I cannot express how amazing our stay was. The staff are so attentive, nothing was too much trouble. Room was clean and the bed comfortable. We had a meal in the restaurant and it was excellent. I highly recommend this hotel. We will definitely be returning.

We were given vouchers as a gift from good friends and telephoned the day before to book our tea for two treat at the Cliff Hotel. It was a lovely sunny afternoon but as it was half term the terrace was busy and we choose to use the lounge so that we were not amid the noise of families and...

Our stay at the Cliff Hotel was very pleasant. We got it on an excellent groupon offer so the value was superb and even included a free bottle of wine! The room was very small but perfectly nice and the shower was very good. If I booked again I would make sure to book a room with a sea view....

I haven't been to The Cliff for several years, but a friend and I were in Gorleston for the afternoon, and thought we'd try out the lunch menu here. Although we ate in the restaurant, I noticed the large conservatory style edition, that I thought was very elegant, and would be fabulous in the summer!. I had cod and chips,...

Four of us booked for afternoon tea or Friday 17th Feb. We were not disappointed. A warm welcome from the start; all the staff were friendly and helpful. Maggie was particularly lovely and took the time to check all was ok with us. A lovely spread of sandwiches, tasty little savory flans and beautifully presented sweet treats were presented impressively...

There are often private functions held in the hotel at night so if noise until midnight is an issue you may want to think...

Also there is a TV in the front room and in the bedroom. Hair dryer and ironing board in wardrobe. All room extras like tea, coffee, hot choc and sugar and...

My wife and I were attending a funeral in the area and stayed at this hotel for two nights at the end of January. The welcome was warm and friendly. The room we booked overlooked the sea and beach and was very comfortable and clean. Breakfast each morning was to a good standard and the service was very attentive. Maggie...
