Unlike most Japan Hotels, this hotel has big rooms. The service was perfect, very clean rooms, and what's best is the location of the hotel which is beside Shinjuku station. The staff were kind and helpful and good English speakers. Every service you want you'll find it there. Such as, massage and Spa, free wi-fi, dry cleaning, etc... 100% recommended.

The staff was very accommodating. While a good hotel with a great location some of customer service was a bit lacking, however I think that as an New Yorker I sometimes expect the moon. The staff did everything within their power to make certain I made it to my tours on time, didn't get lost and met all of my...

The room ain't big. But the location and service compensates. It is not very cheap but reasonably priced. Stayed it many times over my trips and it is still my first choice. Got complimentary champagne during my honeymoon too! Great service.

The room is too small for a family room, there are not enough space for us to move and for our luggage. The location is good, there are many shops and restaurant nearby. And its not far from Shinjuku Station.

Couldn't be more happy with our stay at this hotel. Within a few minutes walk from Shinjuku Station, department stores and restaurants this hotel offered convenience, good amenities and friendly staff. From the lobby climb the stairs to a great little bar. The restaurant is Italian style and was acceptable not brilliant. Sega Freda a couple of minutes walk provided...

My first time at this hotel was back in June 2014, and it was great. I was scheduled to go again in April 2016, but had to cancel my trip (and hotel booking) literally a day before my flight because of a family emergency. Hotel Sunroute was very gracious in cancelling my booking and even wished my family well. I...

We spent three nights in a twin room. Location is great. It's a short walk to the Shinjuku Station. There's Takashimaya department store across the road which is excellent shopping and the top two floors have restaurants. It was a great base for our stay and we would stay again! My only complaint would be that the bed was very...

Stayed in this hotel with family last March 2017. The property is very accessible from Shinjuku station and may also be reached via the airport limousine bus. Avail of the twin room if you can since it has a bigger space compared to a standard room and may provide better mobility for its occupants. Room is clean with comfortable beds...

Staying in Shinjuku

Neighborhood Profile
Shinjuku
Shinjuku is the commuting capital of Tokyo, and contains the busiest train station in the world. To the west, there's an office district with the Tokyo Metropolitan Government Office at its center. To the east, there’s a district with long-established department stores, cinemas and theaters. Shinjuku Gyoen is a park originally built as the garden for the Imperial Household. It is quite famous as a venue for cherry-blossom viewing in March and April. In Shinjuku, many restaurants operate all night, and districts such as Omoide Yokocho (Memory Lane) or Shinjuku Golden Machi have back streets filled with tiny restaurants and bars that reflect each owner’s unique taste and style.
