I am at rm 206. The front person has told my friend that he could not go up to my room unless I paid an extra guest fee. My very good friend was bringing me a bag I left with him last week and I felt terribly embarrassed. I wanted to show him the room, some if the toys I had bought and give him a gift for his mom and have some time to chat. The guest policy was explained to me at check-in as not letting anyone sleep over or pay a 3000 yen guest fee. No one will be sleeping over bit i have a lot of tokyo friends who are not local and want to chill with me before a meal. Also, I am an adult gay male in a famous gay neighborhood. What are they so afraid, especially since this hotel used to be a live hotel. I am so upset that I can't entertain guests in a room I paid for that I feel like leaving this hotel tonight and finding another.

Avoid this if you don't want to be cheated.

So we booked this hotel because it is near the subway station. We paid super high price for this (100,000 JPY for 3 nights for a Triple room). However, when we arrived, the hotel staff told us that the hotel was fully booked and they had to move us to the annex building, which is much further down the road and away from the subway Station. We booked the hotel 5 months in advance and already made payment through Agoda and they told us the main building was fully booked? Also, when we arrived at the annex, the room looked exactly the same as what they advertised. So conclusion is they will rent out both the main building and the annex but only mention the address of the main building.

I didnt expect such unethical act and lack of transparency from a Japanese business. Imagine our shock when this was what greeted us when we first arrived at Japan.

We voiced out our unhappiness and good lord the hotel staff didn't say a single word of apology. None. She didn't say anything, didn't give any explanation, didn't answer my questions. I asked to speak to the manager on the next day and she agreed. But during our stay, no one contacted us. All I needed was a simple apology but no one bothered to do so.

So fellow travellers, if you want to book this hotel because of the supposedly good location, think twice. You may end up in the annex like me.

Small and well located hotel (near the subway). We stayed in an accessibility room which guaranteed us a huge bathroom but a small room by adding the extra bed. The internet didn't work right. We do not use other services.

Booked 3 rooms on level 3 for our family travelling party of 7. Easy to check in, the ladies were very helpful with our luggage transfer paperwork, quite small rooms but clean & tidy, had what we needed, really easy access to the train system.

Would definitely stay here again

The worst customer service I ever experienced.
I’ve been on the road for six years and stayed in over a thousand hotels, so I've seen the good, the bad, and everything in between. But this place? Wow, just a whole new level of bad, and not in a good way.
Check-In Blues:
Check-in time here is at 3 PM, and I got there a bit early. Usually, if a room's ready, most places let you slide in early, right? Well, not here. I asked the person at the front desk—a reaction that was downright rude. It was clear right off the bat that they weren’t about making things easy or welcoming.
Check-Out Ordeal:
Then came the check-out disaster. Every hotel I know has a bit of wiggle room with check-out times. Here, they started blowing up my phone at 10:10 AM and by 10:15, they were literally knocking on my door. Talk about rushing you out!
When I was trying to leave, the scene got even crazier. They tried to slap me with an unexpected $1100 charge, and the receptionist wouldn’t stop yelling and pushing me. It ended with me handing over the last of my cash—1000 yen—and them still screaming for 100 more yen, even threatening to call the cops over it! They even followed me to an ATM. Seriously, over 100 yen?
Bottom Line:
This was by far the most ridiculous and humiliating hotel experience I’ve ever had. Do yourself a favor and steer clear of this place.
