My wife and I visited this hotel in May, only half a month after they reopened. There weren't much people in it, so it was really calm at the moment. We took the cheapest room they got. It was on the 2nd floor, and had no balcony. Nevertheless, there was a beautiful view to the sea. The room had luxurious feel to it, although it felt a bit non-modern (I really don't have any complaints about that). The carpet was really thick (about 2-3cm), and you could comfortably walk barefoot on it. The accommodation that we got had one king size bed, with TV and work table in the same room. Although it sounds cramped, the room looked spacious. The only complaint I had was the shower. It was very very small, about 70x90cm, but that's not the worst part. Floor inside a shower had a slope so big you could slip while showering. And the shower was not properly sealed, so the water was coming out of it, leaving puddles in the bathroom. Therefore, showering experience was very inconvenient. On the bright side, the dinner was excellent, although a little bit pricey. What makes this hotel different is that the breakfast was served to the table, including tea, coffee, canapés, fruit, drinks, and everything else. The breakfast was really abundant, and it that wasn't enough, you could always ask for more. The staff was really friendly, especially the older gentleman called Mijo who was very communicative and warm without being overly intrusive. We could ask him anything, whether it was related to the hotel or the city, and he would always answer.

Not cheap but you get what you pay for and this hotel is more than full value and merits its 4 star hotel rating. The view over the harbour is stunning and every room has a sea view. The included breakfast is substantial and restaurant service equally exceptional. The rooms are very modern despite being in an older building and the AC is really effective - a must when it is 32C + (90F +) outside. Tara on reception was particularly helpful. One thing to note if you arrive by car - the hotel is at one end of a pedestrian only area, except you can drive through it to the hotel parking. But you must contact the hotel by phone when you arrive at the only access point which is just past all the motorbikes and scooter rentals and near the aquarium. The hotel will then lower the two bollards which are located right inline with a pedestrian crossing/crosswalk. You will get surprised looks from pedestrians as you drive very slowly to the hotel!

Enjoyed there last year. Probably the best hotel in Krk and position of it is amazing, right in center, near the sea. Also the food in restaurant is very good. Great place to be if you want to explore Krk

Like almost everything in Croatia this hotel is to expensive. It's very hard to find, there should have been a warning before. Service at reception was excellent. Breakfast was a major disappointment, no buffet, just a meager breakfast served at the table. There were no eggs or bacon served! The room is very nice and our room had a very nice balcony.

Mixed feelings about this hotel. The setting in Krk town is very central, on the harbour wall as the name suggests. The website photos portray tranquil scenes which can only have been taken at five o clock in the morning before the hordes of boat trippers arrive. In reality, the hotel is set in a really busy area with touting for boat trips and a strip of touristy restaurants which practically surround you. The hotel itself was clean but disappointing lack of attention to detail in the rooms. The room also had a balcony but was not really worth paying extra for as the view was a line of boat trip stands, with the attendants looking up at you from 7 in the morning until 10-11 at night (they work hard in fairness to them). Breakfast was disappointing as delivered to table on a trolley with with no real choice- just got what they had on offer which was luncheon-meat type offerings and easy single cheese - bit miserly. Croissants were tasty though. Service and welcome at reception was also poor and unusual to insist on payment up front as you arrive, despite having our credit card details from the original booking - not very welcoming. If you are driving be aware that it is difficult to find the hotel as it is in a pedestrian zone with the nearest parking on the street about 300m away. We had to ask a local where the hotel was and what the parking arrangements were. Overall would not return and could not really recommend this hotel.
