Very nice and cosy place to stay. Dinner and breakfast are excellent and service is so correct. The owner gave us a lot of information about the "bio" products they use in their kitchen. We had a very very good time and went back several times when we were in the Aubrac.

Lovely old manor house. Nice table d'hôtes dinner for 26 euro per head . Good sized room with a nice view . Wasn't able to book into the hotel early as reception closed until after 4.00pm . The food and wine we had were very good and the hotel is easy to find, midway between Estaing and Espalion .

Walking across France and the Owner came in his car to collect me from Estaing and dropped me back there the next day. The Manor House is a little way out of town and is a boutique hotel with charm and style. Very comfortable and accommodation and bathroom very well appointed. Excellent diner and and breakfast the next morning. If... More

We received a warm welcome by the owner who is biligual frech and english. He does his utmost to make your stay pleasant and comfortable. My knee had been slightly injurd after many days of walking the Way and he provided me with ice packs to bring down the swelling. We stayed for 2 nights and had wonderful dinners and... More

Whilst the hotel is a little way out of town the Proprietor had offered to collect us from the town centre and deposit us back again after a delightful night of relaxation and fine dining - after a fine breakfast we were happy to resume our pilgamage along 'The Way of St.Jacques'

This is a charming, comfortable hotel with delicious food. We were given a warm welcome by the host who is very knowledgeable about what to see in the area and is passionate about local produce and wines. He speaks excellent English. Our room was small and decorated in a "French chateau" style. There is a great deal of attention to... More

We stayed at Le Manoir de la Fabregues only for one night, but we are already planning to return there for a longer period of time. The building has been beautifully restored and decorated and the rooms were very clean and quiet - although our room was facing the road, we weren't disturbed by the relatively light traffic at night.... This lovely manor house has been very tastefully renovated by the owner, and was extremely atmospheric. The bedrooms were done out in a sort of 'Jane Austen' style - but with all mod cons and ample electric sockets (definitely not the norm!). The bed was lovely and comfortable, and as our room faced the side of the house, we weren't... More

This historic building has been lovingly restored, with an impressive lounge and light filled breakfast salon in a converted cellar. Dinner is excellent, a set menu, where choice would be pointless. Limited wines by the glass and bottle. The rooms (we saw several) are individually and beautifully decorated in period style, with modern bathrooms, ours even had separate toilet. Minor... More

We stayed here mainly to visit the Laguiole knife factory; it turned out to be the highlight of our trip across France. The location and room was great; the hosts are amazing and very friendly (and multi-lingual). The food......quite simply the best meal I have ever had (and I have eaten at multiple 3 star places). The duck confit was... More

“Our room was great. It was on the side of the hotel and there was a little noise from the nearby main road. I imagine if you are facing the main road it could be quite noisy. So, if you are unsure, ask for a side room.”
