The hotel is clean and comfortable and family run. Very quiet and serene setting. The restaurant is excellent and has food quality not found outside large cities. Service is excellent and the staff very helpful. The hotel is a hidden gem.

I regularly stay here on a business trip. The hotel is clean and the staff friendly. The rooms are clean with just enough comfort for 1 or 2 nights depending on which room you are allocated you could be in the annex which is a bit more expensive but have recently been refurbished with jaccuzi style bath tubs.

I stayed here with a friend while driving down to the Italian Riviera and at first only booked a room for somewhere to sleep. If honest at first I was not expecting much (as it was fairly cheap) but was very surprised once we arrived. The hotel is in a beautiful quiet typical French town and it is well presented...

I approached my arrival at this hotel/restaurant with trepidation, yet also an open mind, as it has received such mixed reviews. However, I have to say the parking was easy, (although insufficient places for all guests), and the welcome was warm. With a rather old dog, I was very grateful that the proprietor had very thoughtfully allocated us the room...

We stayed in room 47, one of many little cabins about 200 yards from the main hotel. It was tastefully decorated but the main claim to fame was the ability to squeeze beds, desk, shower, separate loo and wash basin area in a space no more than 9' x 15'. In fact our cabin on the Stena line boat going...

This is a small logos type hotel set in a tiny French village where be warned there is absolutely nothing else! The reception by the staff was friendly and efficient. The rooms are adequate but a bit shabby and we had the complimentary cobweb and hair in the bathroom. The bar area is hopelessly inadequate, just a few chairs crammed...

We spent two very pleasant nights at this hotel-restaurant in the off season. It is situated just south of Verdun and very accessible to some of the most important World War I battle sites. We asked for a slightly larger room (which gave us a sitting room with a love seat) which we appreciated given we'll be in France for...

We really enjoyed this nice quiet hotel. It is not a bustling , big city venue. It is in a quiet small village in an area where good hotels are hard to find. The staff was excellent, the restaurant very good. We were there in the off season so it was especially quitet. We toured many WWI sites, especially those...

For a Logis Hotel with 3 fireplaces and 3 cooking pots this hotel realy should have been better. Lets start positive...the staff were wonderful if a tad stretched while we were there recently for two nights. Now the 'observations'....booked through booking.com to get the 'best' price....which was only half a euro less than the standard back off the door room rate...so...

We decided to stay here on our way back from Antibes to Calais. We had spent the previous night of our journey at Lac de Bourget (also reviewed). We found that the town of Heudicourt was small, pleasant and blissfully peaceful. The room was adequate, the bathroom excellent with excellent 'wake the dead' shower pressure. We opted for half board...

“Check out their special offers if you are planning to stay more than one night. They seem to have several room+meal options that include local area activities, such as a day fishing on the lake. Don't be afraid of the annex, even though it's about a block away. It is very quiet and clean.”
