Checked In today absolute joke at check in. Waited 10 mins at reception to be told it was the reception in the other block then another hour and 15 mins in a queue to be seen and then to be told rooms will be ready in an hour and a half (we have 2 rooms). THEN to be told one is ready and the other (with a baby) would be maybe another hour but not sure!!! Finally got 2nd room room 4 hours after we arrived. EVERYONE WE SPOKE TO HAD THE SAME EXPERIENCE SUCH A SHAME for 2nd week of the hotel being open for the season. I must say we have only been here since lunch time but we have found Bar and restaurant staff. Entertainment and beach area to be fantastic apart from the reception staff and check in. Which has totally put us off recommending hotel and we certainly will not return no matter how the rest of our stay is as first impression was so poor. I will write another review at the end of our stay

Mixed feelings about this hotel. Positives: Advertises self as a family fun hotel, and tries very hard at this. Many activities and facilities (pools, gym, show stage). Mostly friendly staff. Food varied and good. Beautiful location, with some bus routes to further afield Major problem: Worst hotel reception that I have ever experienced - 80 minutes to check-in, and back of queue would have taken 90 minutes. Not enough desk stations to handle entirely predictable number of arrivals. Lack of imagination by hotel management: it could have settled arrivals in the lounge with snacks and soft drinks while people waited.

Every year my mum, daughter (5) and I do a girls trip and we decided to book Menorca along with this hotel. Before booking I read the reviews and tried to see if there were any videos/reviews on tiktok and Instagram. The reviews didn't seem that bad and the location seemed OK so we booked. On arrival the front desk service was OK nothing special. When we got to our rooms I couldn't believe how small it was and for 3 of us to fit in there. We had hardly any room to move around. We had a room overlooking the pool and we could see the entertainment stage also which came in handy as my daughter does not tend to stay up late so watching the entertainment from the balcony worked for me. Let's talk food as someone who is a meat eater (apart from pork) I could not find anything for me to eat. The pizza was salty. The chicken had no seasoning. I don't eat seafood. My mum who is a vegetarian struggled also. I tried my daughter with their nuggets absolutely dreadful! The meat was grey and the vegetable soup was hideous. It was the most blandest thing I have ever tasted. The days to follow we just ate out because we couldn't stand the hotel food. The saving grace was the chips at the snack bar for lunch. The hotel grounds are filthy. The outside of our balcony had rubbish which was not cleaned the duration of our 7-night stay. I liked the fact that they had a children's playground but it was littered with rubbish and empty cups and even had shattered pieces of a cup in the play area and this was not cleaned up for 2 days. The children's pool I couldn't even fathom putting my child on, because it was caked in black mould or dirty whatever the case may be, it was disgusting. The chairs by the entertainment stage and sun loungers were awfully dirty too. What I did like about this hotel is that it was right on the beach and we found ourselves there most days. I can't see myself ever returning to this hotel. Room size was tiny. Food choices were poor. Hotel grounds and surrounding areas were poorly kept and filthy.

Good value hotel. Very very small rooms. Friendly staff. Fantastic kids club. Gets overcrouded in the evenings and noisy when ppl geather for dinner and entertainment. Good selection of food and drinks. That is all I can say about hotel. Beach, beach does the job. Marvellous, calming and clean. If it was for hotel my rate is max 3 but when u experience beach than 4. Nice budget hol overall.

We had a great time whilst staying here. Beach and views are to die for! Hotel was lovely and clean. So noise on a night from other guest going to and from their bedrooms. Food was fantastic! Staff great.. Only down falls too many wasps! Pools were cold too. But we would definitely come back.

