I selected this hotel for my first business trip to Japan as the location was good, near several train stations and also a quick taxi journey to and from Tokyo city centre. The checking in process was easy and painless The lobby was very nice and grand as you would expect featuring a small cafe/ coffee bar on the right... More

Celestine hotel is situated in Tokyo, in the business district as well as close to some city amenities (Tokyo tower, Roppongi Hills commercial area, etc.). There are also some nice restaurants 2 blocks away. Metro station is less than 5 minutes walk away. The room is well equiped with a comfortable size (compared to some other Tokyo hotels) and provides... More

I spent a week at the Celestine hotel and had a great experience. The rooms are comfortable and not too small per Tokyo standards. The amenities are good as well. The room service menu is limited, and the breakfast can get old after a few days. However, the hotel is walking distance to a bunch of coffee shops, convenience stores... More

As some others have said this is a business hotel primarily but a reasonable value option for the non business traveller. Staff: excellent, helpful and courteous. No sign of the alleged rudeness one other reviewer mentioned. Communication was not a problem but then I don't expect everybody to speak English (again as some reviewers seemed to). We had no problems... More

The Celestine is well located in the business district, a stones throw from the metro, Tokyo Tower just round the corner and a plethora of places to eat less than 10 minutes walking distance away. The staff are super attentive and efficient. The rooms are compact, but more than spacious enough. The hotel is very quiet and offers a good... More

This was my first visit to Tokyo so I looked around everywhere for an affordable, comfortable, nice place to stay. Surprisingly, I found this elegant hotel in a business district. Upon arriving from KL, Malaysia early (10am), we were greeted courteously, but had to go walk around for a few hours until our room was ready (2pm). We found a... More

I travel a lot for business and this is one of the best business hotels I stayed in. I arrived pretty late (mid night) and the staff is very attentive to check me in. The room is very neat and clean, surprisingly spacious (hotels in Tokyo is normally very cramped). There are convenient stores nearby so buying drinks and snacks... More

This hotel excels in customer service. My room was really nice. Not spacious, but I wasn't spending my days in there. Bed was perfect. Wonderful view of the city. Nice peaceful courtyard on the 14th floor, with a lounge/library with free coffee, tea and yummy biscuits (cookies). The staff are all professional and hard working. Great location and in a... More

The room had just enough space for 2 people to share. I really liked the toiletries they provided. The shampoo and shower gel were in large containers. Since we stayed at the hotel for over a week, it was convenient not having to use the usual small ones. The room and the bathroom were always spotlessly clean. We loved their... More

The hotel is located in the CBD and is therefore aimed at business people. Staff are very polite, rooms are small, but kept impeccably clean. The hotel bar is warm and well stocked, but the adjoining restaurant is not particularly welcoming and food is average. There are plenty of good Japanese restaurants all within walking distance, and attractions such as... More

Staying in Odaiba / Shiodome / Shinbashi

Neighborhood Profile
Odaiba / Shiodome / Shinbashi
Odaiba is an entertainment hotspot with a giant ferris wheel, concert halls, amusement arcades and lots of shopping. It also boasts Oedo-onsen-monogatari, a hotspring that recreates old Edo-era ambiance and is very popular with foreign visitors. Shiodome has ultra-modern office buildings where you can often find restaurants with a great high-rise view of Tokyo. The neighboring area of Shinbashi is a district of much older commercial buildings and it's a great place to join 'salary men' enjoying a drink and snacks at street stalls under the railway bridges after work.
