We had a really wonderful stay at Amorita Resort to end our first visit to the Philippines. We were welcomed by the wonderful Prime (Thank you again for looking after us so well), shown to our villa as soon as it was ready and had an amazing time exploring Bohol. The location on the headland is fantastic, with easy access to the beach and sea. The food was good and the staff there were all super helpful and friendly with nothing being too much trouble to ensure the perfect holiday. So much has changed in the world since we got back to the UK, we feel so lucky to have been able to visit and meet so many wonderful people. Thank you Amorita !!
My stay in Amorita was perfect - this is definitely one of the best resorts in the Philippines! Although it's a bit on the pricier side, it was definitely WORTH IT. Upon landing in the airport, we were immediately greeted by the warm staff of Amorita. The room came with a free airport transfer so that's one thing of your list! Upon entering the resort, we were welcomed with a beautiful view and a glass of cold juice! We booked a one bedroom room, we were 4 pax. Would say that the size of the room is perfect! We had one king bed and 2 days beds. The bathroom was big too! It had a separate shower/toilet, bath tub, and 2 sinks. We also had a small dining area, a living room (where 2 of us slept), and a balcony. Now on to the other things: Restaurants/Food - Breakfast was great!! It didn't have the biggest selection but there was something for everyone. Plus all dishes were of great quality! Also, the view was amazing! Every morning, we would choose to sit on the table by the pool, overlooking the beach. Perfect start to your morning! - Saffron Restaurant (also where breakfast is served): we ate here a couple of times and was never disappointed. They serve a variety of dishes including Filipno, continental, etc. - Spanish resto on the 2nd floor (I forgot the name): we ate here once for dinner. Service was a bit slow but food was good nonetheless. I think there are a couple of other restos in the resrot but we weren't able to try them. Facilities - The resort has 2 pools, both with a great view! - Gym - Spa (very affordable) - Archery - Bikes were available for use Location - The resort is located at the end of Panglao island but still walking distance from all the other restos on the island - Since it's a bit secluded, you are given utmost privacy, which we appreciated very much! …
One of the nicest places to stay in Philippines, not to mention friendly and helpful staff. Just amazing place. Magical location, good food and two for one cocktails! What else you need to enjoy your holiday.
Amorita resort in Panglao is an ideal place for R & R ... quiet and relaxing surroundings, grown trees, flowering calachuchis, hammock to take a nap or read and swimming pool for each private villa or common area. One can explore new restaurants in town or a day trip to see Chocolate Hills, Baclayon church ( founded by the jesuits) and Tarsier sanctuary ( small native primate in its natural habitat). Alona beach is a few steps away from the resort.
I stayed at the Amorita resort for 4 nights. The place is spectacular in both its feel and ambience. The staff are all relaxed and professional. Personal tours were arranged with no hassles and they met every requirement. There was plenty of activities and events and the location on the beach was just a short walk to the restaurants on the beach. Definitely a great place to visit and stay.
