It is extremely small, but nice. It is a good value and the location is amazing. Right next to Shinjuku station. We stayed here for about 3 weeks.

We only stayed at this hotel for a few hours, but it was exactly what we needed. Located just steps from the subway entrance, it was easy to find, and the staff was very friendly and helpful even late at night when we went in to inquire about a room. Yes, the room was small, but we were only on...

I stayed at this hotel for four nights. It is a very small hotel, but convenient enough to visit the sites of Tokyo. Don't expect much in hotel amenities though. You wouldn't want to stay here if you had a family and expected to have a lot of in-hotel/in-room experiences. I would suggest this hotel for solo, friends, business, and...

Great location, very easy to get to shinjuku - it's just a ten minute walk away. Rooms are pretty small but for the price they are fine, clean and comfortable. No wifi - but you don't seem to get wifi in Tokyo that much. They do rent out routers for 1000yen a night.

This hotel was absolutely the hotel I needed. I stayed here for 2 nights on my business trip and have to say it suits nearly all my demands, if I travel on a business purpose. The hotel was clean, the staff was friendly and professional, but the rooms are really very small. I already read some reviews for this hotel...

I stayed at the hotel for one night on a business trip, and the stay was great. It is located on next to B2 Exit at Higashi Shinjuku Station on O-edo and Fukutoshin line. Single bed room has not spacious but well enough space to stay. I satisfied variety and taste of breakfast. I will stay there again.

In Tokyo, if you don't want to pay the big dollars, you cannot expect to have the space that you would find in a north american hotel. We travel and we need to adjust our expectations, for sure. But the most important thing in our planification was to be able to go from one area to another by metro during...

My first stay in Tokyo, so I wasn't prepared for how small the rooms really are, here. This is SO tight for 2, especially with luggage for extended travels. But the cleanliness, quiet, and friendly staff made up for any tight adjustments necessary. Not much of a lobby. Just a couple of oversized benches, so if you're meeting others, there...

Staying in Shinjuku

Neighborhood Profile
Shinjuku is the commuting capital of Tokyo, and contains the busiest train station in the world. To the west, there's an office district with the Tokyo Metropolitan Government Office at its center. To the east, there’s a district with long-established department stores, cinemas and theaters. Shinjuku Gyoen is a park originally built as the garden for the Imperial Household. It is quite famous as a venue for cherry-blossom viewing in March and April. In Shinjuku, many restaurants operate all night, and districts such as Omoide Yokocho (Memory Lane) or Shinjuku Golden Machi have back streets filled with tiny restaurants and bars that reflect each owner’s unique taste and style.
