I forgot earrings in the bathroom and realized it 2hours after my checkout. After calling the reception, the reception was going to ask the room service. Surprisingly, They never “found” them! I am not sure if they bothered asking anybody but somebody is lying!!
Me and my husband stayed here on the closing weekend for our anniversary! We were told in advance of any changes due to covid and the closing one of which was breakfast on our balcony for the last two mornings which was a dream! The welcome from the hotel was perfect with a glass of bubbles and a swift simple check in. Our room was stunning with the most amazing bathtub and cloud like bed! Maria was super helpful and a delight before and during our stay. My husband ordered me the most beautiful bunch of flowers which Maria helped him pick and he said she was really helpful. She also checked in on us with a gift and card in our room. We were treated in my opinion like royalty - nothing was too much trouble. The waiters/bar staff by the pool and in the bar were fantastic throughout. The DJ was a definite vibe despite sometimes playing to a quiet crowd he was always happy, dancing and clapping. We ate at Nobu the first night the food was wonderful but it’s the only place we felt the service didn’t match the rest of the hotels. We will definitely be coming back next year where hopefully we can meet all the fantastic staff from behind the masks! …
Simply outstanding. From the spectacular yet low-key lobby, to the attentive staff, to the fantastic restaurants, to mouth watering room service menu (catered by Nobu). Javier, the concierge was an incredibly helpful person. All our bags were delayed and he gave us great advice for where to pick up clothes… on a Sunday evening, when most shops are closed. The rooms are “compact”… either pack light or pack smart with your pool/beach items easily reachable in your suitcase. Very generous bathroom amenities with decent sized bath foam and shampoo/conditioner. Access to the old town is a short cab ride (under €7). Nice to look around the shops, get something to eat & drink and then walk by the marina. Overall, the hotel made our stay memorable for our first real post-COVID vacation. The gym, located on the street level, was clean, cool, and well appointed. The hotel has an adults-only and family pool. Each of their restaurants are great. Tough for me to choose between Bibo and Nobu… I’ll go with Bibo. Their signature brioche dishes are a must.…
We spent 4 days here and unfortunately our overall impression was disappointment. The general level of service is not quite five star. The beach is kind of non existent (just a strip of sand with sun beds - see picture for actual beach) The room initially had a damp smell but we weren’t sure if that was the smell from the seaweed rotting on the beach or the actual room. Room itself was fine - however was never swept and so the floor remained a bit gritty for the whole period. On 3 occasions we had to request housekeeping as they seemed to have forgotten us. Also randomly replaced some items but not others. Service around the pool is incredibly slow which we worked out was down to the day bar staff not really coping. Breakfast service also not great and general cleanliness in breakfast room not good. On the positive side; some of the staff were lovely and the evening bar ran well. It feels like I am nit picking but I did not feel that I got a five star experience here and the price is 5 star. …
Always amazing! Our third time here and it’s always soooo good. Love, love, love this hotel. Astrid and her team always deliver a 5 star service. Food is do delicious and the staff are always so friendly and professional and will do everything to make sure you have the perfect holiday.
We stayed at 5 hotels in 6 nights so that we could try out several hotels. Each hotel had advantages and disadvantages. We enjoyed our stay at the Nobu as we liked the relaxing atmosphere in the evening with the pool all lit up and the foyer looked lovely. Our room was small and expensive but it overlooked the sea and the pool, was attractively decorated and had a small balcony. It was comfortable for one night. We enjoyed eating in the restaurants although Nobu was expensive for small portions. The beach just outside is nothing special but it is nice for a short walk - there is nothing particularly good to do nearby so you need a car/taxi. Service was good throughout. We were given early access to our room which we really appreciated. It was nice to sit on the free loungers overlooking the sea. We would come back if we could get a good advance rate.…
What a beautiful hotel! Our stay was to celebrate my husbands significant birthday, and we were impressed as soon as we stepped into reception. From the natural yet sophisticated decor, through to the professional staff, always eager to help whatever your request, this is a 5* hotel that matches UK 5* standards more than any other I’ve stayed at. A special birthday treat we hope to be able to repeat very soon. Recommended
We had a great time because of the pretty environment, nice pools, great views, and really really good food. The clientele, (and some of the staff) however, were very much into drugs. Coke. Either users, or successful dealers having a swell vacation all paid in cash ( piles of money exchanged at the front desk by certain northern african types in "cheap "designers clothes and accessories. Crazy folks at the bar with aggressive dealers picking them up and being completely scary. It just so happens I really don't like that vibe. Expensive hotel, so you can expect something. But, no class, not my scene. It might be a minority, but they still determine the atmosphere too much. first timer in my life I felt that way, Im not coming back.
Stayed at this hotel for the first time, as you walk into the main entrance you do feel like you’re in a private members club. The view opens directly onto the pool, coffee shop on the left and a bar next to it. Service at the bar was a little slow, but just order 2 drinks at a time! Slight criticism the location of the gym is at the front of the hotel which means people walking/driving past could potentially see you working out.. but not a huge issue. Overall a great time at Nobu Ibiza Bay and would stay again.
I found this hotel to be a massive disappointment in a number of areas. The biggest disappointment happened at check in where we were denied the upgrade that should have come with our rate because the hotel was apparently full. It didn’t seem full for the remainder of our stay, but no big deal, there are no bad rooms in a hotel of this class, right? Wrong! The layout of the room we were given made absolutely no sense – a gigantic foyer area, and separate WC, both large enough to host dinner parties were a completely bonkers use of square footage. Because when we travelled to the bedroom area, we could barely squeeze past the bottom of the bed! I measured the gap between the foot of the bed and the wall – it was exactly the size of the complimentary flip flops we were provided (see photo). The rest of the bedroom was taken up with 10 inch thick “desk” under the TV that was pointless and unusable – no mirror beside it to use as vanity, too narrow to fit a laptop on - and a gigantic ugly armchair that provided seating for only one person and blocked the view of the only mirror in the room. The shower had slats into the bedroom area – why do hotels keep doing this? No one wants to be on display when they’re showering! The WC had no nightlight or extractor fan, the only things I needed in this complete waste of 100sf. The king bed was actually 2 twin beds pushed together with separate twin bedding – I’ve experienced this in some lower class European hotels that want the flexibility of layout, but this room had no space to be a twin layout and just meant that my husband and I couldn’t cuddle at night. It was the most maddening layout for a hotel room I have ever experienced. The rest of the stay was fine. The hotel is beautifully decorated and maintained, the pool area feels very glamourous, the cocktails from the pool bar are superbly made. The breakfast service wasn’t really a buffet, you had to ask for anything you needed from staff who permanently seemed frazzled and over-worked. Sometimes it took quite a while to be seated and served at breakfast. Not one member of staff, from check in, to the breakfast room, to the pool area, to housekeeping, made us feel the teensiest bit special during our stay – it was coming up on closing weekend for the hotel, perhaps they’d had enough – but a smile and a friendly comment would have really helped. We didn’t get any housekeeping one day despite being out of our room for most of the day. The items we ordered at breakfast and lunch were often unavailable – again this could have been due to the impending shutdown of the hotel a few days later. I was really looking forward to a luxurious break after 2 years of COVID travel bans – the Nobu Ibiza Bay was not the splurge vacation I had hoped it would be.…
