Haneda, Kamata
Haneda / Kamata is known for its airport with many hotels popping up with the increase in international flights. It’s also an area that offers many shrines and temples with ancient origins including Anamori Inari Shrine or Ikegami Honmonji temple which is visited by more than 300,000 people in October's Buddhist Oeshiki festival. The area around Kamata station is lined with restaurants and is lively until late at night. In particular, it’s known for the large collection of tasty gyoza specialists.

Hmmmm this is an unbelievable hotel, very small room but a little bigger bathroom. The bed is hard and the pillow is the same. We decided to have breakfast there , and the spread is small and little choices compared to the other breakfast we had . The price is US15, we think it’s expensive! The guys at the front desk are not friendly as the ladies. Only good about this hotel is that they have shuttles to the airport.

Great hotel for transit to or from Haneda airport. Shuttle provided at certain hours but the hotel is only 2 metro stops away by Keiku train at Anamori- Inori station ( 2 minute walk to hotel ). Easy check in. Lots of little restaurants nearby. Convenient store right in front of hotel. Room small but comfortable. Great breakfast with choice of Western and Japanese.

I missed my connecting flight because of a delayed departure at the origin. ANA put me up for a night in Tamadear Hotel in Haneda. Simple accommodation, staff is attentive, room is clean. Breakfast was available in the hotel but there are 3 convenient stores (7/11, Lawson and another one) on the same street and within walking minutes of each other. Shuttle bus picked me up in the morning and the airport was about 8 minutes away.

Check in was smooth ! I booked for 8 rooms. I dont know why they need all of our pasport and they took like 30 mins to copy the pasport . What for?? The hotel was next to aeon , so you can easly grab food or drinks .. The train subway is near which is plus point also . The place is quite ! And thankyou for the shuttle to airport . The driver is really helpfull .. For those of you who just need to transit like two days , i recommed you to take it but for more than that i dont recomend it specially those with family . I am sorry i dont take picture this time

We chose this hotel as it had free airport shuttle and it appeared to be handy for metro travel. In reality it was far from everywhere and we had to pay for rail tickets every day in addition to our 48-hour metro pass. We spent a lot of our limited time on trains. I guess this was not a great hotel choice for first time visitors. The room was minuscule with no place for our 2 suitcases but very clean and functional; the bed was very comfortable and the area was quiet. Buffet breakfast was good with eastern and western choices for AUD$19. Reception staff were very polite and helpful.
