It was a simple hotel. Got lost searching for it the first time. It was near C7 exit Shinjuku-sanchome (one stn away from the famous Shinjuku and Shibuya). Hotel is near Family Mart and few other convenience stores along the way from the C7 exit and hotel. Infact you can walk from Shinjuku to the hotel after knowing the area... More

Basically this is an old love hotel that is being recycled for budget travelers and it works. Good points: 1. Location - really in the center of Tokyo and right next to the gay area (Shinjku 2-chome and 3-chome). It is an easy walk from Marunouchi Shinjuku 3-chome station - opposite the large mens clothing store Sakazen - there is... More

After 2 years of staying in Singapore, working and just working, I had decided to go to Tokyo for a long trip just like the one I did 2 years ago in Seoul. Coincidentally, I read back the review I did for Noble Hotel, Seoul and it was exactly on the same date as today 2 June 2013 (and today... More

In Shinjuku just minutes walk from Shinjuku Sanchome station and an easy 15 minute walk to Shinjuku station, this hotel is in a great location. Our room was small but comfortable and it was kept very clean. The private bathroom had a great shower that was always hot.We were on the 5th floor and found it to be nice and quiet.... More

The location is good. It is within walking distance to Isetan and all the nightlife of Shinjuku. It is only 10 minute walking distance to Shinjuku station (where you can take the Narita Express train). The room is very small but clean. This hotel is only good for overnight stays to catch a flight...I would not stay here on vacation... More

This hotel was unremarkable but met our needs. There was enough signage along the streets that we were able to find it easily. One unusual part of this hotel however is that the guest rooms are split between two buildings with an annex connecting them. We were on the far side on the 5th floor. Our room had wifi, television,... More

The hotel is situated far from the shinjuku subways. It is difficult to make your way to the hotel because the shinjuku subway is so big and there are too many exits! But then, their service is good! The cleaners greets you good morning everyday and the counter staffs are helpful and friendly! Best of all, the counter staffs understand... More

Staying in Shinjuku

Neighborhood Profile
Shinjuku
Shinjuku is the commuting capital of Tokyo, and contains the busiest train station in the world. To the west, there's an office district with the Tokyo Metropolitan Government Office at its center. To the east, there’s a district with long-established department stores, cinemas and theaters. Shinjuku Gyoen is a park originally built as the garden for the Imperial Household. It is quite famous as a venue for cherry-blossom viewing in March and April. In Shinjuku, many restaurants operate all night, and districts such as Omoide Yokocho (Memory Lane) or Shinjuku Golden Machi have back streets filled with tiny restaurants and bars that reflect each owner’s unique taste and style.
