Room was very clean but oh so small. No wardrobe (no room). Nowhere to put suitcases so you didn't trip over them. Staff were helpful. Hotel is modern. Normal size by Japanese standards but very small by western standards.
I stayed in this hotel for 4 nights.
My flight arrived in Narita at about 7:30 am, I walked up to the Airport Limousine bus counter and told the person at the counter I needed to go to Hotel Sunroute plaza Shinjuku. However, I was...More
Stayed at Hotel Sunroute Plaza Shinjuku for 4 days in early July. I chose it as it was the last stop for the Limousine Bus from Narita Airport and I felt it would add to the convenience of traveling to Shinjuku. The Front Desk staff...More
Nice looking lobby and overall modern hotel. Very close to train station and to all sorts of shopping.
Great selections for breakfast. Bedroom was predictably small but comfortable. Starbucks and McDonalds real close for those who are looking for familiar places.
The hotel staff was unpleasant. The bathroom smelt stale. The location is not good at all however the rooms were relatively bigger compared to others in Japan. It is close to Shinjuku station however there is no place to eat around it. There's no room...More

Shinjuku is the commuting capital of Tokyo, and contains the busiest train station in the world. To the west, there's an office district with the Tokyo Metropolitan Government Office at its center. To the east, there’s a district with long-established department stores, cinemas and theaters. Shinjuku Gyoen is a park originally built as the garden for the Imperial Household. It is quite famous as a venue for
cherry-blossom viewing in March and April. In Shinjuku, many restaurants operate all night, and districts such as Omoide Yokocho (Memory Lane) or Shinjuku Golden Machi have back streets filled with tiny restaurants and bars that reflect each owner’s unique taste and style.

I used a private transfer from Narita to the hotel. If the hotel had a shuttle, I am sure my tour company would have booked it. You can email the front desk at the Sunroute, but I don't think they have any shuttle service.Have you contacted the cruise line ? They may have a suggestion as to the best way to get to the cruise terminal. Hope you enjoy your stay at the hotel. Location is excellent!
