Stayed here for 3 nights. Rooms were comfortable with air- con and the beds were also very comfy. I was staying in the B block and I felt the washing facilities were quite far away and not very easy to find. in general, the buildings needed a lot of TLC, with broken appliances and peeling tatty paintwork. Advantages were an...

I went here for a youth summit in December. Paid a reasonable amount which included a single room, and 3 meals a day. The food was actually very good. There is also a convenience store inside the area. It's a beautiful place, actually, and it's near the train station. Wouldn't give it a perfect score because of the public bathroom....

I stayed here for 7nights for a conference. It is quiet and spacious. I love the garden especially when its sunny. Its close to Meiji shrine and Yoyogi Park. The Good : building D. I stayed in room 606. clean room, toilet and a view of shinjuku tall skyscrapers. The Bad: There weren't free wifi provided.

Reasonable price. Most rooms have 4-beds. There is a public large bath. In this center, there are so much green and space. Location is between Shibuya and Shinjuku, but quiet area. This center is next to Meiji-jingu shrine and Yoyogi park. You can access here by bus from Shibuya station, or walk from Sangu-bashi station of Odakyu line.

We were part of an international student group from the U.S. visiting Japan. We stayed at the NYC (that's what they call themselves) 2 times between July and August. The building we stayed at had communial bathroom, single room, and TV lounge. Very quiet and clean. We had to take care of our linen (supplied at a different building at...

Staying in Shibuya / Harajuku / Ebisu

Neighborhood Profile
Shibuya / Harajuku / Ebisu
There are countless opportunities to shop in the Shibuya and Harajuku districts, especially in shops that focus on Japan's "Kawaii" culture. The trendiest areas are around Shibuya’s Center district, Harajuku's Takeshita-dori and in Omotesando. If you need to recharge from all the shopping, you can easily refresh yourself in Meiji Jingu or Sasaki Park. In contrast, Ebisu has a more grown up ambiance of calm and cool. At the Museum of Yebisu Beer you can learn about the beer that was responsible for the town’s name, and enjoy dining at the popular noodle shops in the surrounding area.
