If you have to be in the Shinjuku business district then this has to be one of your options. Enormous towers of hi-tech but somewhat impersonal so not for everyone. Rooms well equipped and views of Tokyo from the higher floor levels are stunning.

Keio Plaza is very well located within 5-10 minute walk to Shinjuku station. Shinjuku is a must go neighborhood for tourism and its station is well connected with other important sightseeing places. There are nice places to have lunch/dinner within walking distance from the hotel. The wifi was included in the daily rate and worked very well. Rooms are quite...

Keio Plaza's location is excellent. It's very accessible to the Shinjuku station (a few minutes walk) and right next to the Tokyo Metropolitan Gov't Office. The hotel staff of Keio Plaza is excellent. They speak good English, and provide excellent service. Our experience at Keio Plaza was one of th best. I would definitely go back to Keio Plaza 😊😊😊

The location is great, very close to the Shinjuku station, which is one of the largest stations in the world. Approximately 5 minute walk. It's very close to Lawson's/711 and a bunch of ramen restaraunts. The rooms are reasonably sized but ask for a non smoking room. The wifi connection isn't so great, many times it disconnected or would continuously...

The hotel covers an entire block: two 40 storey towers, tens of restaurants on two floors, lobby as large as a cathedral etc... If you like cosy places, pass your way ! The Standardroom I had (room 1959 South-Wing) was very spacious and calm, but the decoration ages out and would benefit from a serious refresh: wall-paper discolored, stained and...

We chose Keio Plaza Hotel for this trip as we knew that it was the meeting point for our Tour which we got from Japanican.com. It was very convenient. Quick service, accommodating staff. We were upgraded to a large room in the south tower and couldn't have been happier. Very clean, patchy wifi in our room. Lifts were speedy, location fabulous. Peaceful although close to Shinjuku station, with many restaurants and bars on the way to the station. Recommend it highly.

Staying in Shinjuku

Neighborhood Profile
Shinjuku
Shinjuku is the commuting capital of Tokyo, and contains the busiest train station in the world. To the west, there's an office district with the Tokyo Metropolitan Government Office at its center. To the east, there’s a district with long-established department stores, cinemas and theaters. Shinjuku Gyoen is a park originally built as the garden for the Imperial Household. It is quite famous as a venue for cherry-blossom viewing in March and April. In Shinjuku, many restaurants operate all night, and districts such as Omoide Yokocho (Memory Lane) or Shinjuku Golden Machi have back streets filled with tiny restaurants and bars that reflect each owner’s unique taste and style.
