Great value and location in the heart of Asakusa. Modern and clean private room and excellent and helpful staff. It is a absolutely recommended hostel for budget travelers. One of the best location in Asakusa

As it was walking distance to the Asakusa Station, this hostel was conveniently located to suit our needs. We booked a room that had its own bathroom. The shower was in one room and the other bathroom facilities were in another. As advertised, you could pay to rent a towel or you bring your own. The sleeping arrangement for two... More

So to set it straight up, there's the thing which bothered me the most: payment method. The hostel lists that you can pay with the credit card, yet when I wanted to pay with the credit card, they included 5% more, as there's fee for paying with a card. Either list the end price, or don't accept cards! I hate... More

I stayed in this hostel for 2 nights and it was amazing! Unlike many hostels in Tokyo whose has limited space, this hostel have enough space for you to put your luggage and do some packing/unpacking stuff in your room. Their location is great, too. Not very far from Sensoji-temple and Tawaramachi or Tsukuba Express Station. I stayed in mixed... More

very comfortable hotel, nice hotel service. very close to area attractions and tobu asakusa station. I really enjoyed the convenience of staying at this hotel. the price is very friendly for a traveler like me 😊. I really liked the room quadruple because of the location of the bathrooms are in the room.

Went here alone for 3 nights, booked a mixed room 10 bunk. was initially nervous being by myself. Made friends very quickly, always guests around who want to chat etc. Staff were exceptional and so knowledgeable about the local area. Fantastically clean, comfy bunks and a great bar with reasonable prices. I wouldn't hesitate recommending this place to fellow travellers.

The hostel is located in the traditional area of Asakusa, which is nice itself. Traveling to other parts of Tokyo might involve some walking though, but not more than one kilometer. This hostel was very busy and quite big. We got excellent customer service as always in Japan, they had an excellent kitchen and the beds were comfortable. The reason... More

The staff are just incredibly cheerful, helpful and friendly, really great people. Maru was specially very friendly and always responsive to any inquiries of suggestions. I have stayed for 3 nights at the deluxe 6-bed dorms, the dorms are clean, quiet and the bed was really really comfortable! The hostel is very accessible by Tsukuba express line or the Asakusa... Staying in Ueno, Asakusa

Neighborhood Profile
Ueno, Asakusa
Traces of the history and culture of the Edo (old Tokyo) era remain vividly in Ueno and Asakusa. Spacious Ueno Park is a great place to relax and visit a variety of different museums and galleries. At Ameyoko which starts in front of Ueno station, the grocery stores and clothing shops are crammed alongside fishmongers. It gets particularly busy at the end of the year, when many people go on shopping sprees. The town of Asakusa, developed around Sensoji temple, has many shops selling goods and clothing from old Japan, making it a great place for souvenir hunting. It's also known for various annual festivals, and the whole district gets involved with the huge Sanja Festival in May.
