I stayed at this hostel for about two weeks and have nothing bad to say about it. It is really cheap - around ¥1900 a night. It is also in a great location. Right by some of the top sights in Asakusa and the subway station is only a few minutes away. I don't know what people complain about with...

This hostel is very well located and i wish to be far with my review. The staff were helpful but the rooms are very poor. I didn't find the same issues as other travellers with cleanliness . However overall every room needs a makeover and redecoration, there is shabby chic and then there is just plain shabbiness. Plus so many...

We stayed in a 6 bed dorm, but what we didn't realize when we booked was that we'd have to share the room not only with humans, but also with cockroaches. We tried to corner and kill them, but there was so much dirt and rubbish under the beds that they had more than enough opportunities to hide. We observed...

I was not impressed to say the least. I've stayed in many hostels all over the world..... I'm ok with basic, but not ok with dirty. The pillows on my bed were dirty and no pillowcases were provided, there were no trashcans in the rooms nor the bathrooms (definitely not convenient for females), and everything was covered in dust.... Even...

The best thing about this hostel: the atmosphere and the location. 5 minute walk to Asakusa station and you're really close to Tokyo tower. I stayed on the 4th floor in a mixed dorm. The bed was ok, great air con in the room. Unfortunately the bathroom was very dirty and the amenities were very old. They have a bar...

I stayed in Asakusa smile almost a week. The rooms were ok but the showers a bit smelly. The staff is super nice, and I made great friends in the bar downstairs. I've been to hostels where the bars are really noisy and disturb people, but didn't have that problem here.

The hostel is good located 10 minutes walk to lively area of Asakusa. The comfort and cleanliness of the rooms and common areas significantly varies according to the building you are allocated. The normal general building is a big smelly on the stairs and kitchen, and showers and bathrooms are not very clean. The Bekan building (some female dorms) ,...

Cheap cheap hostel a few minutes away from Asakusa station. The accomodation is kind of basic, odeal if you plan to spend out your day and you just need a bed to crash at night. Wifi included, shared toilet-showers are fairly clean.

In the midst of Tokyo's district Asakusa you find the AS House (Asakusa Smile). This hostel is the starting point for discoveries almost indispensable. Numerous attractions, such as the Tokyo Skytree, within walking distance within 20 minutes. When shopping, there are some Konbini in the nearby area. The hostel itself is getting a bit old and not more modern. The...

The staff was helpful, you will be welcomed with a free drink in the bar downstairs. The rooms are quite tight but everything clean. There are 2 showers in a same space and not so good for the people who need privacy and silence. The price is nice and the location as well (just need to spent 170 yuan from...
