The village of Siorac has been improved and driving into the centre is different. We mostly just drive through on the main route outside the village or visit the large supermarket etc. The village is lovely and having no through traffic quiet and pretty. Friends had told us about the restaurant but we have so much choice we had not... More

We ate there on a lovely Sunday evening in the courtyard. You could also choose to sit inside. The food was good with a choice of set menus or al a carte. Service was friendly and helpful and atmosphere was very pleasant. We all had the beef which was cooked as requested, very tasty.

Very comfortable and clean with a lovely courtyard and restaurant. Breakfast is well worth it and dinner was great as well, especially the desserts. Good central location to explore the Dordogne in all directions. Be sure to meet the tortoises.

We spent four nights at the above, attending a wedding nearby. The bedroom was great, clean, good shower, large room. All friendly, breakfast typical French , jams and different rolls, good coffee. Great village, just off the main road, no noise. If you are in the area, good value.

We stayed here for one night and it exceeded expectations! Considering it was the cheapest choice we could find in the village, we were not expecting much. The staff were friendly and there was a lovely fire roaring at the back of the restaurant. The room was basic but very clean and comfortable. After the house special champagne cocktail by... More

room was clean and tidy with plenty of space. Dinner served under the vines in the courtyard was very good. The food was well prepared and delicious. Plenty of choice of locally sourced ingredients. Really good value for money. The couple who run this establishment work hard and deserve to do well.

We have eaten here before (see an earlier review) but decided this time to book a room for a couple of nights. Excellent accommodation and the food is every bit as good as it was at the time of my last review. Virginie is a charming host and her team follow herexample. Highly recommended!

We have had many delicious meals here, we visited 4 times this summer and we think its the best food in the area! We sat outside in the charming vine covered courtyard. The food is beautifully prepared and reflects the specialities of the region and is of really great quality and value especially if you choose one of their set... More

We stayed here for three nights ( late May 2014) , as part of our cycling holiday with 'Aquitaine bike hire' . Our stay was excellent and a highlight of our holiday. Simple but comfortable bedrooms. Good value for money. Dinner each evening was special, the menu reflecting the specialties of the region. The husband & wife team work hard... More

We had lunch here on our penultimate day. The food was exquisite. Beautifully prepared and served by a husband and wife team. It is not somewhere you would stop at from appearances, but at the back is the most wonderful shady terrace. Cannot recommend more highly.
