicest people, and the hotel is in a great location, right where you want to be in Agia Marina. The breakfast here was the best greek breakfast we had on our week long trip through athens.
