Shinjuku is the commuting capital of Tokyo, and contains the busiest train station in the world. To the west, there's an office district with the Tokyo Metropolitan Government Office at its center. To the east, there’s a district with long-established department stores, cinemas and theaters. Shinjuku Gyoen is a park originally built as the garden for the Imperial Household. It is quite famous as a venue for cherry-blossom viewing in March and April. In Shinjuku, many restaurants operate all night, and districts such as Omoide Yokocho (Memory Lane) or Shinjuku Golden Machi have back streets filled with tiny restaurants and bars that reflect each owner’s unique taste and style.

The hotel is a stone’s throw away from Shinjuku South Exit (even nearer with the New South Gate imo) so it made travelling very easy. Lots of good food in the area within 5 minutes’ walk away. The location is 6-star, but the room was really tight for a family of 3. It was squeezy but still comfortable. The buffet breakfast was of good quality, and they had a variety. Not sure if they change the food options daily but they looked pretty much the same and I only stayed for 2 nights - not complaining cos it was really quite delicious 🙂 Check-out was fast and very efficient too.

Got to know of this place through a friend - it's his go-to accommodations in Shinjuku and will likely be ours if the price is right at the time of booking. The location is ace - about 5 mins walk from the station with food and shopping options in the vicinity. The aesthetic of the hotel is modern and chic and rooms are cozy and comfortable.

This is a very comfortable western style hotel about an hour from the city centre and an hour from Haneda Airport. There is an orange bus Airport Shuttle from Shinjuku Staion 5 mins walk away. Breakfast is a mixed buffet with a range of country styles. Staff are very helpful. McDonalds and KFC are outside. It is close to the very nice Gyoen Park (flower gardens) as well as a short stroll to the high rise (Observatory Metropolitan Government building 1)where you can go to the 45th floor and view the city skyline for free. Better than paying at Skytree! Also hundreds of very good reasonably priced cafes and restaurants nearby - both above and below ground, serving very fresh high quality seafood and beef and noodle menus for all the workers before they take their long train ride home from nearby Shinjuku Station. This train station has 3 million people using it each day! Easy to use and an ideal way to see Tokyo. Coffee is good at Cafes across the lane, but all allow smoking (ugh!). Would highly recommend this Hotel as a base to see Tokyo.

Stayed here for the second time we’ve come to Tokyo. Clean, comfortable and only minutes walk away from great food and the JR at shinjuku. Also literally down the road from Fuunji, the famous tsukamen place. They have good sized rooms (not huge but comfortable), tea and coffee amenities and even toothbrushes and hair brushes. No other facilities like a spa or gym - but spent most of the day out anyway. Just be aware only 2 lifts for about 16 floors so the wait can be awhile to get to your room. Reception also really polite and can recommend some great places to eat!

Convenient location to train and subway and restaurants/nightlife. Room was super tiny, barely room for a single suitcase. Breakfast was appreciated but we would appreciate a larger selection of Western foods- and everything was always cold!! Also, the lighting in the bathroom is so dark you might as well bring a flashlight! Also towels were thin as rags. Staff were nice and location was the biggest plus of staying here. Nothing was bad, but nothing stood out. Probably would try to find somewhere else to stay next time considering the price we paid.
