Positive: helpful staff, delicious food
Negative: old building, far away beach, nightmare parking, restaurant crowded

"Comfort room" had tile floors everywhere. The building shows its age, repairs are needed (rusty showers, broken mirror frames, missing door panels etc.) . The restaurant was always crowded and the staff starts packing away the food at 20:30 when they close at 21:00 o'clock. The beach is a good 15-20 minute walk away if you want the less crowded spots. Parking is ridiculous (they want to fit 200 cars into 190 spots...so you have to hunt the free slots or improvise).

We were pleasantly surprissed about staying at this hotel. The food was very good, however I missed pancakes or something similar at the breakfast. But you will find something you like because there is wide variety of food to pick from. The furniture in the rooms is a bit old, air condition was very loud and I have no doubt it needs some maintenance. The room doors for sure need to be changed because they are really old and you can here everything over them. The most amazing thing in the room was the view over the sea because we stayed at the top floor.
Overall staying in this hotel was really good and we had very pleasant time. I really do recommend it.

Stayed last week for 4 nights Bed and Breakfast in a standard room, 4th floor, sea view.

Drove by car as we live three and half hours away from the Country.

It seems the Hotel was a 70's design building that has recently had a refurb. The entrance /reception is spacious and throughout the stay the reception staff were friendly, polite and efficient,no complaints there.

Room.

Our standard room was a little walk away (inside hotel) as I think the lower priced rooms (standard) are on the side of the main Hotel and the superior rooms are at the front of the Hotel. To the rooms you have to go down and up steps to the lift, which may be a problem with some people with mobility issues but we found a route to the lifts outside the Hotel building on the flat.
Room door lock old fashioned, 2 turns of the key. Size was good and had small balcony 2 chairs, small table, with sea view (as booked) was good too even better when the sun came out. Bed large and comfortable (hard) ,pillows a bit bulky but thats my view. Duvets good with spare blankets, our room had a bed settee. ModernTV sat on a unit, the usual crappy channels mostly in German but that's no surprise. There is no safe in the standard room, you have to arrange with reception a safe in the lobby area, small charge, no problem. Before I booked I requested tea making facilities, they replied “no problem free of charge” so did not take our own stuff. There were no tea making facilities in the room, they meant they will provide hot water /cups near reception area if we came down ??,we declined, so take your own stuff.

Bathroom adequate with plenty of hot water, no extras just two 2 glasses and small bars of soap. Wardrobes, plenty of space. The room appeared clean, clean towels every day, the towels are small but adequate.

Wifi was a bit hit and miss in the room.

Food all buffet style.

Breakfast adequate, cooked tomatoes, their type of sausage,scrambled/boiled eggs, bacon. White/brown bread and a toaster. Cold meats/cheese yogurts and museli, did not have these so cannot comment further. Lots tea bags to choose from, coffee (filtered I think), hot water and I think orange juice/water.

Evening meal (half board) adequate, selection of meats, pasta, potatoes, chips, fish (one type) and salad stuff. It varied each night and when they had the coach parties in on 2 occasions there was more choice, lots of Germans.
Cakes looked good but tasteless, fruit but no iced cream nor cream Sacrebleu !.
Unlimited white(dry) red (dry) wine, beer, juices and water. Two blokes on guitars on 2 occasions serenading diners which was nice, they then appeared on the night playing/singing in the licensed function room which was spacious and pleasant.
Catering staff were efficient and polite

Bingo and music was the entertainment run by a very pleasant young intelligent Croatian lady, Bar staff hard working and polite.
You can book massages etc and hair salon, good prices. Full gym supervised, no pool.

Resort
Under development while we were there. Lots of workmen laying slabs etc,the harbour for small boats still being developed,it will be nice when finished I assume shortly, as the season kicks off in the next 2 weeks when apparently they are invaded by Germans and some Italians, lovely. The resort is small but there are walks. We were lucky to have our car and went around the island over 2 days visiting the main areas which can be pointed out on a map from reception. The furthest area was about 30 minutes away so no problem.

All in all for the price you pay (in early May) the Hotel was good and clean. We enjoyed it.
If you are the sort that expect lots for little money or are picky by nature then its not for you,
We paid about £243 for 2 people 4 nights half board. If you book spa wellness Hotels pre main season you will pay well over double, its your choice, Thanks for reading and hope helpful.

