This was literally the only place open for food the night we stayed in Cairanne but it definitely wasn't a disappointment. We were greeted by a lovely lady and were given a glass of sparkling rose and snacks as soon as we'd sat down. For main, we both had steak which was very tasty and then for pudding we had...

We stayed here for two nights on a cycling holiday. The building with the hotel rooms in is on the junction of two roads so if you think you will be bothered by traffic noise you might want to give it a miss...but we didn't notice the traffic. The rooms are simple and comfortable. There is a small honesty bar...

Spent several nights here and dined at the wonderful restaurant. The restaurant is in a beautiful old house with a warm welcome. The food was great and the wine was out of this world. We were overwhelmed by the wine list full of local wines, but the owner was only too happy to recommend a very reasonably priced local red....

Don't mention the noise from the traffic that passes on both sides of the hotel Don't mention the clutter in the 'reception' area Don't mention the shabby guest rooms Don't mention the smell of perfumed cleaning products Don't mention the dirty cups Because, if you do, you'll be thrown out of the hotel by the angry proprietor, as I was....

This is a small country hotel serving fabulous food and with an extensive wine list. The food really is top notch with a good choice on the menu. When the weather is fine sit on the terrace with a view of the mountains. The wine list is very local but as the area has 35 vineyards this is not a...

We visited Auberge as part of our cycling holiday, spending 2 nights with our charming hosts. The rooms were very comfortable with good ensuite shower facilities and excellent air conditioning. The buildings were well maintained and the swimming pool was very clean and well looked after. As the weather was warm and sunny we decided to eat breakfast and dinner...

Auberge Castel Mireio is in a good location near Cairanne several kilometers Gigondas. There are nice garden and small pool. We had clean basic room, bath with shower, comfortable. The evening dinner was very good. Charming owner and husband who is the chef. We had some bottles of local Cairanne wine from the owners brothers wineyard. There are very good.

A great location for the Cotes du Rhone Villages and the other non wine based attractions of the Vaucluse. Good rooms but the real charm is in the restaurant with its old world ambiance. The dinner menu was limited but none the worst for that and the pleasant and swift service was a welcome change from that we had experienced...

We stayed one night at Auberge Castel Mireio and really liked it! We were four people and got to stay in a little separate house on the premises. It suited us perfectly! We could wash our clothes an dry them outdoors in the nice garden. We had the pool all to ourselves! The hotel is plain, but well managed. We...
