This hostel is in a nice location. Trees and river nearby with fairly quiet streets but still full of eating places and shops. Next to Iidabashi Station which is very convenient. Quadruple room fairly spacious with large window overlooking the city. Beds comfortable with good clean sheets and soft woollen blankets. Breakfast worth the 600 yen price. Room prices good...

This no frills place offers friendly service and represents value for the budget conscious. Rooms are reasonably spacious and everything is very clean. The beds are hard by western standards but we had a quad room for two people and so used two mattresses each. The communal showers and toilets were better than expected. Water temperature and pressure were good...

The location was nice because underneath the building was a train station. The beds can be better, the showers were nice, the airconditioning takes some time to get used to, the breakfast was okay and the wifi was great.

Affordable and everything you need is right here. You can experience a mini Onsen for free, communal dining, and Japan's trademark of being clean, simple and organized. The view at night and day is spectacular and what I liked most about the hostel is its less than 50 steps away from the JR Train Station. (Iidabashi) There are also a...

I stayed here in February 2016 and it was clean, comfortable, and centrally located on both the metro and regional trains. Very easy to get around. The showers were busy but nice. Be aware that if you're out past 11pm you'll be locked out until 6am the next day. I had to pull an all nighter out on the clubs...

This hostel is in a fantastic central location. By Japanese standards the rooms are enormous and very clean and comfortable - easily the biggest and best rooms I've stayed in whilst in Japan. We also had an amazing view from a huge window overlooking the city - it felt like we'd really scored a lot of our money! The only...

I stayed here in September. On a few floors up in a building. Room had bedding for 4 with an extra on a fold out bed from the couch. Seperate areas for boys and girl except for dining areas. Toilets were separate to showers. Have to undress before entering shower room, however is inclosed. Towels can be rented for I...

I stayed four nights. It was really easy to find. Great location and views. Lots of space in the dorms. Very clean. The staff were really nice and welcoming. Downside is the curfew and as with all the places I stayed in Japan hard pillows. They seem to be made out of grain.

This is a very friendly hostel, it is located just next to JR station, with great food within a 10 min walk. The staff there is also very friendly and helpful. And they got locker for each person, an Osen bath in bathroom, Wifi, and breakfast~ Virtually they got everything that you need. The only downside for me: the bed...

A bit hard to find, but this may help: Take exit B2a or B2b at Iidabashi station, then you're right at the bulding. The hostel has very friendly staff, a nice onsen, and a great location because it sits on top of several subway lines, Chuo Line being closest. My wife and I booked a room of 4 for just...

Staying in Yotsuya / Iidabashi

Neighborhood Profile
Yotsuya / Iidabashi
Yotsuya and Iidabashi are areas that developed around the outer moat of the Imperial palace. Nearby in Kagurazaka, there is an old red-light district with a photogenic feel evocative of the ambiance of old Tokyo. Narrow paths with stone paving remain to this day, and there are long-standing restaurants with geishas and quaint old cafes in townhouse buildings.
