It is everything you need, in one compact place. It bills itself as a place for business people on travel, and it is. The rooms are small, yes (this is Japan), but the amount of stuff that you get in that small space is mind-boggling. I had a huge bed (with the softest hard pillow ever), a writing table, a fridge, and even a TV (which in these times seems a bit redundant -- they could surely use that space for something better). There is of course an a/c, and a tiny bathroom -- with a tiny bathtub! Everything was immaculately clean. They even provided a Yakuta and slippers to wear. It is easy to get to from Narita if you don't have much luggage. Take the Keisei Skyliner to Ueno, the Ginza line to Asakusa, and the Toei Asakusa line to Asakusabashi, take the East exit, turn right, cross the street across from the Family Mart, and the hotel is a hundred feet from the corner, with an unmistakable sign at street level. Can't miss it. Lots of places to eat at nearby, and there is the aforementioned Family Mart for supplies and munchies. The front desk person was beyond helpful. I had a problem (of my own making) with the reservation, and he was understanding and accommodating, and we got everything sorted out without a fuss.

Located 2 minutes walking distance from Asakusabashi metro ( exit A1 and A3) and JR line ( East exit). Good shopping and eating options near the station. Indian restaurant Phulbari located nearby. It's a budget hotel. I will definitely recommend this hotel. WiFi and laundry service is available

We stayed by this hotel just for a one-night quick trip while going across Japan. This hotel fulfills all the basic necessities and was pleasant to stay in. We had some quick food nearby and then left early morning to catch a train.

Hubby and I got a Small Double Room. It’s 10sqm in size. The room is equipped with all the basics — bedroom slippers, yukatas (Japanese robes), dental kits, refrigerator, hair dryer, and TV. They also provide tea cups, complimentary green tea, and a small kettle on a burner. The bathroom is tiny. The toilet, sink, and shower/bathtub are all beside each other which is usual in Japan. I can imagine taller people or those with bigger and heavier builds having a bit of a problem with this. So far, all the hotels I’ve stayed at in Japan have provided Shiseido toiletries and Hotel Yanagibashi is no exception. This time we got Rinse In Shampoo (I think it’s 2-in-1 shampoo) and Liquid Body Soap. The room we got is honestly good for 1 person… or 1 adult and 1 kid. Two adults trying to sleep in such a small double bed is quite difficult. We ended up pushing the bed to the wall so we could fully utilize the bed space. Although small and rather worn, the room is clean. There is also free wifi that’s speedy and reliable. The best thing about this hotel is the location. It is close to a lot of restaurants like Sukiya, Matsuya, Doutor, Ikinari Steak, and lots more. The train station is close by too. Convenience stores abound in the vicinity — there’s Sunkus, Lawson, Aeon, and 7-11. It’s quite a robust neighborhood. The hotel owner (I assume he is the elderly man at the reception area) is super nice and accommodating. He would help us get taxis and print out maps for us when we needed to go somewhere specific, like the bus station for the airport shuttle. He even let us check in early because our assigned room was unoccupied anyway.

This hotel provides a nice place to rest up after spending the day out in the city. Very close to both Asakusabashi stations; the Metro is about a 1-2 minute walk while the JR is around 3-4 minutes if you get a green at the pedestrian crossing. If you arrived in Haneda, just take the Keikyu Airport Express to Asakusabashi and you won't have to transfer to any other trains, which is very convenient. Great location If you're a sumo fan or like manga/anime/gaming/maid cafes. Ryogoku can be easily walked from here, as well as the Edo-Tokyo Museum (closed till March 31, 2018). Or you can take the JR and ride it till the next station. Akihabara is also just a JR station away (opposite direction). Asakusa is only a short ride away on the Metro, so you can get your Sensoji or Sky Tree fix as well. Shiseido soap and shampoo is provided, as well as a razor. Just bring a poof/loofah and you'll experience how much Shiseido soap lathers up. For drinking water, just boil the tap water in the electric kettle overnight/before heading out. Or just drink some hot green tea. Wifi is strong and steady (I was on the 4th floor). The fridge is big enough to stash a couple of Strong Zero's, 2 big bottles of tea, and a harem of onigiri. As for the bed and pillow, I actually found both to be rather comfortable and had no problems sleeping at all. But like what others have mentioned, this is a small room that is geared for resting/sleeping. If you're planning to spend a lot of time holed up in a hotel room, then this place might not be for you. If you're going to be out and about most of the day, then consider staying here because it is well worth it. The convenience of the location alone makes up for any shortcomings. *If you're going to check out before reception opens at 630AM, just let them know beforehand. I was checking out at 5AM and they just told me to leave the key at the desk.
