Shinjuku
Shinjuku is the commuting capital of Tokyo, and contains the busiest train station in the world. To the west, there's an office district with the Tokyo Metropolitan Government Office at its center. To the east, there’s a district with long-established department stores, cinemas and theaters. Shinjuku Gyoen is a park originally built as the garden for the Imperial Household. It is quite famous as a venue for cherry-blossom viewing in March and April. In Shinjuku, many restaurants operate all night, and districts such as Omoide Yokocho (Memory Lane) or Shinjuku Golden Machi have back streets filled with tiny restaurants and bars that reflect each owner’s unique taste and style.

I tried to find ryokan in tokyo, and found takemine. The room was super spacious. It has separate living room, bed room, semi air bath and even the indoor bath tub. They provide complete amenities from comb until hair tonic event curling hair, hair clip, hair band. They also provide free handy phone, and have free flow drink in certain times include red wine. There are 2 tvs in the room for the living room and bed room. The minus only the location, this ryokan is near residence mostly not near the shopping mall but they near to station shimo ochiai. But if you want to find spacious room in tokyo. This must be fit.

We wanted to feel how it is to stay in a ryokan and fortunately, we found Miyabiyado Takemine being recommended when we did a Google search. The great thing is that there is a 50sqm room category that provides a semi open-air bath (onsen) with no view (for privacy) AND a separate huge, deep bathtub all at once. We had that room and omg, it's amazing. My 4yo daughter and I soaked ourselves in the open-air bath while my husband got all the bathtub to himself. The whole atmosphere from right outside the ryokan, to the lobby and to your room feels so so peacefully Japanese. Great place to unwind after touring the city. Staff were polite and very helpful. As we are Muslims, they were very thoughtful about our meals which we respect them for it. If you have any dietary restrictions, please do not ever hesitate to contact them as they will reply you so promptly to provide assistance. My email correspondences were replied by a Mr. Yoshi, who assisted me all along. On the 2nd floor is a Relaxation room, where there were 2 massage chairs, a library, seating area, Nespresso and juices to help you to wind down. It's amazing. We had an amazing, amazing time at this ryokan!

We are so glad we started our trip to Japan by staying at Miyabiyado Takemine. We spent our initial 4 days in Tokyo here and it couldn't have been better. The location is great - just far out enough to feel like a bit of a break from the hectic main areas of Tokyo, but also very easy to reach by train using a Pasmo card (the station is about a 1 minute walk from the hotel). The room was spotlessly clean, larger than most Japanese hotel rooms and we found the king size bed very comfortable. There are some excellent amenities in the room (hot brush, toiletry packs ) and a selection of skincare products that left my skin feeling great! We really loved the relaxation room, where there are drinks to help yourself to (juice, wine, coffee etc) and a couple of FABULOUS massage chairs - after a long day walking round Tokyo they were amazing for soothing tired muscles! Breakfast was included in our price and again it was absolutely lovely - we had the Japanese breakfast the whole time we were there and thoroughly enjoyed it. The staff were kind and welcoming too. All in all, we would not hesitate to recommend Miyabiyado Takemine for anyone looking to stay in Tokyo and we would love to stay again in future!

We were looking for a comfortable hotel in Shinjuku. We found this in our search. It appeared to be clean, reasonable and in the right location. We booked, having no clue it was such a traditional hotel. The rooms were large, beautiful. The bathrooms were huge. And don't get me started on the breakfast! It was amazing! It was a decently short walk to the nearest sub station. I would highly recommend!

We stayed in Miyabiyado Takemine for four nights in a superior room. We are absolutely satisfied with this ryokan as it is very spacious compared with other hotels in Tokyo. There was a living room where my boy slept on the Tatami and we slept in the partitioned room. You can lay open your big suitcase freely in this hotel of which you might not be able to do so in city hotels in Tokyo. The bathroom had a very big bath tub and a spacious shower room. This is to everybody's surprise in Tokyo. Breakfast was served in the room, either Western or Japanese style. You just tell the reception the night before what time you want to have your breakfast, then they will give you a call 15 minutes before the serving time and arrange for you in the room. The ryokan was located few stations away from Shinjuku. However, we found this is still a convenient place to stay. The neighbourhood was quite quiet and there was not much to see. You may find 1-2 small local restaurants nearby. The good thing is there was a convenient store just across the corner of the hotel. The only down side: there was not much storage space (cabinet or drawers) for guests to put store their clothes.

Needless to say, we keep making efforts to provide every guest our quality service and make them feel cozy during stay. However, I must apologize for bothering you with the inconvenience of storage space and we have just only closet in the guest rooms.
