We didn't stay at the Liddlesdale but visited for food. Staff were really friendly and the food was unbelievable. You definitely need to pay a visit, I cannot explain how good the food and hospitality was.

We called in as we were driving through Newcastleton. We enjoyed the sandwiches with chips and salad and a coffee each. All in all a very tasty lunch, thank you ! Very good value for money. Quiet bar, but relaxing.

Great hotel under excellent management of Tom. We visit friends in the village a couple of times each year and normally self cater, however this last visit was a short stay and the hotel was the perfect place to stay. Whilst the rooms are basic,...More

We stayed here while visiting the Kielder observatory (itself very much recommended). We had a nice if a bit basic room, but the food was surprisingly good both evenings. Very friendly team, a good stopover place.
