B&B in a early 19 century building with a lot of original features still there. You will dream away in your spacious room in a very large bed with a nice view of the gardens. Only one room on the first floor. The room was a bit dusty and spiders lurking from outside in to the room. The owners are...

Thank you so much for your review. Sorry about the spiders! It is an old house with lots of nooks and crannies and the spiders soon find a way in. It was good to meet you and I do hope the remainder of your trip was successful.

We arrived to be greeted by our lovely hosts who brought tea and home-made cake (delicious) into the garden for us all to enjoy. They were very kind to our children and our dog (which was being quite a nuisance, chewing the croquet set and skidding around the lawn) and our rooms were spacious, spotless and with a beautiful view....

I thought I had responded to your review but it seems not! Anyway thank you very much for it. We really enjoyed meeting you and your two lovely girls and of course Pippie too. It was sheer delight to be treated to the wonderful hospitality that Diana and Chris gave us, especially as were we unable to arrive until 10 p.m. The arrangement for time of breakfast had been made when our friend booked the stay for us, and Diana had left a note so we could choose our menu for the breakfast and...

Host was a little curt when booking and on arrival. We were asked what time we'd like breakfast however weren't offered a time. We asked what time was on offer to avoid being rude which the host replied 'well not too late obviously' which I felt was a little abrupt. The room was large and bed very clean and comfortable...

5Diana, Owner at Greystones House, responded to this review, 16 Jun 2016 Thank you for your comments. I apologise if I was a ‘little curt’ when you reached our home. Having arrived very late for the wedding and in a rush there was no time for a drink and my normal welcome. I shall check the bathroom more carefully in...

We arrived at tea time to be greeted by Diana and Chris and shown to our magnificent spacious room overlooking the garden and countryside. Back downstairs we were served with delicious cake and tea around a log fire - in a gorgeous lounge especially for our use. It felt immediately as if we were staying with friends. The room amenities...

Well, what can I say.... Greystones really is a gem. We stayed there for a couple of days between Christmas and The New Year as we decided it really was WAY too cold and wet for camping, and couldn't have made a better choice. From the moment we arrived we were made to feel so very welcome by Diane and...

We stayed here for a few days, and it was such a pleasant experience. We were greeted by the Hoare's and made to feel at home (a home made sponge cake awaited us) instantly after a long drive with a child. Their house is situated in beautiful grounds- including a tennis court. Diana's attention to details was much appreciated, every...

We were given a very warm welcome from Diana, and shown to a lovely room overlooking the gardens. There was nothing that we could have asked for - every whim was catered for - and the beds were very comfortable. If you are in this area, I would stay here - you won't find a better place!