We're pleased to tell you that we're making several improvements this year, including the addition of a heated outdoor pool. It won't be scorching hot, but we'll keep it a few degrees higher during the off season when the temperature is a bit cooler. We hope this news encourages you to visit us again soon. Me and my family stayed for 2 weeks in August 2023. We normally go Gran Canaria but fancied a change and I’m so glad that we came to Menorca! The hotel is really clean, the maids and cleaners are constantly cleaning. I will start with the room, lovely and clean, small but had what we needed. The only thing that I would say was an issue was the pressure from the shower wasn’t that great, so had baths most night (which I didn’t mind doing anyway). Our room was overlooking the pool and the slides, most nights we would stand on the balcony and watch the entertainment! Next up, food! There is something to eat, although a little repetitive there’s always something, they had certain nights that done Mexican, Spanish and kebab, which was nice! But all in all I enjoyed it, the kids loved the pool bar food, there were wasps constantly by the drinks machine but there is another bar on the other side of the hotel, which was a little less busy. I didn’t have any alcohol whilst there, so can’t comment on the alcohol but the soft drinks were always full and the coffee machine was always working. There are 4 pools, 1 baby pool, 1 with the slides and 2 main pools. We tended to stay at the pool nearest to the beach, it was cleaner and less busy. The slides were fun and the life guards had a laugh watching everyone going down the slides but making sure that we were safe too! The foam party was good! The beach is absolutely beautiful, the sea is so clear we could see the fish swimming around underneath, we hired a pedalo for an hour and had so much fun! You could go quite far out too. There was a few days were the weather wasn’t great, so the sea was a little choppy and managed to lose my glasses!. The reception staff helped when my daughter got an ear infection, they directed us to the nearest doctors and managed to get ear drops and medicine. There is a water park about 10 minutes from the hotel and there’s a few shops dotted around too, but not much else. The view is amazing from the hotel too. I would come back to Menorca as it is a beautiful island.

Great hotel, we went with friends and our children so total of 4 adults and 5 children across 3 rooms. We had the best time! The staff were great, location good and the beach just stunning. The daily entertainment was good especially it was the October half term here in the UK, we thought that it would be winding down but far from it! Would absolutely go again!

Now I went on holiday at the end of October for a 4 night stay, a small break away. Thinking that the hotel would be quiet because of the end of the tourist season, and how wrong I was. The plane journey over was very quiet, round about 50 passengers on a Jet2 flight which was brilliant. Then the transfer was a small minibus and only going to this hotel. The hotel was full of families with young children and most of them were British. We got to the hotel around about 11am and had to wait until the room was ready for a couple of hours. So we had a little explore. The hotel has 3 building blocks, 2 restaurants, 5 pools which includes an adults pool and 2 children’s pool, there are also water slides but always packed with children. There are 2 snack bars; one for drinks in block A and one for food in block B next to one of the pools. The hotel also has an arcade and pool tables. There is also mini golf, table tennis, children’s playground, tennis court, gym and TV room. They also have shops which include a souvenir shop, laundrette, hairdressers and supermarket. The hotel also offers tours, car rental and travel advice from a Jet2 advisor. There is also beach access. The beach has sun-beds at a ridulous price of 19 euros for 2 sun-beds and an umbrella which has nothing to do with the hotel, the hotel provides their own sun-beds on a grassy area near the beach. The beach is very nice and has its own boardwalk and is very picturesque. When we finally checked into our rooms they are quite sizeable with a desk and a sizeable balcony and bathroom. A safe and air con is also offered, but no fridge or coffee making facility. The TV also has smart access. The Wifi at the hotel is free but upgradable to a faster premium service as the free Wifi most of the time only works in public spaces such as the lobby or snack bars, it very rarely works in the rooms. The staff are friendly and the place is very well staffed. The food is amazing at the hotel they offer a sizeable breakfast, lunch and dinner which mainly is aimed for Brits. The snack bar also offers a range of warm and cold snacks, some are extra charge of all inclusive. Now for some of the negatives about this hotel. The entertainment while I was staying here was dreadful it was very much aimed for the children but for adults was very much annoying. The place is also full of wasps and fly’s which is something that has to be solved because its just disgusting. I went to help myself to a glass of cola only for it to be full of wasps. However, my main complaint is that the food most of the time is cold, now there are microwaves in the restaurants but you just don't want to be constantly warming up you food. I think its because they do not warm up the plates, which could be because of all the children staying at the hotel. As of the town Arena De Castell, its a very nice town which has a great viewpoint and many souvenir shops, bus services and car hire, a coastal path can also be found here. Overall I didn’t mind my stay, however probably won’t be returning because its mainly aimed for families with young children.

