Hotel has a nice, boutique-y look and feel in the lobby. There is also a nice looking restaurant adjacent to the lobby. The look is not really replivcated in the rooms though. Rooms are very small with small bathrooms. But they are clean and fairly well laid out. Soundproofing is so so. All in all 'typical Tokyo' Location is nice...

Thank you very much for taking the time to write your review. We are glad that you found our rooms sufficient and that you liked the boutique entrance and restaurant. As a retro building renovated just three years ago, we are still trying to figure out how best to utilize the location and space in an optimal manner for our...

It's been a week since we got back from Tokyo. And I told myself I need to write a review for Roponggi Hotel S of our awesome 6 nights with them. We were travelling with our 2 toddlers (33 month and 13 month olds). My Husband was there for work, leaving me to explore Tokyo on my own with the...

We recently returned from a 5 night stay at Hotel S in Roppongi and can't speak highly enough of our experience. The hotel is well located in a great area close to many of the attractions we had wanted to visit. It is an easy walk from Roppongi train station and would highly recommend bike rental from the hotel. The...

Thank you so much for taking the time to write this excellent review for us. We are very happy that Marina, Kevin and the front staff were able to make your stay happy and comfortable. Good idea to use the bicycles to get around because the Nishi Azabu/Roppongi area has so much to offer in the back streets and bicycle...

The rooms were lovely, quite large compared to what I was expecting. Fantastic array of free toiletries and the rooms were very light and airy. The location was also great-just over the road from Roppongi Hills shopping centre and close to the tube. The staff in this hotel were incredibly helpful and very kind, they even helped us out with...

Thank you so much for writing this kind review of our service. It is quite nice of you to point out the effort that front staff and kitchen team made to have breakfast delivered to your friends' room early. We are trying to have everyone make the extra step for each guest as we feel that is an important part...

Pros: Good location (LOTS of bars & restaurants nearby) Efficient layout for a small room (I had a "four cubes") Good wifi Useful amenities (kettle, microwave, fridge) Cons: Shower (it takes 5 min. to adjust temp; low pressure REALLY hot water and high pressure cold) Breakfast (probably cultural; I can't get into soup & salad in the morning)

Thank you for taking the time to write your review. We are very happy that you stayed with us and your comment about the breakfast is well taken. We will work to improve the shower pressure but since the building is pretty retro (37 years) there are a few quirks that take a while to work through. So glad you...

In the heart of Roppongi, this hotel is ideally situated close to restaurants, entertainment, and shopping. The nearest rail station is approximately an 8 minute walking distance giving you easy access to the rest of Tokyo. The service was the best we experienced in Japan and the rooms, slightly larger than typical Japanese accommodations, were clean and modern. Free wifi...

The staff was very friendly and helpful during check-in and check-out, and offered me an umbrella as I went out on a windy and rainy Monday morning. I booked a nice room, but not one of the premium category. It was very nice, with an enormous bathroom and a separate sitting area. The only downside was that the sixth floor...

Thank you so much for taking the time to write this clear and complete review. Thank you for noting that the location is convenient and also pointing out the proximity to the freeway. Thank you so much for staying with us and for taking the time to write your review. Your points about the lighting and the English channels is well taken. I was staying at the residence for 3 months. And it was a really pleasant experience to stay there. The place was nice, it's an old building but inside design was totally different, maybe its kind of boutique hotel design. The room is clean. But don't expect for a big room. This hotel, as is the case with most travel properties photographs beautifully! If it were a person the camera would add 3 inches of height, hide every blemish and even shed a few pounds for this metaphorical hotel-person. In all seriousness, it is funky.
