Aizuya Inn has everything you need from guide books and travel tips to a washing machine and a nearby grocery store. It's a few metro stops from the center of Tokyo in a very calm and quiet neighbourhood, which offers a welcomed break from the buzz of the city. Raoul is a great host and the night staff Tama is also very kind and helpful. The atmosphere was welcoming and warm, we felt right at home. Overall we had a very pleasant stay and would recommend Aizuya Inn to anyone staying in Tokyo!

The rooms and facilities are small, but more than adequate. The provided breakfast (cereal and milk) is is a welcome comfort. The location is not exactly central to the city of Tokyo, but it's easy enough to reach mass transportation to get wherever you want to go. Finally, the pricing is quite decent. The owners of this hostel obviously put a lot of effort into making it an appealing place for young people travelling alone or with friends. With modern decorations, the place has the feel of a college dorm, and I think that's great for the kind of travelling that would warrant a stay in a hostel. It will be on my list of places to consider staying when I return to Japan someday.

it a really nice place. and the people there is also really nice. the rooms are small, and if you have a heavy bag, it a long way form the train station. but other than that. was it a great stay. so if you can live with the room is small and you have to walk some go get to the train station. you will not find anything better in that price range

A really cozy place with super friendly staff. The rooms were spacious and clean, with great views. Wasn't too busy when I went either which was nice. In a great location too with easy access to a lot of must see places like Ueno.

You instantly felt right at home, and the atmosphere was very relaxed. After some getting used to, the beds (futon-style) wasn't that bad, and all in all I'd love to (and I hope I can) come back to visit again.
