I stayed here for two nights before going to more permanent accommodations, and this was a great place to stay. The staff was incredibly nice and helpful, and the rooms are a decent size for Tokyo. They are smaller than some of the other hotels I've stayed at, but definitely a good size if you're just exploring Tokyo. The location... More

Central to shinjuku sightseeing , meji shrine, government building, and train line.its also a pickup for the viator Mt. Fuji trip, which I recommend! The room we had was a city view concierge room. The room was larger than most Asian standard rooms and bead was comfortable not to hard. I recommend upgrading with points or cash. The breakfast was... More

Enjoyed my two days at the hotel. I thought the location was appropriate and walked to most places I wanted to visit in Shinjuku. I used the shuttle to the airport as well. The room was spacious and had a great view. Did not eat at the hotel's restaurants but had fantastic meals nearby which were recommended by he concierge.... More

Tokyo Hyatt is located in the heart if this great metropolis. food is superb, free shuttle to and from Shinjuku stations runs all day on time. Tokyo Hyatt is a hotel pickup stop for bus tours. nice facility, friendly staff and again a great central location.

We stayed one night in Shinjuku and stayed at the Hyatt Regency. The location was pretty good and the view from the rooms was nice. We are a family of 4 (two adults two kids ages 10,11) so had to get two rooms for everyone to be able to have a bed (only 3 people can stay in one room).... More

Stayed here twice on our japanese trip. Beautiful hotel, friendly staff. Tried three of the restaurants and was impressed by them. Dont be surprised at the prices in the restaurants. $100 aud per head is not unexpected. The french restaurant is a michellin star rated restaurant, so.... would go back in a heart beat.

The Hyatt Regency in Shinjuku is one of the grand old dames, still in relatively good shape. In the past I found it a good business hotel, now its more touristy and louder and queues are horrendous in the morning for breakfast (head instead to the much much quieter B1 cafe which serves continental breakfast.. pastries and coffee .. or... Staying in Shinjuku

Neighborhood Profile
Shinjuku
Shinjuku is the commuting capital of Tokyo, and contains the busiest train station in the world. To the west, there's an office district with the Tokyo Metropolitan Government Office at its center. To the east, there’s a district with long-established department stores, cinemas and theaters. Shinjuku Gyoen is a park originally built as the garden for the Imperial Household. It is quite famous as a venue for cherry-blossom viewing in March and April. In Shinjuku, many restaurants operate all night, and districts such as Omoide Yokocho (Memory Lane) or Shinjuku Golden Machi have back streets filled with tiny restaurants and bars that reflect each owner’s unique taste and style.
