Have stayed in Sunroute Shinagawa a few times already and am quite happy to come back there everytime. The rooms are small (as always in Tokyo) but are squeaky clean and comfortable. The hotel staff are extremely polite and helpful. Strong and hi speed wifi in the lobby and in the room Breakfast spread is nice although repetitive everyday. The... More

This modern hotel, situated in the ‘Seaside Forest’ occupies the top 9 floors of a 22 story building. This has the advantage that there are views over the river terminal and beyond, which are especially interesting at night when it is all lit up. The rooms are clean, of a good size and wonderfully quiet. We heard no noise at... More

Generally, whenever I travel to Japan on work, I expect a very small room with little place to move around. However, this hotel gave me enough space and comfort. The other advantage for its proximity to the train station which enabled us to go to Tokyo Big Sight very easily - just 3 stations away - very convenient.

Only stayed overnight as I arrived into Haneda at around 10pm. From Haneda Airport you can jump on the Airport Limosine bus and its only 500yen. The bus stopped right infront of the hotel. The journey took around 25 min. The room was small but comfortable. There is a Lawson Convenience store downstairs and the subway was also conveniently located... More

My daughter and I stayed at this hotel, which is located directly on top of the Shinagawa Seaside station on the Rinkai line. To get there, it's easier to take a cab from the bullet train station of Shinagawa, or, if you don't have too much luggage, catch a #93 Toei line bus( a 3 minute walk from the Takanawa... More

The hotel is very pleasant, it is close to the international airport (20 mins in a taxi) and there is a wonderful view over Tokyo Bay (and the contaIner port!) It has great and easy connections to central Tokyo as there is a metro stop right beneath the hotel and you can easily be in the Ginza district (shopping) within... More

My husband and I stayed here for 2 weeks. We got the queen with the deep tub and the blackout curtains, both wonderful to have. I thought the room was a perfect size although I do recommend to put your luggage in the closet space near door to save on room. I also got a great view of the mountains... More

The underground passage to the train station is super handy, and from there the whole city is your Oyster. You'll save a ton on cab rides! The rooms are small by Western Standards, but nice. There aren't enough plugs in the room, but the internet (Thankfully Hard Wired and WiFi) is super fast. You'll find extra plugs behind the mini... More

We arrived at 6am with a friend with a baby and we had a baby ourselves. We expected the hotel may be nice enough to give us at least one room for an early check in seeing as we arrived really early with 2 cranky toddlers but we were made to wait till 2pm. Either way when we got to... More

Given its proximity to Central Tokyo and its convenience for haneda airport the sunroute seaside is pretty good. Only a 4000yen cab ride if you can't be bothered with public transport which isn't that bad either Rooms were fairly spacious with a 'view' of the sea (although it's more of a view of the seaport) Didn't partake of the restaurant... Staying in Haneda / Kamata

Neighborhood Profile
Haneda / Kamata
Haneda / Kamata is known for its airport with many hotels popping up with the increase in international flights. It’s also an area that offers many shrines and temples with ancient origins including Anamori Inari Shrine or Ikegami Honmonji temple which is visited by more than 300,000 people in October's Buddhist Oeshiki festival. The area around Kamata station is lined with restaurants and is lively until late at night. In particular, it’s known for the large collection of tasty gyoza specialists.