Spend one night on location. Entered the wrong date when booking. Instead of a non show fee, they postponed my reservation without any problems.

The hotel is in a great location. The rooms are fine. Breakfast great. Dive center 300m away. I recommend.

The room nice and spacious. It was our honeymoon, so they prepared for us fruit and cava, with a nice note! They even they gave a free buffet dinner. Even free sunbeds to be in the beach. The staff is super nice and willing to help you any time. A lot of variety at dinner time and breakfast.
Thank you!!!

We, couple mid 30, visited this hotel in July 2011. It was very disappointing. It started when arriving, parking was a nightmare. This was not a surprise as the hotel does not have its own parking place; it is shared with a camping and 'the beach. It took us quite some time before we were able to find a spot. This parking problem is unrelated t our time of arrival; we had the same problem every time we returned from trips on the island KRK.

Parking wasn't the biggest issue though. The main focus of this hotel is generating cash and not to service the guests. Examples: Room is not clean, lots of things broken, etc. (please see the example pictures 1 (remote control), 2 (disinfected toilet) 3 (Broken tiles in bathroom) and 4 view (from balcony from sea view room).

An other example is the way breakfast is organized. The restaurant is very crowded, you have to stand in several lines to be able to get breakfast from the buffet. Breakfast closes at exactly 9:30. At that time big lights will come on and an interesting mix of different music starts (about 30 second of hard rock, then house, then classical, etc. just 30 seconds of each type of music. And not at a normal volume but like you are in a disco; clearly invented to scare the guests away. At the same time the personnel starts to clean the restaurant, including your food that you are still trying to eat (they will come with their cart and take everything that is on your table; finished or not). Pictures 5 (relaxing at breakfast) and 6 (breakfast rules).

We were glad that we were only staying for a couple of nights and not for a complete week.

p.s. internet access will cost you about$10 per day, no airco,no pool and yes we booked a luxery refurbished sea view room...

We stayed in hotel for 4 days. Staff at the Reception very nice, but other Staff at the bar and restaurant not. Room was clean and nice but bathroom old and small. For the first 2 days we were not able to shower because dirty brown water was coming out of the shower (we got an answer that it was because of a storm from the previous night). The Restaurant was always full, a lot of tables reserved and there was no seat available. One night we found a table without reservation and started to eat when a waitress came and said that the table should be reserved for others, so they moved us (we didnt even got a chance to finish what we were eating) to another table. And we were not the only ones. It looks that hotel is treating "groups" differently that individuals/families that come to the hotel and that should not be the case as we pay the same service. For breakfast the food was ok, but for dinner there was little choice and the food was cold. The free drinks at dinner were to sweet. Hotel has a lot of potential but it looks that no one is investing in it. The children playground at the back of the hotel is in very bad condition and no one is reaparing it. The only positive side of the hotel is the closness to the beach and town, otherwise its not worth the 3 stars and we would not recommend it.

I stayed in the hotel for three days (in the preseason). The hotel was full of people in tourist groups.A lot of people, noisy and crowded especially for breakfast and dinner. If you come later on breakfast or dinner (last hour), had poor choice of prepared food. For example: only two types of salads (normal 4), only three side dish (normal 6), a little meat, cold soup. Internet in the room and in the lobby was poor or slow (connection not work). The room with balcony is big enough and clean but with outdated equipment and with very small, old super-mini television.Staff are friendly. Location of the hotel is good. In the vicinity of the hotel are beautiful beaches. You can find beautiful nudist (wild) beach. Hotel charges a fee of € 4 if you would like to pay by credit card (but just for non-croatia credit card)!

Large modern hotel catering to tours but welcoming to independent travels/bikers. Very clean large, comfortable rooms. Good beds, nice linens. Storage room for bicycles but no pumps or tools provided. Huge dinner buffet at low cost but of mediocre quality. Breakfast, included and good.

Dear Marisa, We can gladly offer you a cabana in one of our 2 beach bars, but we do not have a swimming pool in our resort. The Lounge bar Jadran is a part of the hotel Jadran and the cabanas there are directly on the beach side. Cabana bar&more is a lounge bar in our campsite Njivice. The bar is situated on the pebbly beach under shadow of oak trees. The price varies, but usually includes a cabana with two deck chairs and a discount on the offer of the lounge bar or sometimes even welcome drinks. Please let me know if I can help you with more info. Best regards, Andrea Šuljić Marketing manager
