I had a very quick but also very satisfying stay at this hotel in Bülach. Recommended by my fiend and with a top location, I stayed here for 1 night. The lady at the reception made a fast check-in for me and explained the hotel/ facility and the breakfast. The hotel has an elevator, leading me to my room at the 4th floor quickly. The room was very nice, cosy and clean. Amenities were also good, accordingly to the hotel category. The bed was very comfortable and made fall asleep gently. I checked out in the evening the next day, as I had a flight back home late. A quick small-talk with the very friendly owner was more than satisfying (I think she was the owner) and gave me a last ,-very positive impression of this place. Thank you for your hospitality.

Staff were extremely friendly. Room very clean, bed very comfortable, wi-fi quick to connect and very fast. Staff all had multiple languages and very helpful with local information. Everything one needs is within a few minutes walk. Plenty of convenient outlets for laptops, chargers etc.

I visited this hotel for business the last week of January 2018. While it was my first time to Switzerland and Bulach I found this not to be your typical hotel. I will admit as a business traveler you expect certain amenities and comforts. This hotel did not have all of them but it did have great service and restaurant. While there was no room service or shop in the hotel there were shops and restaurants within a 5min walk of the hotel. The food in the restaurant was very good for dinner. The breakfast buffet in the morning was more for the European taste. I did have a pleasant stay my room was clean and staff were pleasant. It was a unique experience I will not forget! Beware of the church bells at 6am every morning!

I booked this hotel because of its proximity to where I had a meeting so was not looking for much more than a comfortable night's sleep at a reasonable rate. Well, what a surprise! A hotel centrally located in a charming little Swiss town on the outskirts of Zurich with (free) off-street parking ..... and it get's better. A wonderful and charming welcome in traditional Swiss regalia even though they were obviously finishing a busy lunch service. Clean, tidy and well equipped room AND a wi-fi connection that worked first time without need for code, etc. It gets even better ...... I decided to have dinner in the hotel restaurant and had one of the more memorable meals of my hotel restaurant 'career' - not cheap but then again it was Switzerland but just excellent and the service was just as good!
As always, I feel obliged to find a point to improve and that must be that there were not enough electrical sockets in the room.
Otherwise 9.5/10 - Bravo!

We recently stayed again here, for the third or fourth time. Rooms are clean and have all conveniences. Some are a bit small, but still fine. Excellent beds/pillows. Restaurant is excellent, Michelin one-star quality, with an Austrian flavor. Fine wine list, specially rieslings. Free parking, five minutes to airport, convenient petrol station to refuel rent-a-car. Service at a high standard.
All of this costs quite a bit: we usually wind up paying CHF 200 or so for the room, and 200 CHF for two if we have a fine dinner with a good bottle of wine, though you can eat well for far less.
We were not bothered by noise, as others have reported. My guess is that this is a problem in summer when windows are open.
Bulach is a lovely, little town. On our last stay we accidentally hit the opening of the Christmas market which was very nice.

quite charming hotel, in a very old builiding in the centre of this small city, not far from Zurich airport, worth considiring this hotel, if you have to stay over in or on the airport very pleasant staff, good restaurant.

If you don't want to spend a few hundred dollars for a hotel inside Zurich or even at the airport, take the 15-minute bus ride from the airport terminal to Bulach and enjoy a typical Swiss town that offers a great Riesling wine and good restaurants along with this easy little hotel on a lovely street. Though the guestrooms are nothing special, this hotel offers all the basics a traveler needs at great rates by Swiss standards. The room furnishings are a bit worn, but beds are comfortable and bathrooms clean. Staff are very friendly and accommodating. The breakfast buffet offers lots of delicious options. And the building itself is centrally located in a walkable, pretty, 1,200-year-old town that is near a river and scenic farmland -- and the big Zurich international airport beyond that. Zurich itself is a short train ride away, so you could make Bulach your base if wanting to explore the big city without the big hotel prices.

We were visiting a factory nearby and the hotel had been booked by our hosts, they couldn’t have chosen better. Friendly, typical Swiss cleanliness with everything working and a good varied breakfast made it a very enjoyable stay. But then there was dinner in the hotel, it was superb! Good menu, well cooked and presented food. Would I return? Absolutely with no hesitation at all.

The hotel seems to be near the center of Bulach. The staff is great. It is within walking distance of the train station with good service into Zurich. It is also a 10-15 minute taxi ride to the Zurich airport. The restaurant in the hotel is excellent. There is not a fitness room in the hotel, but I went jogging in the wooded park .5-miles away.