Thank you for providing such a detailed review of your stay. We appreciate your feedback and would like to mention that we do have fridges in the rooms. Just let reception know when you arrive, and they'll be happy to help. In terms of check-in times, we offer an early check-in service, but it's advisable to book in advance as this is subject to availability. Regarding the wasp and fly problem, we've noticed this phenomenon all over the island, and although we actively use various traps, our priority is the safety of our youngest guests, so we don't like to use sprays or any kind of poison. If you're considering a return visit, we encourage you to check our website for exciting new features planned for next year. Thank you again for your valuable feedback, and we hope to see you again soon. Kind regards, Club Hotel Aguamarina.

Great place if you love a dirty room, chicken nuggets and chips for each meal, to pay for everything even though it’s all inclusive and rude wait / bar staff! The only positive about this hotel is the decent pool facilities, 2 large pools, small adult jet pool, and a kids splash park and water slides. That would be it, but there’s also natural trees around with nuts/fruit??? On them that fall off into the pool along with leaves that thy don’t seem to rushed on cleaning out as it was full of them at 9:30am We spent €50 on arrival at the hotel between the tourist tax and the charges for items like the fridge, kettle & extra pillows so a so called “all-inclusive holiday” Also spent money eating out on the last day as I couldn’t stomach another plate of chips, chicken nuggets and salad! We were then given a dirty room with multiple issues that they tried to clean quickly while we were in the room, until I left and requested a new room. The rooms are so worn down, all furniture chipped and marked, all walls with black and brown marks over, chunks taken out. Brown stain on the bathroom floor, I counted 15 small hairs over the wall, chunks of brown stuff stuck to the headboard and much more stuff. Entering the new room which was better and an upgrade but still not clean to any good standard of any other hotels I have stayed at, not to mention the dirty sheet and towels in the ‘clean’ room The options of food were appalling, it looked like a spread from a kids birthday party, with no variation. Around 50% of foods without any labels and even the ones that were labelled, were done incorrectly. And I wasn’t a fan of all the flies in the dinner hall crawling over the food and having to swat and brush the flies off of you arms and food while eating. As an all-inclusive holiday, they would try to charge you for every little thing, pillows, kettle fridge. No cocktails were inclusive even when I asked for them to use local spirits they just pointed at the cocktail menu which had the on I requested but at a cost of €8. They had an ice cream, milkshake and waffle bar, none of which was inclusive, €5+ for anything. The inclusive snack bar, which had a large menu to order from but only approximately 6 items on there that were free, the rest you had to pay for. And when I asked for a coffee at the machine behind the bar I was rudely told to get one from the dispenser. Which you weren’t allowed any mugs, so small plastic cups it is. Our last full day before flying back the next morning was appalling, we come down at approximately 10 am, to see all pools closed off and locked up, sun loungers stacked up, and all facilities being taken away. There were a lot of people left in the hotel on this day, lots of kids and no one could play anything, no laying by the pool or swimming either. We all sat in the bar area just with a tv in the corner paying Spanish cartoons. We were told by another couple that this was the last week before they close due to end of season which I was not aware of, nothing to say when booking that things would be less. In understand a cut down in food and maybe less entertainment but not cut down that much to salad, chicken nuggets and chips!! Plus the last day before flying home everything was closed so we lost a whole 20% of the holiday and regardless of what time of year it is, that’s no excuse for a filthy room. Plus it wasn’t exactly a really cheap holiday, me and my partner paid £400 each for a 4 night “all inclusive” In all, this hotel was dirty, scamming, rude and I have never been more disappointed while being on holiday. I couldn’t wait to get home to eat a proper meal that didn’t consist of chicken nuggets and chips.
